The High Priest asked - "Are you the Son of God?" , and Jesus replied "I am" (Mark 14:61)
God himself said - "This is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased" (Matt 3:17)
Therefore anybody who doesn't believe what Jesus and God said are prime candidates for-

Jesus is High Priest in the heavenly sanctuary/temple. It is in heaven not on earth.

"Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need" (Hebrews 4:14-16).

"Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens; A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man…Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount" (Hebrews 8:1-2, 5).

"But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us" (Hebrews 9:11-12).

Jesus has many names and titles in the Bible. He is:

God

Lord

I Am

Christ

Creator

Saviour

Messiah

Redeemer

Son of God

Son of man

Bread of life

King of kings

Lord of lords

The Alpha and Omega

The Mighty One

The Almighty

High Priest

Teacher

Advocate

Lamb of God

Good Shepherd

The Word

Rock

Judge

Jesus is all those names and titles and many more. Stop limiting God because you don't understand how He could become human and live on this earth as God. God can do anything remember that.

Where is the phrase "God the Son" found in Scripture?

Answer:
NOWHERE.

Where is the phrase: "God the Holy Spirit" found in Scripture?

Same answer:
NOWHERE.

If our eternal life depends on getting to know The ONLY True God (The Father), AND His Son, Christ the Saviour, as it undoubtedly does, then why don't we find ANY description of God as a "trinity", or the other two alleged parts of the trinity referred to as "God" anywhere in Scripture?

John 17:3 And THIS is Life Eternal, that they might KNOW Thee the ONLY True God, and Christ the Saviour, whom Thou hast sent.

When Jesus asked the disciples who they thought he was-
"Simon Peter said- “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.'
Jesus replied “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven" (Matthew 16:13-17)

So if Jesus was NOT the Son, why didn't he say to Peter "Wrong, try again"..:p
I never said Jesus is not the Son of God. In fact I have posted in this very thread that He is. But He is that and much much more as I've just posted above. Jesus is the eternal Son of God, and is also fully God Himself and part of the Godhead, so says the Bible, His Word. Those are the passages from the Bible that you reject though.

A priest is a MEDIATOR between God and man. And who is the one and ONLY Mediator between God and men since the Levitical priesthood was reduced from many to ONE High Priest?

1 Timothy 2:5 For [there is] ONE God, and One mediator BETWEEN God and men, the Man Jesus Christ;

Hebrews 5:5-11
5:5 So also Christ glorified not himself to be made an high priest; but he that said unto him, Thou art my Son, to day have I BEGOTTEN (CREATED) thee.
5:6 As he saith also in another place, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.
5:7 Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared;
5:8 Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;
5:9 And being MADE (CREATED) perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;
5:10 Called of God an high priest after the order of Melchizedek.
5:11 Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing.

No one is "limiting God" by sharing with you THE TRUTH that God is NOT a "trinity", nor is the Son OF God somehow equal to God the Father, particularly given that both God and His Christ told us that could NEVER happen.

What you and every other "trinitarian" NEED to do is to STOP REDEFINING GOD ACCORDING TO THE TRADITIONS OF MEN, which is idolatry and thus breaks the First and Most Important COMMANDment.

Again, here is the Godhead according to the Bible:

1 Corinthians 11:3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman [is] the man; and the head of Christ [is] God.

And from Christ, through the mouth of Jesus:

John 10:29 MY FATHER, which gave [them] me, IS GREATER THAN ALL; and no [man] is able to pluck [them] out of my Father's hand.

John 14:28
Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come [again] unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for MY FATHER IS GREATER THAN I.

John 10:30, “I and the Father are one.”
That simply means Jesus and God were singing from the same song sheet in perfect harmony like the Everly's..:)

And another thing- if Jesus was God, who was he praying to, himself?-
"Jesus went out to a mountainside to pray, and spent the night praying to God" (Luke 6:12)

John 10:30, “I and the Father are one.”
They are BOTH of ONE Mind, to do Father's Will (God's Will), just as we should be.

John 17:17-24
17:17 Sanctify them through Thy Truth: Thy Word is Truth.

17:18 As Thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.
17:19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the Truth.
17:20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe me through their word;
17:21
That they all may be one; as Thou, Father, [art] in me, and I in Thee, that they also may be one in Us: that the world may believe that Thou hast sent me.
17:22
And the glory which Thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as We are One:
17:23 I in them, and Thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that Thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as Thou hast loved me.
17:24 Father, I will that they also, whom Thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my Glory, which Thou hast given me: for Thou lovedst me BEFORE the foundation of the world.

Lol you know that is not true. Jesus, the Father and Holy Spirit are God. Yes they do everything in harmony but that does not mean they are not God as the Bible clearly says and as I've shown directly from God's word.

When Jesus was on earth He prayed to the Father as He was fully human and chose not to use His divine side. Remember He relied completely on the Father while here on earth. And He taught us how to pray to the Father through His name too.

This is the truth of God and that is that!

Don't know who the Everly brothers are nor do I care to know.

The truth from Christ, directly through the mouth of Jesus, about God:-

(with the words of Christ in blue)

John 10:29 MY FATHER, which gave [them] me, IS GREATER THAN ALL; and no [man] is able to pluck [them] out of my Father's hand.

John 14:28 Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come [again] unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for MY FATHER IS GREATER THAN I.

Matthew 27:46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, MY GOD, MY GOD, why hast Thou forsaken me? (Eno. 89:20; Psalm 22; Isaiah 52:13 to 54:1; Sura 4:157-8.)

John 20:17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto MY FATHER, and your Father; AND [to] MY GOD, and your God.

Revelation 3:12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in The Temple of MY GOD, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of MY GOD, and the name of the city of MY GOD, [which is] New Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from MY GOD: and [I will write upon him] my NEW name.

Matthew 6:9-10
6:9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be THY name.
6:10 THY Kingdom come. Thy Will be done in earth, as [it is] in heaven.

John 13:16 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; NEITHER HE THAT IS SENT GREATER THAN HE THAT SENT HIM.

References in the Gospels to Christ being sent by God(52):-
(Note well: it does NOT say God sending Himself)

Matthew (3): 10:40, 15:24, 21:37

Mark (2): 9:37, 12:6

Luke (6): 4:18, 4:26, 4:43, 9:48, 10:16, 20:13

John (41): 3:17, 3:34, 4:34, 5:23, 5:24, 5:30, 5:36, 5:37, 5:38, 6:29, 6:38, 6:39, 6:40, 6:44, 6:57, 7:16, 7:28, 7:29, 7:33, 8:7, 8:9, 8:17, 8:20, 8:33, 9:4, 10:36, 11:42, 12:44, 12:45, 12:49, 13:16, 13:20, 14:24, 15:21, 16:5, 17:3, 17:18, 17:21, 17:23, 17:25, 20:21

Jesus also referred to Himself as “the Son of Man” over 80 times, proving He couldn't possibly be claiming to be God, as Father (Who IS God) made it crystal clear He is NOT, and NEVER will be the “son of man”.

Numbers 23:19 GOD [IS] NOT A MAN, that He should lie; NEITHER THE SON OF MAN, that He should repent: hath He said, and shall He not do [it]? or hath He spoken, and shall He not make it good (i.e. God is omnipotent – Christ, by His own admission, is NOT omnipotent – John 5:30)?

Jesus referring to Himself as the “Son of Man” (at least 81 times):-

Matthew (30): 8:20, 9:6, 10:23, 11:19, 12:8, 12:32, 12:40, 13:37, 13:41, 16:13, 16:27, 16:28, 17:9, 17:12, 17:22, 18:11, 19:28, 20:18, 20:28, 24:27, 24:30, 24:37, 24:39, 24:44, 25:13, 25:31, 26:2, 26:24, 26:45, 26:64

Mark (14): 2:10, 2:28, 8:31, 8:38, 9:9, 9:12, 9:31, 10:33, 10:45, 13:26, 13:34, 14:21, 14:41, 14:62,

Luke (26): 5:24, 6:4, 6:22, 7:34, 9:22, 9:26, 9:44, 9:56, 9:58, 11:30, 12:8, 12:10, 12:40, 17:22, 17:24, 17:26, 17:30, 18:8, 18:31, 19:10, 21:27, 21:36, 22:22, 22:48, 22:69, 24:7

John (11): 1:51, 3:13, 3:14, 5:27, 6:27, 6:53, 6:62, 8:19, 12:23, 12:34, 13:31

Anyone who mistakenly thinks that Jesus is/was God is calling Christ-Jesus a liar, and is obviously working for Satan (the Opposer), as Christ told us repeatedly (at least 144 times in just the verses listed above) that He is NOT God and that His Father is His (Christ's) God, just as Father is our God.

Christ is the TRUTH (John 14:6) SENT by Father (God) IN THE FLESH (John 1:14), i.e. as the “Son of Man”. Christ is NOT a liar, as “trinitarians” and those who falsely claim Jesus is God would have you believe.

Believe Christ and the words directly from the mouth of Jesus, instead of believing in lies about Him.

In addition to over 50 references to Christ being the Son OF God (i.e. the created SPIRITUAL offspring of God), over 80 references to Jesus (the son of Mary whom Christ incarnated 2000 years ago) being the "Son of Man" (something God Himself said He could NEVER be), over 50 references to Christ being sent by God, and numerous references made by Christ that He is only a Servant of God, we have Christ's own words and example of worshiping, praying to, glorifying and giving all of the credit to Father.

In fact, there are almost 200 verses referring to Father in the Gospel accounts of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, and not one single verse referring to "the trinity" or to "the Father, Son and Holy Spirit" -- and that includes Matthew 28:19, where that wording was very obviously ADDED to the original text by the Roman Catholic church, just as they did in 1 John 5:7-8.

IF there was such a thing as a "trinity", as we find in ancient Babylonian paganism, and this is allegedly some critically important doctrine (even though it's found nowhere in the Bible), as most "Christians" have been duped into believing, then why didn't Christ ever talk about it? We have almost 200 verses below which presented a golden opportunity to promote the so-called "trinity" doctrine, and yet Christ ALWAYS gave credit instead to Father, Whom Christ plainly stated (at least 7 times) is Christ's God.

References made by Jesus in the Gospel accounts to His Father and His God:-

Matthew (42)

5:16; 5:44-45; 5:48; 6:1; 6:4-18; 6:26; 6:32; 7:11; 7:21-24; 10:17-20; 10:28-33; 11:25-27; 12:50; 13:41-43; 15:13-14; 16:15-17; 16:27; 18:10; 18:14; 18:19; 18:35; 19:16-17; 20:23; 23:9; 24:36; 25:34; 26:29; 26:39; 26:42; 26:53-54

Mark (6)
8:38; 10:17-18; 11:25-26; 13:32; 14:36

Luke (17)
1:32; 2:49; 6:36; 9:26; 10:21-22; 11:2; 12:28-32; 18:18-19; 22:29-30; 22:41-42; 23:34; 23:46; 24:49

John (134)
1:14; 1:18; 2:16; 3:34-36; 4:21-24; 5:16-47; 6:27-29; 6:32-40; 6:44-46; 6:57; 6:65; 8:7-10 (8:16-19 KJV); 8:16-23 (8:25-55 KJV); 10:14-38; 11:40-42; 12:26-30; 12:48-50; 13:1-3; 14:1-2; 14:6-7; 14:9-16; 14:20; 14:23-31; 15:1; 15:8-10; 15:15-16; 15:23-27; 16:2-3; 16:10; 16:15-17; 16:23-32; 17; 18:11; 20:17; 20:21

A few examples from the list above (for doubters, please look the rest of the verses up for yourselves):

Matthew 5:16 Let your Light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Matthew 5:44-45
5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
5:45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for He maketh His sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

Matthew 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven IS perfect.

Matthew 6:1 Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen by them: otherwise ye have NO reward from your Father which is in heaven.

Matthew 6:4-18
6:4 That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret Himself shall reward thee openly.
6:5 And when thou prayest, thou shalt NOT be as the hypocrites [ARE]: for they love to pray standing in the churches and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward (they have been seen by men, but God will not answer them).
6:6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and WHEN THOU HAST SHUT THY DOOR, pray to thy Father in private (Enoch 56:5; Sura 7:55); and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly (by answering you).
6:7 But when ye pray, use NOT vain repetitions, as the heathen [DO]: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
6:8 Be NOT ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, BEFORE ye ask Him.
6:9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be Thy name.
6:10 Thy Kingdom come. Thy Will be done in earth, as [it is] in heaven.
6:11 Give us this day our daily bread.
6:12 And forgive us our debts and trespasses (if we truly repent), as we forgive our debtors and those who trespass against us (if they truly repent).
6:13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For Thine is The Kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
6:14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
6:15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
6:16 Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
6:17 But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face;
6:18 That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly.

Matthew 6:26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?

Matthew 6:32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

Matthew 7:11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask Him?

Matthew 7:21-24
7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into The Kingdom of heaven; ONLY he that doeth the Will of my Father which is in heaven.
7:22 Many will say to me in That Day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work inequity.
7:24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and DOETH THEM, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a Rock (the Truth):

It should be self-evident from the HUNDREDS of verse posted that prove beyond any reasonable doubt that Christ-Jesus is NOT God, nor ever claimed to be, that there is no 3=1 unscriptural/unbiblical, nonsensical "trinity".

There is ONE God, exactly as Christ teaches: Christ's God and Father (The Head of Christ and the Head of us ALL), Which art in heaven.

Men may come in the garb of holiness, having error and truth mixed together, and many be deceived. Satan quoted Scripture to Christ, showing that he could use Scripture to work his deception upon minds. Those who are acquainted with their own hearts know the necessity of being closely connected with God in order to have divine wisdom to discern the wiles of Satan and to cling, with firm, unyielding grasp to Jesus. Only God forgives sin.

Psalm 51:1-2, "Have mercy upon me, O God, According to Your lovingkindness; According to the multitude of Your tender mercies, Blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, And cleanse me from my sin."

Colossians 1:14-17, "In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist."

Only God forgives sin.
Another lie.

Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spoke unto them, saying, All power is GIVEN unto me in heaven and in earth.

John 3:35 The Father loveth the Son, and hath GIVEN all things into his hand.

How could God, WHO IS ALL POWERFUL AT ALL TIMES, be given power or possessions of any kind? The power is God's to give, and He chose to give it to His Son, WHO OTHERWISE WOULD HAVE NO POWER AT ALL.

John 5:19-27
5:19 Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, THE SON CAN DO NOTHING OF HIMSELF, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever He doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.
5:20 For the Father loveth the Son, and showeth him all things that Himself doeth: and He will show him greater works than these, that ye may marvel.
5:21 For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth [them]; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will.
5:22 For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed ALL judgment unto the Son (Enoch 58:1; 60:11; 68:39) :
5:23 That all [men] should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.
5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and liveth by Him that sent me, hath Everlasting Life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from "death" unto Life.
5:25 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the "dead" SHALL hear the voice of the Son OF God: and they that hear shall Live.
5:26 For as the Father hath Life in Himself; so hath He GIVEN to the Son to have Life in himself;
5:27 And hath GIVEN him authority to execute Judgment also, because he is the Son of Man (Enoch 68:39).

Psalm 51:1-2, "Have mercy upon me, O God, According to Your lovingkindness; According to the multitude of Your tender mercies, Blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, And cleanse me from my sin."
Yep. And to whom did God give that power? To the One Whom God Anointed to be our King and Judge, and Appointed Heir to everything Father created.

As Christ said, he (Christ) had NO power, until Father (God) gave it to him (Christ), and showed Christ everything.

Yes, Jesus said this in John 5:14. And every time someone promotes the pagan 3=1 "trinity", they are breaking the First and Most Important COMMANDment (continuing to sin against God and their fellow human+Beings).

Mark 12:29-31
12:29 And Jesus answered him, The First of all the Commandments [is], Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is ONE Lord (NOT a "trinity"):
12:30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with ALL thy heart, and with ALL thy soul, and with ALL thy mind, and with ALL thy strength and serve Him ONLY: this [is] the first COMMANDment.
12:31 And the second [is] like, [namely] this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other COMMANDment greater than these.

I pray that we all accept God's Word entirely as it is because it is inspired by Him. Lets all thirst after righteousness and all be filled in Jesus' name Amen.
