An impostor will do whatever they can to maintain and protect their FAKE identity. Exposing the impostor (and their agenda) is neither a "genetic fallacy" nor is it an ad hominem attack. In fact, it is you who are guilty of the ad hominem attack, because you don't like someone pointing out the obvious fact that 658 years clearly cannot be 490 years as the so-called rabbi falsely claims, because it means by default that you are promoting lies.

So yes, it absolutely is relevant that an impostor pretending to be not only a "Jew" but also an authority figure has redefined the terms used in Daniel 9 to create a false narrative/intentional misinterpretation of the verse, just as you do with the Quran.

Are you going to pretend the rabbi can count or are you going to admit he is full of it and that you promoted his nonsense without bothering to fact check anything he actually said (again, because he said what you wanted to hear, for your own selfish purposes: to maintain the division created by organized religion, particularly between Talmudic Judaism, "Christianity" and "Islam")?

Time will tell.
None of your ideological hot air will change the fact that you are imposing your own pre-ordained beliefs and views onto the text.
None of your ideological hot air will change the fact that you are choosing to be ignorant and illiterate of historical context and understandings of what the text says.

You very clearly want to point your fingers at every single thing except for what the text says, which speaks of an anointed king who will be set up to fail. You want the text to be about Jesus for ideological reasons, it is eisegesis.

Why do I have to constantly feel like I am teaching my 4 year old son how to tie his shoes, in pointing out very basic facts?

The "anointed one" is a concept that has evolved through history.
1. The first context is related to a purified priest in Levitical rituals found in the Pentateuch,
2. the second context is the wider scope of said purity in the context of various historical figures (there are many "messiahs" in the Old Testament),
3. third evolution of the concept is used as a title (in the Talmud only) to refer to some form of eschatological figure or ruler,
4. the fourth evolution of the concept is used to refer to a reinterpretation of the previous being more mythologized into a reforming character which completely disregards the first three,
5. the fifth evolution is the "godman" idolatry of Christianity with the development of the concept of "Christology" (derived from the Greek term) which is a theology related to incarnationism.

As far as the Qur'an is concerned (since you mention it), it seems to use the word closer to the sense of the second aspect of the concept's evolution.

As for ad hominems, yes your post was exactly that, likewise with the genetic fallacy. My quoted article debunked every aspect of your claim, yet you ignored it to attack "the Jews", as if your attacking of Jews and Judaism has any baring on what the text of Daniel 9 says.

None of your ideological hot air will change the fact that you are imposing your own pre-ordained beliefs and views onto the text.
Of course the exact opposite is true. It's YOU who are imposing YOUR ideological hot air and pre-ordained beliefs and views (lies, really) on the text, and on everyone else, which is exactly what this is all about.

In the evil organized religion known as Islam, which you vehemently defend, it is taught that the Bible has been corrupted and lost, despite the fact that it clearly states in the Quran, that we should NOT BE IN DOUBT of the true Bible reaching us (Sura 10:94-95, Sura 15:9, Sura 32:23).

The Quran then goes on to tell us we MUST read both The Law (Old Covenant) and the Gospel (New Covenant), found only in the Bible, no less than two dozen times.

Suras 2:53, 2:89-93, 3:1-3, 3:48-50, 4:54, 5:46-50, 6:91-92, 6:154-157, 7:157, 9:111, 11:17, 17:2-4, 21:48, 23:20, 23:49, 25:35, 28:1-3, 32:23, 35:25-32, 37:117, 40:53, 40:70, 41:45, 42:14-17, 45:16, 46:12, 46:30, 48:29, 53:36-47, 57:25-29, 61:6, 78:2

So, very clearly, it is YOU who are attempting to impose your biased and obviously erroneous views of the evil organized religion you defend, instead of believing and doing what it actually says in the Quran: be NOT IN DOUBT of the true Bible (Book) reaching YOU, including the Book of Daniel.

None of your ideological hot air will change the fact that you are choosing to be ignorant and illiterate of historical context and understandings of what the text says.
Again, the exact opposite is true, which is why you refuse to even look at or discuss what's already been shared on the passage in question (Dan. 9:24-27). Instead, you're defending a spiritually blind rabbi who is promoting obvious lies, e.g. that 658 years is somehow 490 years. All to defend your own evil organized religion, taught by its own spiritually blind imams, who are leading their unwitting(?) followers into The Fire (just as the rabbis, priests, and pastors, etc. of every organized religion are doing).

There is a 100% certainty that anyone who continues to do what you're doing, i.e. promote and defend lies (as all infidels/unbelievers do), will find themselves in The Fire on the Last Day, as it warns repeatedly throughout both the Bible and the Quran.

Why don't you help UNITE people to accept ALL of God's Message to them, and learn to keep and DO what we've been COMMANDED to do, as Daniel did, instead of continually promoting and defending such obvious lies? Do you have a death wish?

You very clearly want to point your fingers at every single thing except for what the text says, which speaks of an anointed king who will be set up to fail. You want the text to be about Jesus for ideological reasons, it is eisegesis.
You very clearly have no idea who or what the passage (Dan. 9:24-27) is about because it's NOT about Jesus, the human son of Mary; it's about the Spirit-Being known here on Earth as The Messiah (Christ/Mahdi – The Anointed ONE), Whose Name in Heaven is Michael (Who is Like God?) THE GREAT PRINCE (The Prince of princes – Dan. 8:25).

Daniel 10:21 But I will show thee that which is noted in the Scripture of Truth: and [there is] NONE that holdeth with me in these things, EXCEPT Michael your prince (Eno. 67:1; Rev. 5:3; 5; 9 & 12:7).

Daniel 12:1 And at that time shall Michael [the Archangel] (Eno. 20:5; 36:1; 40:8; 58:1; 59:9; 57:1-2; 70:4; Rev. 12:7; Sura 2:98) stand up, the Great Prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation [even] to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the Book [of Life] (Rev. 13:8; 17:8; 20:15; 21:27; Sura 83:20).

The Bible was written for spiritual-Beings, with spiritual eyes and spiritual ears, exactly as it says, which is why humans cannot understand it. Of course that's why humans continually try to discredit the Bible (including the Quran), exactly as you are doing now, and as the rabbis have been doing for at least 2600 years.

The “Jews” don't believe anything that came after the Old Covenant, while the “Christians” claim we don't have to keep The Law and that the Quran is the devil's book, and the “Muslims” claim the Bible has been corrupted or lost, so they can ignore it. Lucifer/Satan/Iblis (the Opposer) must be quite pleased with how efficiently he has been able to deceive us all, and keep us divided against each other with all of his religious superstitions and nonsense.

The verse in question clearly does NOT say The Anointed One will be set up to fail. Do you really believe God would ANOINT someone only to then set them up to fail? How ridiculous!

Why do I have to constantly feel like I am teaching my 4 year old son how to tie his shoes, in pointing out very basic facts?
Because you've given in to your own ego (the “self”) which is constantly trying to inflate itself, and con you into thinking you are smarter than everyone else, to hide its own ignorance, even the ignorance of its own arrogance.

The "anointed one" is a concept that has evolved through history.
No, it hasn't. It has remained consistent throughout history. “The Anointed ONE” (The Messiah/Christ/Mahdi) refers to the ONE chosen to teach and lead by example (John 14:6), referring to the FIRSTBORN SON OF THE KING, WHO IS HEIR TO THE THRONE.

There is ONE God: Our Creator and Heavenly Father, THE God (Allah), Whose Name is “I AM” is THE King Ruler of the Universe.

And God has ONE Firstborn Son is THE GREAT PRINCE MICHAEL (Dan. 12:1, Rev. 12:7-9), known here on Earth as “The Anointed ONE”, i.e. The Messiah/Christ/Mahdi. God is a Spirit-Being (NOT human) and so are ALL of His Children (John 4:24).

ONE Teacher (Matthew 23:10), ONE Mediator (1 Timothy 2:5), ONE Good Shepherd (John 10:11-14) and ONE High-Priest for ALL-time (Hebrews 6:20): Christ (The Anointed ONE). ONE MEANS ONE. One doesn't “evolve” into anything else.

1. The first context is related to a purified priest in Levitical rituals found in the Pentateuch,
The Levitical priesthood had already been reduced at that time to ONE High-Priest/Mediator between God and men: The Messiah/Christ/Mahdi, as confirmed in both Ezekiel 34:1-10, 23 and in Jeremiah 23:1-6. This was formalized 490 years later at the cross, when the Temple Veil rent in two, which is precisely what Daniel 9:24-27 is referencing.

2. the second context is the wider scope of said purity in the context of various historical figures (there are many "messiahs" in the Old Testament),
This too is a LIE, as there has, and always will be ONE Messiah: The Christ/Mahdi. It's THE Anointed ONE. Can you really not see how ridiculous you're being? How could there be more than one Anointed ONE?

3. third evolution of the concept is used as a title (in the Talmud only) to refer to some form of eschatological figure or ruler,
The Talmud, like its counterpart the Hadith, were written in direct violation of The Law (Deut. 4:2, 12:32), because both are the “traditions of men” which make the Commandments of God of no effect. The Anointed ONE is The Law made flesh (John 1:14). Please feel free to connect the dots.

4. the fourth evolution of the concept is used to refer to a reinterpretation of the previous being more mythologized into a reforming character which completely disregards the first three,
Total nonsense. There's nothing “mythological” about the prophecies nor the visit of Prince Michael, The Messiah/Christ/Mahdi, in the body of Jesus 2000 years ago. He's the most well-documented figure in all of human history, so everyone would take notice of what He teaches and learn from His Example.

There are consistent and repeated references to Prince Michael/Christ throughout The Law (Torah), the rest of the Old Covenant, the New Covenant and the Quran. Do you think it's an accident that there are more references (at least 187) to Jesus+Christ in the Quran than to anyone else? There isn't even a close second!

5. the fifth evolution is the "godman" idolatry of Christianity with the development of the concept of "Christology" (derived from the Greek term) which is a theology related to incarnationism.
Of course the pagan “trinity” is both openly idolatrous and blasphemous. But that is NOT what's being discussed here; we are discussing the Bible, and in particular the Book of Daniel , neither of which have anything to do with so-called Christianity or Talmudic Judaism, anymore than the Quran has anything to do with Islam. ALL organized religion was created by Satan to keep people away from God.

There is no disagreement that there is ONE God, exactly as it says throughout the Bible and Quran, just as there is ONE Anointed One/Mediator between God and men: The Messiah/Christ/Mahdi (1 Tim. 2:5). TWO SEPARATE BEINGS; One Father (God) and One Firstborn/First Created Son (Who is the Firstborn of MANYCol. 1:12-15, Rom. 8:29, Rev. 3:14). Father has NEVER been incarnated into a human (Num. 23:19), nor does He have any human sons (Sura 2:116); but He has most certainly created billions of spirit-Beings, the Eldest of which is Prince Michael. It was one Prince Michael's younger siblings and fellow Archangels – Gabriel – who gave the vision of the Quran to Mohammad.

Secondly, your human “self” is again trying to confuse the issue of reincarnation, which is an irrefutable fact taught throughout the Bible and Quran. We are unquestionably spiritual-Beings of Light who are temporarily “locked” inside of these human-animal bodies. It is the spirit-Being that goes back to our Creator after the death of the human body; the body itself—which without the spirit is a worthless lump of flesh (James 2:26)—becomes worm food.

As far as the Qur'an is concerned (since you mention it), it seems to use the word closer to the sense of the second aspect of the concept's evolution.
If the Quran is read correctly, it cannot have any different concepts than the Bible (and in truth it doesn't) otherwise it wouldn't refer its readers to the Bible. God is NOT the author of confusion (1 Cor. 14:33); Satan is.

As for ad hominems, yes your post was exactly that, likewise with the genetic fallacy.
Taken from someone who thinks the truth is a lie and that lies are the truth, you have it exactly backwards again. Does the One True God or His Anointed One commit a “genetic fallacy” by pointing out these impostors? God forbid!

Revelation 2:9 I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and [I know] the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are NOT, but [are] (Idumeans) the synagogue of Satan.

Revelation 3:9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are NOT, but do LIE (Idumeans); behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.

All of this because you cannot admit the spiritually-blind rabbi cannot count (which you've still failed to address).

My quoted article debunked every aspect of your claim, yet you ignored it to attack "the Jews", as if your attacking of Jews and Judaism has any baring on what the text of Daniel 9 says.
In your mind perhaps. The shameless counterfeit Jewish propaganda piece you posted didn't contain a single shred of truth, and was IN FACT, written by someone who, like you, is spiritually blinded by their own arrogance, as evidenced by the blatant attempt to defend their evil organized religion for their own, self-serving motivations. And of course you're the one who has ignored the fact the article couldn't even differentiate between 490 years and 658 years, proving it didn't debunk anything except itself.

Both the Bible and the Quran CONDEMN all of the spiritually-blind and deaf priests, pastors, rabbis and imams, etc., and their evil places of business, i.e. the synagogues, churches, mosques, temples, etc. because ALL organized religion was created by Lucifer/Satan/Iblis to keep people AWAY from God. That's why organized religion bears his trademark divide and conquer strategy. It's also why believing his ministers (2 Cor. 11:13-15, Sura 9:107-110), who are all LIARS (John 8:35-36) is not only completely illogical, but a guaranteed way to wind up in The Fire.

The destruction of Jerusalem was prophesied in Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21. Matthew and Mark say when you see the abomination of desolation spoken by Daniel the prophet to flee into the wilderness/mountains. Luke 21 tells us that when these things shall be, know that the desolation is nigh. The abomination of desolation here was the Roman army because they destroyed the temple, the city, and the people, making Jerusalem desolate until Israel is redeemed, and the abomination of desolation in Daniel 8 the little horn, and Daniel 11, the polluter of the sanctuary of strength who took away the daily sacrifices, was Antiochus Epiphanes.

History tells us that Antiochus IV, replaced the high priest (who is the prince of the host) Onias III, with his Hellenized brother Jason, and later replaced Jason around 171 to 170 B.C with a person not of the tribe of Levi (Menelaus of the tribe of Benjamin), stopped the daily sacrifices, defiled the sanctuary by erecting a statute of a false god in the temple, killed a pig on the altar of the sanctuary, refused the Israelites to be circumcised, and read from the scriptures the words of the God of Israel in 168 B.C. This caused the truth (word of God) to be cast to the ground. The question was Daniel 8:13-14, "Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain saint which spake, how long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, and the transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot? And he said unto me, unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed". We are not talking about the return of Jesus Christ to setup his kingdom for 1000 years, because the children of Israel were in the land, and this temple that Daniel sees is the second temple after the Babylonian captivity. Gabriel was told to make Daniel understand the vision that he saw. Gabriel told Daniel that he would make him to know what shall be in the last end of the indignation for at the time appointed the end shall be. The God of Israel had indignation against the children of Israel, because many stopped obeying his laws, wanted to be Hellenized (the young priests engaged in sports, and Jerusalem was filled with Greek styles, clothes, Greek names, Greek languages, and Greek religion and morals). In verse 23-25 , of Daniel chapter 8, the transgressors (1st John 3:4, "Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law, for sin is the transgression of the law ") are Israel, because Israel is the only nation under the laws of God and the only nation to have made a covenant with the God of Israel. The God of Israel is no respecter of person, but in every nation he that feareth him and worketh righteousness, he accepts and they are grafted into the covenant of Israel, but Israel is the only nation under the laws of God (Romans 2:12-15 , 1st Corinthians 9:19-21). When Israel’s or another nation’s iniquity comes to the full, the God of Israel will punish them; he sent Antiochus to carry out Israel’s punishment.

Daniel 9:26

26And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.

Christ is our Messiah and His death ended the Levitical sacrifices for sin. He came not for himself, but to restore the lost sheep of Israel and later for the other sheep who were not part of Israel, the grafted Gentiles. Then after His death, the destruction of Jerusalem came in 70 AD. The people of the prince (and the prince is satan), who will destroy in Daniel 9:29, refers to the Roman army, because they destroyed the city, Jerusalem, and the sanctuary, the temple.

Revelation 12 describes the destruction of Jerusalem. The great dragon in Revelation 12:3-4 is satan and the third of the stars of heaven satan threw to the earth were the children of Israel, not the third of the angels. God calls His people the “hosts of the Lord” (Exodus 12:40-41, Numbers 2)and the twelve stars represent the twelve tribes of Israel. Ezekiel 5:12 mentions how a third of Israel shall be killed by the sword, die by famine, and be scattered into the wind. This scripture prophecised 70 AD because after the destruction those who escaped were taken into captivity or “scattered to the wind” and sent to the four corners of the earth.

Satan was cast out of heaven completely in the war with Michael (Revelation 12:7-10), when Christ died on the cross. “Now is the judgment of this world come, now shall the prince of this world be cast out,” (John 12:31). Through the death and blood of Jesus, Satan could no longer accuse the people before God, Jesus freeing us from the curse of death satan brought to all mankind by tempting Adam and Eve.

Christ warned his disciples during His ministry that the city would be destroyed and there shall not be one stone left of the temple (Matthew 24:1-4). The end of the Jerusalem “shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined”. The desolations determined are upon the people and the land because Jerusalem will lie wasted and the people, scattered. Once the end of Jerusalem came, Israel became desolate. Their glory and name ceased from amongst the nations (Psalm 83). They would abide many days without a priest or without a sacrifice (Hosea 3:4) until the coming of Jesus who will restore them to their glory, making them priests again to fulfill their duty to teach the other nations.

Isaiah 62: 1-4

1For Zion's sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth.

2And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the LORD shall name.

3Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the LORD, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God.

4Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzibah, and thy land Beulah: for the LORD delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married.
