:) I am sorry for misreading ''of'' instead of ''for'' but I am still glad I got a goodhearted laugh. Now it makes more sense that Tolstoy doesn't think for you since he's not that much of a model for you.

I greatly respect the man and his work and philosophy, but I don’t base everything off of a Tolstoy litmus test.

I wish I knew as much about past geniuses. There's just too much to learn and not enough time. But God Willing though, God Willing.
Maybe one day all people will have the time to just study philosophy and history. My own personal afterlife would be an infinite library beyond the concept of time, with a fireplace and a cat of course

Here is a quote for you.

“How far you go in life depends on your being tender with the young,
compassionate with the aged,
sympathetic with the striving
and tolerant of the weak and strong.
Because someday in your life you will have been all of these.”

Perhaps.

When the union's inspiration through the workers' blood shall run
There can be no power greater anywhere beneath the sun
Yet what force on earth is weaker than the feeble strength of one
But the union makes us strong

Solidarity forever
Solidarity forever
Solidarity forever
For the union makes us strong

It is we who plowed the prairies; built the cities where they trade
Dug the mines and built the workshops, endless miles of railroad laid
Now we stand outcast and starving, midst the wonders we have made
But the union makes us strong

Tolstoy actually followed the teaching of Christ and had no hatred for Muslims (or anybody) in his heart.

I'm sorry if I came across hostile here. This came after I liked a JoChris post regarding Islam, and seeing as I am the only person who gives a fuck about Tolstoy here, I know you wanted me to see it.

“Happiness does not depend on outward things, but on the way we see them.” –

Thank you and that means much. Every system has moral and immoral people and the immoral ones are in control around the world unfortunately. Thanks.

I’m convinced of this: Good done anywhere is good done everywhere. For a change, start by speaking to people rather than walking by them like they’re stones that don’t matter. As long as you’re breathing, it’s never too late to do some good.”

Once born into childlike faith, brimming with belief, typical people begin to lose their faith. Society mocks them. Their friends smirk. They come to change the world, but over time the world changes them. Soon they forget who they were; they forget the faith they once had. Then one day someone tells them the truth, but they don’t want to go back, because they’re comfortable in their new skin. Being a stranger in this world is never easy.
