Wow thanks for sharing! I agree with most of the things you said, tbh the thing about artists like Justin Bieber, Ariana, BTS ect is that most people, especially the youth, discover their music during one of their lowest points in their life, I’m not generalizing here but I’m speaking in terms of how most BTS fans I’ve talked to have said that their music has helped them cope with life, depression ect, sometimes it’s not even their music but the actual celebs themselves lol I feel like those type of fans emotionally attach themselves to the group, because they feel grateful that they changed their lives, I can’t tell you how much I’ve heard fans say “so and so has saved my life ect” I’m not trying to be bias but the truth is, depression sells, it sounds harsh yes but it’s true, most kpop groups have meaningful songs once in a while, but BTS on the other hand literally most of their songs are deep and meaningful...because of this some ppl feel like they can relate and understand them because they share a common struggle. I don’t know if I’m making sense but yeah
