Also if you look at catholicism (the MOTHER CHURCH - "christianity") and their rituals you should be able to immediately see, that it is the very definition of sorcery. Everything they do is. It couldn't be any more obvious, except to people who are blind.

If Jahtruth really is referring to Simon the Sorceror - actual intention, not personal mistake/ misnterpretation from me - he is referring to a Gnostic, not a Christian.

This is an interesting book from the 2nd century AD, claiming to be the battle between the apostle (Simon) Peter and Simon of Magus. RE Peter not actually going to Rome: it is an area of disagreement amongst scholars.
It probably depends a bit on whether they trust early church fathers' history accounts or not.

Correct. To warn against all the false Christs (and false teachers and religions) that would come in order to deceive people, not against believing the real Christ, who would be where He said. Christ said, as the times of Noah will it be.

There are a lot of false religious practices and falsehoods which can be interpreted as sorcery in the RCC.
