Go and pray to lord shiva or whatever it is u do, coz i cant take u seriously.
Not only the quran endorses the gospel but Jesus is more mentioned in it than Muhammad or even Moses.

ur book disproves itself

The Muslims repeatedly claim that the Bible has been corrupted and that the Qur'an is the only trustworthy scripture in existence. This is why Muslims often attack the Bible. But this cannot be according to the Quran. The Quran says that the books of Moses, the Psalms, and the gospel were all given by God.

  • Torah - "We gave Moses the Book and followed him up with a succession of messengers," (Sura 2:87).1
  • Psalms - "We have sent thee inspiration, as We sent it to Noah and the Messengers after him: we sent inspiration to Abraham, Isma'il, Isaac, Jacob and the Tribes, to Jesus, Job, Jonah, Aaron, and Solomon, and to David We gave the Psalms," (4:163).
  • Gospel - "It is He Who sent down to thee (step by step), in truth, the Book, confirming what went before it; and He sent down the Law (of Moses) and the Gospel (of Jesus) before this, as a guide to mankind, and He sent down the criterion (of judgment between right and wrong)," (3:3).
Also, "And in their footsteps We sent Jesus the son of Mary, confirming the Law that had come before him: We sent him the Gospel: therein was guidance and light, and confirmation of the Law that had come before him: a guidance and an admonition to those who fear Allah," (5:46).

We see that the Qur'an states that the Torah, the Psalms, and the Gospel were all given by God. With this, we Christians heartily agree. But, the Muslims claim that the Bible is corrupted and full of contradictions. If that is so, then it would seem they do not believe the Qur'an since the Qur'an says that the Word of God cannot be altered:

  • "Rejected were the messengers before thee: with patience and constancy they bore their rejection and their wrongs, until Our aid did reach them: there is none that can alter the words (and decrees) of Allah. Already hast thou received some account of those messengers," (6:34).
  • "The word of thy Lord doth find its fulfillment in truth and in justice: None can change His words: for He is the one who heareth and knoweth all," (6:115).
  • "For them are glad tidings, in the life of the present and in the Hereafter; no change can there be in the words of Allah. This is indeed the supreme felicity," (10:64).

When Muhammad (570-632) was alive, he claimed to receive the revelation of the Qu'ran from Allah. This means that at that time the Bible, which was in existence, could not have been corrupted because the Qu'ran states that God's word cannot be corrupted. The question I have for the Muslims is "When and where was the Bible corrupted since the Qu'ran says that the Torah, the Psalms, and the Gospel are from Allah and Allah's words cannot be changed?"
I already tackled this here: https://vigilantcitizenforums.com/threads/to-muslims-proof-from-the-quran-that-mohammad-islam-is-wrong.7446/post-293992
But you're clearly not interested in actually representing what the Qur'an actually says, only what you dubiously want to make it say.

As I already mentioned your cognative dissonance in a post in that thread;

The very obvious thing, as I've termed it "bipolar apologetics". On one hand you claim that the Qur'an confirms the Bible and considers it authentic, yet on the other hand you claim that the Qur'an is false because it contradicts the Bible (aka, corrects it).
These people aren't able to make up their minds.
When someone is stuck holding two views at once, is it even possible to help them out?

Christians need to make up their minds, either the Qur'an confirms the Bible or it doesn't. As the saying goes "you can't have your cake and eat it too".

As for what the Qur'an says, Surah al-Maidah has God lambasting both Jews and Christians over this topic.

And certainly God made a covenant with the children of Israel, and We raised up among them twelve chieftains; and God said: Surely I am with you; if you keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate and believe in My apostles and assist them and offer to God a goodly gift, I will most certainly cover your evil deeds, and I will most certainly cause you to enter into gardens beneath which rivers flow, but whoever disbelieves from among you after that, he indeed shall lose the right way.
But on account of their breaking their covenant We cursed them and made their hearts hard; they altered the words from their places and they neglected a portion of what they were reminded of; and you shall always discover treachery in them excepting a few of them; so pardon them and turn away; surely God loves those who do good (to others).
And with those who say, We are Christians, We made a covenant, but they neglected a portion of what they were reminded of, therefore We excited among them enmity and hatred to the day of resurrection; and God will inform them of what they did.
O followers of the Book! indeed Our Apostle has come to you making clear to you much of what you concealed of the Book and passing over much; indeed, there has come to you light and a clear Book from God;
With it God guides him who will follow His pleasure into the ways of safety and brings them out of utter darkness into light by His will and guides them to the right path.
Certainly they disbelieve who say: Surely, God-- He is the Messiah, son of Mary.
Say: 'Who then could control anything as against Allah when He wished to destroy the Messiah son of Mary and his mother and all those on the earth?'
And God's is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and what is between them; He creates what He pleases; and Allah has power over all things,
And the Jews and the Christians say: 'We are the sons of God and His beloved ones.'
Say: 'Why does He then chastise you for your faults? Nay, you are mortals from among those whom He has created, He forgives whom He pleases and chastises whom He pleases; and God's is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, and to Him is the eventual coming.'

O followers of the Book! indeed Our Apostle has come to you explaining to you after a cessation of the (mission of the) apostles, lest you say: There came not to us a giver of good news or a warner, so indeed there has come to you a giver of good news and a warner; and God has power over all things.
(Surah 5:12-19)

(They are) listeners of a lie, devourers of what is forbidden; therefore if they come to you, judge between them or turn aside from them, and if you turn aside from them, they shall not harm you in any way; and if you judge, judge between them with equity; surely God loves those who judge equitably.
And how do they make you a judge and they have the Taurat wherein is God's judgment? Yet they turn back after that, and these are not the believers.
Surely We revealed the Taurat in which was guidance and light; with it the prophets who submitted themselves (to Allah) judged (matters) for those who were Jews, and the masters of Divine knowledge and the doctors, because they were required to guard (part) of the Book of Allah, and they were witnesses thereof; therefore fear not the people and fear Me, and do not take a small price for My communications; and whoever did not judge by what God revealed, those are they that are the unbelievers.
And We prescribed to them in it that life is for life, and eye for eye, and nose for nose, and ear for ear, and tooth for tooth, and (that there is) reprisal in wounds; but he who foregoes it, it shall be an expiation for him; and whoever did not judge by what Allah revealed, those are they that are the unjust.
And We sent after them in their footsteps Jesus, son of Mary, verifying what was before him of the Taurat and We gave him the Injeel in which was guidance and light, and verifying what was before it of Taurat and a guidance and an admonition for those who guard (against evil).
And the followers of the Injeel should have judged by what God revealed in it; and whoever did not judge by what Allah revealed, those are they that are the transgressors.
And We have revealed to you the Book with the truth, verifying what is before it of the Book and a guardian over it, therefore judge between them by what Allah has revealed, and do not follow their low desires (to turn away) from the truth that has come to you; for every one of you did We appoint a law and a way, and if God had pleased He would have made you (all) a single people, but that He might try you in what He gave you, therefore strive with one another to hasten to virtuous deeds; to Allah is your return, of all (of you), so He will let you know that in which you differed;
And that you should judge between them by what God has revealed, and do not follow their low desires, and be cautious of them, lest they seduce you from part of what God has revealed to you; but if they turn back, then know that God desires to afflict them on account of some of their faults; and most surely many of the people are transgressors.
Is it then the judgment of (the times of) ignorance that they desire? And who is better than God to judge for a people who are sure?
O you who believe! do not take the Jews and the Christians for Walis (protector/guardian); they are Walis of each other; and whoever amongst you takes them for a friend, then surely he is one of them; surely God does not guide the unjust people.
But you will see those in whose hearts is a disease hastening towards them, saying: We fear lest a calamity should befall us; but it may be that God will bring the victory or a punishment from Himself, so that they shall be regretting on account of what they hid in their souls.
And those who believe will say: Are these they who swore by God with the most forcible of their oaths that they were most surely with you? Their deeds shall go for nothing, so they shall become losers.
O you who believe! whoever from among you turns back from his religion, then God will bring a people, He shall love them and they shall love Him, lowly before the believers, mighty against the unbelievers, they shall strive hard in God's way and shall not fear the censure of any censurer; this is God's Face, He gives it to whom He pleases, and God is Ample-giving, Knowing.
Only God is your Wali (protector/guardian) and His Apostle and those who believe, those who keep up prayers and pay the poor-rate while they bow.
And whoever takes God and His apostle and those who believe for a guardian, then surely the party of God are they that shall be triumphant.

O you who believe! do not take for guardians those who take your religion for a mockery and a joke, from among those who were given the Book before you and the unbelievers; and be careful of (your duty to) God if you are believers.
(Surah 5:42-57)

And the Jews say: The hand of God is tied up! Their hands shall be shackled and they shall be cursed for what they say. Nay, both His hands are spread out, He expends as He pleases; and what has been revealed to you from your Lord will certainly make many of them increase in inordinacy and unbelief; and We have put enmity and hatred among them till the day of resurrection; whenever they kindle a fire for war God puts it out, and they strive to make mischief in the land; and God does not love the mischief-makers.
And if the followers of the Book had believed and guarded (against evil) We would certainly have covered their evil deeds and We would certainly have made them enter gardens of bliss
And if they had kept up the Taurat and the Injeel and that which was revealed to them from their Lord, they would certainly have eaten from above them and from beneath their feet there is a party of them keeping to the moderate course, and (as for) most of them, evil is that which they do
O Apostle! deliver what has been revealed to you from your Lord; and if you do it not, then you have not delivered His message, and God will protect you from the people; surely Allah will not guide the unbelieving people.
Say: 'O followers of the Book! you follow no good till you keep up the Taurat and the Injeel and that which is revealed to you from your Lord; and surely that which has been revealed to you from your Lord shall make many of them increase in inordinacy and unbelief; grieve not therefore for the unbelieving people.'
Surely those who believe and those who are Jews and the Sabians and the Christians whoever believes in God and the last day and does good-- they shall have no fear nor shall they grieve.
Certainly We made a covenant with the children of Israel and We sent to them apostles; whenever there came to them an apostle with what that their souls did not desire, some (of them) did they call liars and some they slew.
And they thought that there would be no affliction, so they became blind and deaf; then God turned to them mercifully, but many of them became blind and deaf; and God is well seeing what they do.
Certainly they disbelieve who say: 'Surely God, He is the Messiah, son of Mary'
and the Messiah said: 'O Children of Israel! serve God, my Lord and your Lord. Surely whoever associates (others) with Allah'
then God has forbidden to him the garden, and his abode is the fire; and there shall be no helpers for the unjust.
Certainly they disbelieve who say: Surely God is the third (person) of the three; and there is no god but the one God, and if they desist not from what they say, a painful chastisement shall befall those among them who disbelieve.
Will they not then turn to God and ask His forgiveness? And Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
The Messiah, son of Mary is but an apostle; apostles before him have indeed passed away; and his mother was a truthful woman; they both used to eat food. See how We make the communications clear to them, then behold, how they are turned away.
Say: 'Do you serve besides God that which does not control for you any harm, or any profit? And God-- He is the Hearing, the Knowing.'

Say: 'O followers of the Book! be not unduly immoderate in your religion, and do not follow the low desires of people who went astray before and led many astray and went astray from the right path.'
(Surah 5:64-77)

And had they believed in God and the prophet and what was revealed to him, they would not have taken them for friends but! most of them are transgressors.
Certainly you will find the most violent of people in enmity for those who believe (to be) the Jews and those who are polytheists, and you will certainly find the nearest in friendship to those who believe (to be) those who say: 'We are Christians'; this is because there are priests and monks among them and because they do not behave proudly.
And when they hear what has been revealed to the apostle you will see their eyes overflowing with tears on account of the truth that they recognize; they say: Our Lord! we believe, so write us down with the witnesses (of truth).
And what (reason) have we that we should not believe in Allah and in the truth that has come to us, while we earnestly desire that our Lord should cause us to enter with the good people?
Therefore God rewarded them on account of what they said, with gardens in which rivers flow to abide in them; and this is the reward of those who do good (to others).

And (as for) those who disbelieve and reject Our communications, these are the companions of the flame.
(5:81-86)

On the day when God will assemble the apostles, then say: 'What answer were you given?'
They shall say: 'We have no knowledge, surely Thou art the great Knower of the unseen things.'
When Allah will say: 'O Jesus son of Mary! Remember My favor on you and on your mother, when I strengthened you I with the holy Spirit, you spoke to the people in the cradle and I when of old age, and when I taught you the Book and the wisdom and the Taurat and the Injeel; and when you determined out of clay a thing like the form of a bird by My permission, then you breathed into it and it became a bird by My permission, and you healed the blind and the leprous by My permission; and when you brought forth the dead by My permission; and when I withheld the children of Israel from you when you came to them with clear arguments' but those who disbelieved among them said: This is nothing but clear enchantment.
And when I revealed to the disciples, saying, 'Believe in Me and My apostle' they said: 'We believe and bear witness that we submit (ourselves).'
When the disciples said: 'O Jesus son of Mary! will your Lord consent to send down to us food from heaven?' He said: 'Be careful of (your duty to) God if you are believers.'
They said: We desire that we should eat of it and that our hearts should be at rest, and that we may know that you have indeed spoken the truth to us and that we may be of the witnesses to it.
Jesus the son of Mary said: O God, our Lord! send i down to us food from heaven which should be to us an ever-recurring happiness, to the first of us and to the last of us, and a sign from Thee, and grant us means of subsistence, and Thou art the best of the Providers.
God said: 'Surely I will send it down to you, but whoever shall disbelieve afterwards from among you, surely I will chastise him with a chastisement with which I will not chastise, anyone among the nations.'
And when God will say: 'O Jesus son of Mary! did you say to men, Take me and my mother for two gods besides Allah'
he will say: 'Glory be to Thee, it did not befit me that I should say what I had no right to (say); if I had said it, Thou wouldst indeed have known it; Thou knowest what is in my mind, and I do not know what is in Thy mind, surely Thou art the great Knower of the unseen things.'

I did not say to them aught save what Thou didst enjoin me with: That serve God, my Lord and your Lord, and I was a witness of them so long as I was among them, but when Thou didst cause me to die, Thou wert the watcher over them, and Thou art witness of all things.
(Surah 5:109-117)

I just showed u it does, it clearly endorses the gospel LOL. But wait...its been corrupted...but Allah gave us the gospel...and it cant be corrupted, because logic!
Use some logic:

  1. God revealed the gospel (singular, 'injeel' in arabic) to Jesus himself, which Jesus taught (according to not only the Qur'an but your books themselves)
  2. Your books are biographies about Jesus' life, not revelations given to Jesus to his people.
Yet your conclusion is to say (which is a non-sequitur fallacy, and disproved by the above) that it confirms your books (which are merely 4 of over 70 biographies nonetheless). Where is your head, dude?

Even the notion of God sending another prophet in your conclusion makes no sense but I get that it's a polemic sense of self-validation you want, where there is none. God sends revelation and prophets for a reason, and God is known even in your own books for lambasting previous generations for their deviancy, their distortion of the message, for idolatry, for a lot of things.

so allah contradicted himself when he said that he gave christians the gospel, got it!
No, YOU have contradicted yourself. You are claiming things that the scripture doesn't say.

Again, as Surah 5:46 states:
"And We sent after them in their footsteps Jesus, son of Mary, verifying what was before him of the Taurat and We gave him the Injeel in which was guidance and light, and verifying what was before it of Taurat and a guidance and an admonition for those who guard (against evil)."

Jesus was not revealed Matthew, Mark, Luke or John by God. How dense have you got to be to believe something as absurd as that?

And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people. (Matthew 4:23)

And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. (Matthew 9:35)

The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them (Matthew 11:5)

And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come (Matthew 24:14)

Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached in the whole world, there shall also this, that this woman hath done, be told for a memorial of her (Matthew 26:13)

Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God. And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel (Mark 1:14-15)

For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life because of Me and the gospel will save it (Mark 8:35)

“I assure you,” Jesus said, “there is no one who has left house, brothers or sisters, mother or father, children, or fields because of Me and the gospel (Mark 10:29)

And the gospel must first be preached among all nations. (Mark 13:10)

Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached throughout the whole world, this also that she hath done shall be spoken of for a memorial of her (Mark 14:9)

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature (Mark 16:15)

So with many other exhortations he (John the Baptist) preached the gospel to the people. (Luke 3:18)

The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised (Luke 4:18)

But He said to them, I must preach the Gospel of the kingdom of God to the other cities also, for I was sent for this (Luke 4:43)

Then Jesus answering said unto them, Go your way, and tell John what things ye have seen and heard; how that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is preached. (Luke 7:22)

Soon afterward, [Jesus] went on through towns and villages, preaching and bringing the Gospel of the kingdom of God. And the Twelve [apostles] were with Him (Luke 8:1)

And they departed, and went through the towns, preaching the gospel, and healing every where. (Luke 9:6)

“The Law and the Prophets were proclaimed until John; since that time the Gospel of the kingdom of God has been preached, and everyone is forcing his way into it. (Luke 16:16)

And it came to pass, that on one of those days, as he taught the people in the temple, and preached the gospel, the chief priests and the scribes came upon him with the elders (Luke 20:1)

Yet they never ceased for a single day, both in the temple area and at home, to teach and to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus the Messiah (Acts 5:42)

And so on.

As for Torah.

As a very significant verse of the Pentateuch states:

And Yahweh said unto Moses, Come up to me into the mount, and be there: and I will give thee tables of stone, and the Torah, and commandments which I have written; that thou mayest teach them
(Exodus 24:12)

Further verses include:

And it shall be for a sign unto thee upon thine hand, and for a memorial between thine eyes, that Yahweh's Torah may be in thy mouth: for with a strong hand hath the LORD brought thee out of Egypt (Exodus 13:9)

"And you are to put up the veil under the hooks, and put inside it the ark of the Torah; the veil is to be a division between the holy place and the most holy."
Exodus 26:33

It'd take hours to list every mention of it in the Tanakh (Old Testament) though, but it's frequently referred to as an object and doctrine/teaching of Moses from within inside the narratives of the text, not the text itself.

tl;dr you have no arguments, you've never even studied this topic.
you just keep repeating the same stuff, there is nothing to "study", you just said oh yeh it was the gospel, but it wasnt the gospel as we know it, thats not what it meant!

THE MIRACLE OF REINTERPRETATION!

u can reinterpret everything u like, great skill to have!

this has to be the most ridiculous thing ive ever read, so oral and written accounts arent true, but some hidden tradition that people said which is the same as oral actually, which was different is actually the truth.

Mental gymnastics much, this is absurd. There is nothing to refute here.

I’m just curious about the confusion. But it always comes down to not accepting Christ is the Messiah and there is no such thing as the Holy Ghost...

Oral accounts may have truth, nobody can verify that. They are biographical narratives ABOUT Jesus' life, but not directly the revelation or teaching from Jesus himself. Learn to read.
Matthew Mark Luke and John are known to have common sources, there is scholarship on this. You can't pin it on Islam.

You say that Matthew Mark Luke and John are literally the revelation itself, we find such a position categorically absurd and worthy of ridicule (as many other non-Christians likewise would, from a mere reading of the text). These are only anonymous biographical texts that write of his life, nothing more or less.

In Islam, Jesus is the messiah (I even quoted verses about that before) and he possessed the holy spirit (in it's Jewish meaning, not Christian reinterpretation).
