The evidence and witnesses that are “new” were purposely withheld by the administration until after house proceedings ended. In addition they are currently not even allowing existing evidence or witnesses in the senate proceedings until after some sort of vote. This is unprecedented and should be concerning to you because if there is nothing to hide and he did nothing wrong... why?

I for one have never once called him an idiot. He isn’t. He’s a shit person who plays stupid to deflect from being a shit person. And it’s not a lame smear. It’s reality. I’ve never once met a criminal that got their own hands dirty enough to be implicated, only street thugs. Not the same thing. I’ve known a lot of criminals..

Clearly they had enough of a case to proceed. That doesn’t mean that newly available evidence shouldn’t also be admitted - as it would be in every other trial in this country. As it would be if it exonerated trump. Why was the evidence with held and the potential witnesses instructed not to comply if they didn’t matter? That’s obstruction of justice and even more so if they won’t be allowed to be admitted STILL. What is your justification for that?

McConnell came straight out and said he was structuring this to protect the president. No amount of obfuscation on your end will change that.

As I said I don’t want him removed, I live around to many rednecks to be comfortable with the possibilities that could result in if he is and I don’t like pence either so it’s a no win for me regardless. But to pretend like this isn’t exactly what it is defies reason

The amount of purposeful misdirection... this isn’t a criminal trial. It is an administrative proceeding to decide whether to remove someone from a position - based on the conduct they’ve displayed while in that position. We have checks and balances on powers written into every single part of our government. If it was a criminal charge they would have charged him criminally. Well, they would charge him after he’s out of office since apparantly presidents are exempt from criminal charges. Stop conflating the two to serve your own agenda.

The economy is crap. You’d know that if you spent half as much time actually in this country as you do debating about it on the internet. I really don’t know what your end game is here.. Or maybe just maybe Lisa it’s because he actually IS so blatantly corrupt that it is too much even for the politicians. You might not realize this from your gilded delusional cage but any day now the people of this country are going to rise up because they’ve had enough, and there are a whole lot of politicians and wealthy people scrambling to atleast virtue signal that they are on the right side of that upcoming conflict. A rare few who might actually be so.. but it’s suspect.

This will do nothing for them in the upcoming election. They know that. It’s something other than that.
