A Prayer for Today.

Lord, I’m here today with open hands and an open heart, ready to depend on you to help me through the day and all it will bring my way. Help me be like Nehemiah, help me come to you for guidance, strength, provision and protection. As I face tough choices and hard situations, help me remember my belovedness, help me remember that I am Your child and Your representative to the world around me. Help me live today in a way that brings honor to Your holy name. In Jesus’ Name we pray Amen.

If atheists and nonchristians prayed, it might go something like this when they wake up every morning-
"Thank you God for giving me another day and another chance to come to my senses and turn to Jesus"

But if they still die as atheists and nonchristians it might go something like this when they stand before God for judgement-
"Dear God, please give me just one more day and one more chance to turn to Jesus"
God- "Sorry, I gave you 20 thousand days and 20 thousand chances during your lifetime, so it's game over for you"

Matthew 7:16-20
7:16 Ye shall know them by their fruits (actions). Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
7:17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
7:18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither [can] a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
7:19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into The Fire.
7:20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

John 14:15 If ye love me, KEEP my COMMANDments.

Ephesians 2:8-10
2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God:
2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
2:10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to DO good WORKS, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them (do them - good works).

1 John 3:6-10
3:6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.
3:7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he (Christ) is righteous.
3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the Beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for His seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
3:10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever DOETH NOT righteousness is NOT of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

We NEED to stop making excuses and start anew TODAY, by remembering and returning to The Law that God gave us to protect us from all of this evil/sin and to set and keep us FREE from the oppression, injustice poverty and crime that sin causes.

We can and MUST begin keeping and enforcing God's Law ONLY, to show God by our actions what is truly in our hearts and minds (Jer. 31:31-34; Heb. 10:16-17). WITH God, ALL things ARE possible (Matt. 19:26).

Pray for more faith and guidance, and show God that you truly wish to devote each and every moment that remains to become less selfish and evil, by helping and loving one another to become more God-like. We can transform this world into the heaven on earth it was meant to be WITH God's Help.

"Then one of the seraphim flew to me with a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with tongs from the altar.
With it he touched my mouth and said, 'See, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for.'
Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, 'Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?'

And I said, 'Here am I. Send me!” (Isaiah 6:6-9)
