So schools and nurseries in England are yet to close...what the hell is this blonde baboon playing at?

Scotland and Wales have taken precautionary measures yet he is gambling with England?

I'm keeping my boy at home...there are at least 12 staff off with flu like symptoms at his school. Why is it up for debate??

And no word on how he's going to help the self employed like me...I can only earn when I work which is sporadic at the moment due to my morning sickness. It's looking like our director is closing the college next week which means we'll be down to a one person income...in London? Lol that does not bode well...

There needs to be a temporary relief of utility bills and council tax (we pay up to £180 a month to live in London boroughs! Apparently the money goes towards adult social care and maintenance of roads..LOL you should see our roads...)

There needs to be help for landlords and homeowners so they are able to keep up with their mortgage repayments...help for people who are still in work and due to school closures have no support when it comes to their children....

Another thing...school closures mean the list vulnerable kids from broken homes will be exposed to hunger, abuse and neglect.. how do we keep on tabs the welfare of these kids??

Maybe it's the hormones but I'm honestly fuming at this.

When I worked for child services I had to sign a contract which basically said if the tribulation is upon us I was still required to report to work. Every friend I have that still works there is still being required to report to work. I don’t know if that eases your anxiety a bit.. I do worry about abused children and women having to be confined with their abuser 24/7. This is something I’ve been worried about for a while now.

My landlord posted something on fb two days ag asking the government to suspend mortgage and rent payments for a while.. I almost wanted to text her “does this mean I don’t have to pay you right now?” But I didn’t because I know she’s only thinking of her self, not her tenants. I am 90% sure she is still expecting rent on April 1st.

So guys, England has joined Wales and Scotland in closing their schools.

He has also announced the cancellation of all exams in May and June...which could have detrimental consequences for those wishing to go on to university after college...

Not sure I agree with everything he's done but the closures give a relief to the tired and concerned teachers and worried kids...

No word about pay though...so yh I'm officially out of the job as of Friday with no idea when I'll be back at work.

What I find interesting is there was a survey regarding our province implementing two mandatory e-learning courses in order for students to graduate, with an overwhelming majority of students, teachers and parents NOT in favour of it. Cancelling the rest of the year would certainly help their "cause".

This is all getting very interesting.

I’m of the mind that these things aren’t engineered by the elite — but the response always is. If you look at 9/11, and at the writings and actions of the Project For A New American Century crowd, you see that they didn’t have to engineer a “Pearl Harbor-type event” to start making moves in the Middle East because they all knew that kind of event would eventually happen of it’s own volition.

Likewise with this pandemic. We’ve all been expecting one for years. The motto of the elite is one we’ve heard applied to the Democrats lately — Never Let A Crisis Go To Waste — but I think it was George Bush Jr’s administration that took the best advantage of a predictable event to further the elite’s agenda.

The elite want us at home, feeding off a delicious mix of handouts and entertainment that they provide. They are nearly at the point of accomplishing this, and all it took was a little virus.

Just an observation..

I am an adult student who is used to distance learning and was already enrolled in a distance masters program prior to this nonsense starting and has received straight A’s the entire time.

I am struggling to complete the last week of classes and maintain enough focus to actually comprehend the materials I am supposed to be learning in the midst of everything going on.

If I am struggling how are these kids supposed to manage this?

If everybody would just spend the next 2 weeks spring cleaning and organizing their houses it would all go by much faster...The pollen is so bad here that everytime I get a little wheezy I be thinkin' to myself, "self, I hope I ain't caught that rona" :oops::)

After the first two days of parents trying to school children themselves at home, it was pretty much a unanimous consensus that teachers should be paid 1 million dollars a year...
