The alleged "Gospel of Barnabas" is a late 16th, early 17th century forgery written in Italian and Spanish which, like the hadith that was fabricated 700 years earlier, routinely contradicts the Old Covenant/Testament, New Covenant Testament and the Koran/Quran, as well as itself.

Excerpt below from:

“There is one major problem with the forgery—the problem of changing the face of Judas to exactly resemble the face of Jesus. All the people who saw the crucifixion believed without question that it was Jesus who was crucified. So the question remains, who perpetrated this hoax?”
(Ayad 1987:84)"

Anyone who believes are promotes such forgeries will reap exactly what they sow (Gal. 6:7).

Why Muslims Should Reject The Gospel of Barnabas

One of the major complaints that even Muslims should recognize is
that The Gospel of Barnabas contains too many errors and problems for an
author who claimed to have been a witness to the acts of Jesus, and thus a
citizen of first century Palestine. For example, a noticeable Islamic spin has
been placed on the book, indicating that it was written after Mohammad.
The Qur’an was based upon a rendition of the four Gospels (the Injil) and
not the GB. Thus, if a Muslim holds faith in the Gospel of Barnabas, then
he must ignore major segments of the Qur’an since both books cannot be
correct. Many of the errors and problems in the GB fall into seven major
classifications.

Historical Errors

A legitimate Jewish Barnabas would have a sound knowledge of the
biblical record, the identity of the various authors of the Scriptures, and
would have been unfamiliar with future events and customs. Notice a
comparison of the Gospel of Barnabas, chapter 160 with 2 Chronicles 18:1-3.
Then said he who writes: “Daniel the prophet, describing the history
of the kings of Israel and their tyrants, writes thus: ‘The king of Israel
joined himself with the king of Judah to fight against the sons of Be-
lial (that is, reprobates) who were the Ammonites’. Now Jehoshaphat,
king of Judah, and Ahab, king of Israel, being seated both on a throne
in Samaria, there stood before them four hundred false prophets, who
said to the king of Israel: ‘Go up against the Ammonites, for God will
give them into your hands, and you shall scatter Ammon.’” (Ragg and
Ragg 1907:373)

Now Jehoshaphat had riches and honour in abundance, and joined
affinity with Ahab. And after certain years he went down to Ahab to
Samaria. And Ahab killed sheep and oxen for him in abundance, and
for the people that he had with him, and persuaded him to go up with
him to Ramothgilead. And Ahab king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat
king of Judah, “Wilt thou go with me to Ramothgilead?” And he an-
swered him, “I am as thou art, and my people as thy people; and we
will be with thee in the war.” (2 Chr 18:1-3 KJV)

It is interesting to note that nowhere in the biblical record of Daniel
the prophet does he mention Ahab, Jehoshaphat, or the Ammonites. Jan
Slomp comments that according to the GB, Daniel becomes the author of
2 Chronicles 18 (1978:78).

There is another discrepancy in GB 152 where it says, “Whereupon
straightway the soldiers were rolled out of the Temple as one rolleth casks
of wood when they are washed to refill them with wine” (Ragg and Ragg
1907:355). Jesus in his discourse speaks about new wine being placed in
old wine skins. Yet in GB chapter 152, ‘Barnabas’ references wooden casks;
wooden wine casks suggest medieval Europe (Kritzinger 1980:49).

Notice one more example in GB chapter 80. “Daniel as a child, with
Ananias, Azarias, and Misaell, were taken captive by Nebuchadnezzar in
such wise that they were by two years old when they were taken; and
they were nurtured among the multitude of idolatrous servants” (Ragg
and Ragg 1907: 185). A two-year-old Daniel as mentioned in GB 80 is not
supported by the Bible. Would a two-year-old Daniel be inclined to say,
“Prove thy servants, I beseech thee, ten days; and let them give us pulse to
eat, and water to drink?” (Dan 1:12).

Geographical Errors

An author who walked with Jesus would certainly be familiar with
the conditions around Nazareth and Jerusalem. However in GB chapter
20 it says, “Jesus went to the Sea of Galilee, and having embarked in a
ship sailed to his city of Nazareth; whereupon there was a great tempest
in the sea, insomuch that the ship was nigh unto sinking. And Jesus was
sleeping upon the prow of the ship. Then drew near to him his disciples,
and awoke him, saying: ‘O master, save thyself, for we perish!’. . . Hav-
ing arrived at the city of Nazareth the seamen spread through the city
all that Jesus had wrought, whereupon the house where Jesus was, was
surrounded by as many people who dwelt in the city” (Ragg and Ragg
1907:41). There is no way one can sail to Nazareth—it is located on a high
plateau far above the Sea of Galillee.

Then in GB chapter 21, ‘Barnabas’ reports Jesus traveling from Naza-
reth up to Capernaum. “Jesus went up to Capernaum, and as he drew near
the city behold there came out of the tombs one that was possessed of a
devil” (Ragg and Ragg 1907:43). Again, the Sea of Galilee is down from
Nazareth, not up.

Jesus returns to Nazareth in GB chapter 143, followed in the narrative
in chapter 151 by this statement: “Jesus then embarked on a ship.” In
chapter 152, it says, “Jesus having come to Jerusalem.”

Summarizing these verses, the author has Jesus and the disciples sail
by ship in and out of Nazareth, and arrive by ship at Jerusalem. This
would be a very difficult journey no doubt, because neither Nazareth nor
Jerusalem is a port city; Nazareth is twenty-five miles from navigable wa-
ter at an elevation of 1,830 feet, whereas Capernaum is located nearly 700
feet below sea level (See Luke 4:31, John 2:12.).

It may not be possible to know who wrote this hoax, but it is clear that
he knew nothing of the geography of the Holy Land.

Time Errors


When an author writes a historical book in the past tense, it is important
not to allude to works written after the time period the book purports
to have been written in. ‘Barnabas’ claims to have been a disciple of Jesus,
but the author of the GB clearly made references to things that only be-
came known at a much later date. Barnabas was a disciple, not a prophet
who could look into the future. “This manuscript prophesied not only
about the Prophet of Islam but also offered much of the Islamic teaching. It
is exceedingly clear that many of the paragraphs in the Book of Barnabas
are a literal translation of the Koran, or have the same meaning” (Ayad
1986:85).

There is another problem with the dating of the book. The author of The
Gospel of Barnabas uses the Vulgate Bible according to the scholar Gilchrist
(The Gospel of Barnabas). This is a problem because history indicates that
the Vulgate translation came into existence about AD 380. Another problem
occurs in chapter three of the GB where it indicates that Pilate was
ruling Judea at the birth of Jesus (Ragg and Ragg 1907:7). This is not true,
as Herod was ruling at his birth in Matt 2:1. Pilate began ruling in 26 CE
and condemned Jesus to death several years later (Pontius Pilate).
Another time error occurs in GB chapter 166 where the author of the
book references the book of Romans (9:18) at a time prior to Saul’s conversion.
Jesus and his disciple Andrew are speaking. “Andrew replied: ‘But
how is that to be understood which God said to Moses, that he will have
mercy on whom he wills to have mercy and will harden whom he wills to
harden’” (Ragg and Ragg 1907:385)

After referencing Romans prior to Paul’s conversion, the author of
Barnabas repeatedly refers to Paul as one deceived of Satan. “Among
whom also Paul hath been deceived, whereof I speak not without grief;
for which cause I am writing that truth which I have seen and heard, in
the intercourse that I have had with Jesus, in order that ye may be saved,
and not be deceived of Satan and perish in the judgment of God” (Ragg
and Ragg 1907:3). “Others preached, and yet preach, that Jesus is the Son
of God, among whom is Paul deceived” (Ragg and Ragg 1907:489). How
could a disciple of Jesus talk about Paul who had not yet come into the
picture?

disservice to their religion and bring disrespect to their established Holy
book. No good can come from this distortion.

It is hoped that missiologists and other Christian witnesses can
ameliorate the Muslim perception of The Gospel of Barnabas, thereby removing
the shame and dishonor it brings upon Islam by those who believe it to be
true and use it as a source of their belief.

to me that is satanic to another level because i even took the time to prove to him that these were false translations and not in the arabic. Yet he doubled down.

i proved that the story of Joseph AS where he mentions his 'rabb' (his lord, being his slave master) was also falsely mistranslated by muslim translators (not all but some)...and yet these satanists kept on attacking the bible claiming 'but dat king jamezes version'

these people are arguing against Allah. that is the truth. they declared takfir on me and called me a kafir..but i didn't say anyting to them until they doubled down on their very deliberate satanic attacks against the Quran, instead choosing their own jewish interpretations/false translations that came from HOUSE OF SATAN, NAJD, RIYADH.

No, in the hebrew language the term Ben Elohim was symbolic and never literal.
The problem is when that term was taken out of hebrew, into other languages.

The term Ben Elohim was eventually merged with the greek concept of the LOGOS/WORD. Jewish thinkers connected the LOGOS concept with the biblical concept of the IMAGE OF GOD. As the term LOGOS spread throughout the hellenised world, many mystery religions came with this idea of a perfect male incarnation of the LOGOS.
The jewish philosopher Philo was the one who integrated this Logos concept into jewish thought and then symbolically calling it BEN ELOHIM. He did this because he obviously understood that the common jew was not receptible to greek hellenistic ideas given the history of greek persecution of jews (the maccabean revolt story).

Yet fast forward to the Quran and Islam. Allah has continued the term LOGOS into the arabic language, as the Kalam (Word ie the Logos). This is yet again a term that gets lost in translation. Muslims lately like muslimlantern confused this term in it's context with 'the Quran' (which is a literal Word of Allah as opposed to the LOGOS concept which is deeper and coming from a higher metaphysical truth).
The Quran is the uttered Word whereas the LOGOS in it's original greek philosophical context pertains to more than an uttered word, but the internal reality which is then express, bringing about all of creation.
The Logos is basically Allah's Eternal knowledge of all things.
Jesus AS is the only human who is directly called Allah's WORD. Yet even here muslims have then chosen to add their own nonsense into translations in order to influence the reader.

eg they add the words 'Be and it is' but this pertains to the act of Creation and has nothing to do with the WORD/LOGOS concept with Jesus AS.

This topic has been much debated historically by muslims, it is THE KALAM COSMOLOGICAL ARGUMENT

The most important words in all of Scripture are found in John 3, where it states the following:

John 3:3-7
3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born from above, he cannot SEE The Kingdom of God.
3:4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water (human) and then is born (later) from above as his spirit-"Being" (his REAL self which is NOT human), he can NOT enter into The Kingdom of God (Who is a Spirit-"Being").
3:6 That which is born of the flesh is human; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit (a spirit-"Being") - (a human+Being).
3:7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

Until one truly understands the difference between the spirit (a spiritual-Being) and the flesh (a human), they can NEVER see nor understand the Kingdom of God, which is SPIRITUAL (John 4:24).

All of the angels/souls/jinns/spiritual-Beings whom God CREATED are referred to as "the sons of God".


All of the human race, which God likewise created, are able to reproduce via procreation and, being the offspring of men (humans), they are referred to as "the sons of men".

When Prince Michael -- the eldest/first-created Son of God, known here on Earth as The Messiah/Christ -- incarnated the human body of Jesus (John 1:14), which was descended from Abraham through king David, via the virgin Mary (Matt. 1:1-17), the two became the human+Being commonly referred to as Jesus+Christ.

Jesus (the son of Mary) WAS crucified and died on Wednesday, April 21, 34 A.D. And God raised him from the dead 3 days and 3 nights later on the Sabbath day (Saturday), April 24, 34 A.D., exactly as prophesied in the Old Covenant/Testament, witnessed and recorded in the New Covenant/Testament and CONFIRMED in the Koran/Quran. This is a historical and irrefutable fact. We literally changed the way we keep time on this planet because of the virgin birth, miracles Jesus performed and his crucifixion and resurrection.

However, despite the best efforts of the leaders of church (the Sanhedrin, the ruling body of Talmudic Judaism) and state (the Roman government), who MISTAKENLY believed they could kill Christ (Matt. 10:28), the immortal spiritual-Being, by killing Jesus, they learned 3 days and 3 nights later that their efforts were UNSUCCESSFUL, when God raised Jesus from the dead.

THAT is exactly what Sura 4:157-158 is telling us. There would be no reason for God to raise Jesus in Sura 4:158 if Jesus didn't die, exactly as both God and Jesus are quoted as saying in the Koran/Quran.

Sura 3:55. Behold! GOD SAID: "O Jesus! I WILL take thee and raise thee to Myself and clear thee (of the falsehoods) of those who blaspheme; I will make those who follow thee SUPERIOR to those who reject faith, to The Day of Resurrection: then shall ye all return unto Me, and I will judge between you of the matters wherein ye dispute.

Sura 4:157-159
4:157. That they said (in boast), "We killed Christ the son of Mary, the Messenger of God";- but they killed Christ not, nor crucified Christ (John 1:10), but so it was made to appear to them (as they crucified the human body called Jesus, that Christ the spirit-being used - Psalm 22; Isaiah 52:13 to 54:1; Zechariah 11:10-13; Matthew 27), and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) Knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed Christ not:-
4:158. NAY, GOD RAISED HIM UP UNTO HIMSELF and God is Exalted in Power, and in Wisdom;-
4:159. And, of the People of The Book, they all MUST believe him (Christ) before their death; and on The Day of Judgment he will be a witness against them (and you) (Sura 43:61);-

Sura 6:122. Can he who was dead (Jesus – Matt. 27:50-54, Mark 15:37-39, Luke 23:44-47, John 19:30-42) to whom We gave life (Matt. 28:5-10, Mark 16:6-8, Luke 24, John 20), and a Light (John 3:19-21, John 8:3; Sura 2:87; Sura 2:253; Sura 5:113) with which he (Christ) walks amongst men, be like him who is in the depths of darkness (Lucifer), from which he can never come out? Thus to those without Faith their own deeds seem pleasing (Deut. 4:28, Matt. 6:5-8).

Sura 19:33-34
19:33. So Peace is on me the day I was born, the day that I die, and the day that I shall be raised up to life (again)!"
19:34. Such (was) Jesus the son of Mary: (it is) a statement of TRUTH, about which they (vainly) dispute.

It requires extreme stupidity/insanity to ignore what it actually says in the Koran/Quran and choose to believe a complete and utter FORGERY instead.

There is no "Gospel of Barnabas"; there is only a very obvious FORGERY bearing that name, which Lucifer/Satan/Iblis fed to the extremely evil individual or group who wrote down his drivel, so it could be peddled to UNBELIEVERS/INFIDELS calling themselves "Muslims".

16. Wonderful teaching given by Jesus to his apostles concerning conversion from the evil life.

This now should be an example unto you; and if ye desire another ensample I will give it you, in order that ye may do all that I tell you.

'Weigh not down your hearts with earthly desires, saying: ''Who shall clothe us?" or "Who shall give us to eat?"

But behold the flowers and the trees, with the birds, which God our Lord clotheth and nourisheth with greater glory than all the glory of Solomon.

And he is able to nourish you, even God who created you and called you to his service;

who for forty years caused the manna to fall from heaven for his people Israel in the wilderness, and did not suffer their clothing to wax old or perish, they being six hundred and forty thousand men, besides women and children.

Verily I say unto you, that heaven and earth shall fail, yet shall not fail his mercy unto them that fear him.

But the rich of the world in their prosperity are hungry and perish.

There was a rich man whose incomings increased, and he said,

"What shall I do, O my soul? I will pull down my barns because they are small, and I will build new and greater ones; therefore thou shalt triumph my soul!"

Oh, wretched man! for that night he died.

He ought to have been mindful of the poor, and to have made himself friends with the alms of unrighteous riches of this world; for they bring treasures in the kingdom of heaven.

'Tell me, I pray you, if ye should give your money into the bank to a publican, and he should give unto you tenfold and twentyfold, would ye not give to such a man everything that ye had?

But I say unto you, verily, that whatsoever ye shall forgive and shall forsake for love of God, ye receive it back an hundredfold, and life everlasting.

See then how much ye ought to be content to serve God.

Philip answered:

'Master, what sayest thou? It is surely written in Isaiah that God is our father; how, then, hath he no sons?'

Jesus answered: 'There are written in the prophets many parables, wherefore thou oughtest not to attend to the letter, but to the sense. For all the prophets, that are one hundred and forty-four thousand, whom God hath sent into the world, have spoken darkly.

But after me shall come the Splendour of all the prophets and holy ones, and shall shed light upon the darkness of all that the prophets have said, because he is the messenger of God.'

And having said this, Jesus sighed and said: 'Have mercy on Israel, O Lord God and look with pity upon Abraham and upon his seed, in order that they may serve thee with truth of heart.


His disciples answered: 'So be it, O Lord our God!'

Jesus said:

'Verily I say unto you, the scribes and doctors have made void the law of God with their false prophecies, contrary to the prophecies of the true prophets of God:

Wherefore God is wroth with the house of Israel and with this faithless generation.'

His disciples wept at these words, and said:

'Have mercy, O God, have mercy upon the temple and upon the holy city, and give it not into contempt of the nations that they despise not thy holy covenant.'

Jesus answered: 'So be it, Lord God of our fathers.'

18. Here is shown forth the persecution of the servants of God by the world, and God's protection saving them.

Having said this, Jesus said:

'Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, that ye may be my disciples.

If then the world shall hate you, ye shall be truly my disciples; for the world hath been ever an enemy of servants of God.

Remember the holy prophets that have been slain by the world, even as in the time of Elijah ten thousand prophets were slain by Jezebel (@illegalbeagle ), insomuch that scarcely did poor Elijah escape, and seven thousand sons of prophets who were hidden by the captain of Ahab's host.

Oh, unrighteous world, that knowest not God!

Fear not therefore ye, for the hairs of your head are numbered so that they shall not perish.

Behold the sparrows and other birds, whereof falleth not one feather without the will of God.

Shall God, then, have more care of the birds than of man, for whose sake he hath created everything.

Is there any man, perchance, who careth more for his shoes than for his own son?

Assuredly not.

Now how much less ought ye to think that God would abandon you, while taking care of the birds!

And why speak I of the birds? A leaf of a tree falleth not without the will of God.

'Believe me, because I tell you the truth, that the world will greatly fear you if ye shall observe my words.

For if it feared not to have its wickedness revealed it would not hate you, but it feareth to be revealed, therefore it will hate you and persecute you.

If ye shall see your words scorned by the world lay it not to heart, but consider how that God is greater than you; who is in such wise scorned by the world that his wisdom is counted madness.

If God endureth the world with patience, wherefore will ye lay it to heart, O dust and clay of the earth?

In your patience ye shall possess your soul.

Therefore if one shall give you a blow on one side of the face, offer him the other that he may smite it.

Render not evil for evil, for so do all the worst animals; but render good for evil, and pray God for them that hate you.

Fire is not extinguished with fire, but rather with water; even so I say unto you that ye shall not overcome evil with evil, but rather with good.

Behold God, who causeth the sun to come upon the good and evil, and likewise the rain.

So ought ye to do good to all; for it is written in the law:

"Be ye holy, for I your God am holy; be ye pure, for I am pure; and be ye perfect, for I am perfect."

Verily I say unto you that the servant studieth to please his master, and so he putteth not on any garment that is displeasing to his master.

Your garments are your will and your love.

Beware, then, not to will or to love a thing that is displeasing to God, our Lord.

Be ye sure that God hateth the pomps and lusts of the world, and therefore hate ye the world.'

19. Jesus foretelleth his betrayal, and, descending from the mountain, healeth ten lepers.

When Jesus had said this, Peter answered: 'O teacher, behold we have left all to follow thee, what shall become of us?'

Jesus answered: 'Verily ye in the day of judgment shall sit beside me, giving testimony against the twelve tribes of Israel.'

And having said this Jesus sighed, saying:

'O Lord, what thing is this? for I have chosen twelve, and one of them is a devil.'

The disciples were sore grieved at this word; whereupon he who writeth secretly questioned Jesus with tears, saying:

'O master, will Satan deceive me, and shall I then become reprobate?'

Jesus answered:

'Be not sore grieved, Barnabas; for those whom God hath chosen before the creation of the world shall not perish. Rejoice, for thy name is written in the book of life.

Jesus comforted his disciples, saying:

'Fear not, for he who shall hate me is not grieved at my saying, because in him is not the divine feeling.'

At his words the chosen were comforted.

Jesus made his prayers, and his disciples said: 'Amen, so be it, Lord God almighty and merciful.'

Having finished his devotions, Jesus came down from the mountain with his disciples and met ten lepers, who from afar off cried out:

'Jesus, son of David, have mercy on us!"

Jesus called them near to him, and said unto them: 'What will ye of me, O brethren?'

They all cried out: 'Give us health!'

Jesus answered: 'Ah, wretched that ye are, have ye so lost your reason for that ye say:

"Give us health!"

See ye not me to be a man like yourselves. Call unto our God that hath created you and he that is almighty and merciful will heal you.

With tears the lepers answered:

'We know that thou art man like us, but yet an holy one of God and a prophet of the Lord; wherefore pray thou to God, and he will heal us.

Thereupon the disciples prayed Jesus, saying: 'Lord, have mercy upon them.'

Then groaned Jesus and prayed to God, saying:

'Lord God almighty and merciful, have mercy and hearken to the words of thy servant: and for love of Abraham our father and for thy holy covenant have mercy on the request of these men, and grant them health.'

Whereupon Jesus, having said this, turned himself to the lepers and said:

'Go and show yourselves to the priests according to the law of God.'

The lepers departed, and on the way were cleansed. Whereupon one of them, seeing that he was healed, returned to find Jesus, and he was an Ishmaelite.

And having found Jesus he bowed himself, doing reverence unto him, and saying:

'Verily thou art an holy one of God,' and with thanks he prayed him that he would receive him for servant.

Jesus answered:

'Ten have been cleansed; where are the nine?'

And he said to him that was cleansed:

'I am not come to be served, but to serve; wherefore go to thine home, and recount how much God hath done in thee, in order that they may know that the promises made to Abraham and his son, with the kingdom of God, are drawing nigh.'

The cleansed leper departed, and having arrived in his own neighborhood recounted how much God through Jesus had wrought in him.

20. Miracle on the sea wrought by Jesus, and Jesus declares where the prophet is received.

Jesus went to the sea of Galilee, and having embarked in a ship sailed to his city of Nazareth;

whereupon there was a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the ship was nigh unto sinking.

And Jesus was sleeping upon the prow of the ship.

Then drew near to him his disciples, and awoke him, saying:

'O master, save thyself, for we perish!'

They were encompassed with very great fear, by reason of the great wind that was contrary and the roaring of the sea.

Jesus arose, and raising his eyes to heaven, said:

'O Elohim Sabaoth, have mercy upon thy servants.'

Then, when Jesus had said this, suddenly the wind ceased, and the sea became calm.

Wherefore the seamen feared, saying: 'And who is this, that the sea and the wind obey him?'

Having arrived at the city of Nazareth the seamen spread through the city all that Jesus had wrought, whereupon the house where Jesus was, was surrounded by as many as dwelt in the city.

And the scribes and doctors having presented themselves unto him, said:

'We have heard how much thou hast wrought in the sea and Judea: give us therefore some sign here in thine own country.'

Jesus answered:

'This faithless generation seek a sign, but it shall not be given them, because no prophet is received in his own country.

In the time of Elijah there were many widows in Judea but he was not sent to be nourished save unto a widow of Sidon.

Many were the lepers in the time of Elisha in Judea, nevertheless only Naaman the Syrian was cleansed.'

Then were the citizens enraged and seized him and carried him on to the top of a precipice to cast him down.

But Jesus walking through the midst of them, departed from them.
