Unless the middle part of his beard has been torn out (it seems an unnatural shape to grow one, with two points? I don’t think it is implicit that every part of the Lord’s beard would have been ripped out.I offered my back to those who beat me,
my cheeks to those who pulled out my beard;
I did not hide my face
from mocking and spitting.
Isaiah 50:6
If you believe that was a prophecy about Christ's torture then you have to conclude that Christ is not the figure on the shroud.

The Shroud of Turin
The Shroud is woven flax, made by a professional-quality weaver, which was likely only to have been owned by a wealthy man
(e.g., Joseph of Arimathea).
The flax fibers are traceable to the Eastern Mediterranean or the Middle East.
The stitching is identical to an artifact found at Masada in Israel, dated between 40 BC and AD 73.
And the cloth has been otherwise dated to between 300 BC and 300 AD.
Chemical and biological testing proves that there are blood stains on the Shroud, of blood type AB and antigen group MNS.
Moreover, there are no paint pigments of any kind on the Shroud—eliminating the possibility that the Shroud is some sort of supremely clever artistic forgery.
The Shroud bears the image of a grown male, five feet eleven inches tall, with shoulder length hair and a beard—a man who had suffered crucifixion in the Roman fashion.
I wonder - how do you read this?Reading the whole bible is all very well, but let's not forget Jesus is the "nuclear core" of the bible, so we should concentrate mainly on the gospels and the rest of the New T, and not scare people off by telling them they need to study the whole bible..
Below is a typical slimline gospel costing just a few pence or free from most christian groups, and if people can't find Jesus in there, not all the studying of the whole bible is going to help them..

Jesus said as much to the priests by telling them to get their noses out of their thick theological volumes and just glance up to see him standing in front of them-
Jesus said:-"You diligently study the Scriptures because you think that by them you possess eternal life. These are the Scriptures that testify about me, yet you refuse to come to me to have life." (John 5:39/40)
And Paul said much the same thing - "I'm worried lest you be led astray from the simplicity of Christ" (2 Cor 11:3)
