While I agree it sounds ridiculous, I find it interesting that the tweeter made a connection between Communism and Islam. Communism truly could have been inspired by Islam (though Lenin and Mao really took it next level).
As the term “Islamophobia” has become a household meme, it is interesting to see how both Islam and Wokism operate much the same way as Maoism when it comes to canceling people, or claiming endless oppression and demanding special privileges for it, for some reason. (A microcosm of canceling would be how you shun anyone in this forum who disagrees with you.)
Let’s look at two extreme forms of canceling people in both Wokist culture and Muslim culture: ‘lawfare’ for Wokists, and ‘honor killing’ in Islam. Both lawfare and honour killing remove people from the public eye.
Lawfare is used by Wokists to attack their political enemies by attempting to assassinate their character—or get them locked up—so they are no longer a threat to their public image; an image wrapped around signaling their virtue over Marxist memes.
Honor killings in Islam use accusations of “blasphemy” to exact vengeance, steal property, or get back at a gal after getting spurned. (However, one caveat: the ”Muslims” claiming to be following Shariah Law by carrying out the killing are not Muslims at all. They are just thieves and low-testosterone losers.)
In the majority of episodes of both lawfare and honour killings, the attacking party uses lies and deceit to drive the public into a frenzy, resulting in extreme action carried out, from changing laws that guarantee prosecution of political enemies (no matter how illegitimate the charges), to the point of public lynching (or beheading) and burying the body in an unmarked grave so they will be forgotten by family and society.
The public that views these events, or the mob that takes part in these events, will have a collective conscience telling them they are wrong, but because of fear (for their lives or reputations), remain silent, taking no action to right the wrong that was committed. It’s sad.
It is an example why society cannot be governed without the rule of law (Interestingly, Wokists and Muslims want to replace existing laws with their own laws). If either of the extremists get their way, whatever country that is allowing their political ideologies to proliferate is in trouble.
