In 2019, 49 unarmed people were killed by the police. 9 were black. 19 were white. The likelihood for a black person being shot by the police is as high as being struck by lightning.
If the police is "systematically" anti-black, explain how it is possible that 20% of the Police Force in America is black (African Americans in America constitute roughly 14% of the population, meaning that blacks are *overrepresented* within the police force!)? Why haven’t they gone on the view and told America how they are being trained by racists?
No that is because when they shoot an armed person attacking them, which is the vast vast majority of police shootings, they aren’t charged, and they shouldn’t be. The police charged were considered to shoot too fast, or shot someone without needing to. Thankfully it doesn’t often happen. Again if it does like in the case of Daniel shaver or George Floyd the police should be arrested, simple as. The George Floyd police were arrested because he was black, the Daniel shaver cop was not because shaver was white. There should be rally’s for that disgusting video, have you seen it? If people tried though they would be put down because it doesn’t add to the racial divide the media is trying to create
