I watched this discussion a couple days ago which was filmed prior to The UK & US attacking Yemen. It’s about an hour and half but I think Sami makes some good points with regards to how things will progress in the coming months. He also discusses America’s secret support for The Houthis and how although they were hesitant to attack them, Netanyahu has pressured Biden and wants a regional war to allow for the global support of his tyranny in Gaza. Netanyahu believes the only way he can save his political career and win the world over, is by provoking the Houthis to declare ‘jihad’ and start a holy war. Nothing justifies genocide more than rabid Muslims fighting to eradicate Jews in the Middle East (!)

We should always take political commentators with a pinch of salt as we don’t know what team they’re secretly batting for or if they’re plants. They’re also making general but educated guesses. Sami was adamant Biden wouldn’t attack Yemen but they have…

However, I do enjoy the different perspectives and discussions political commentators bring. I do think he’s quite knowledgeable as well with regards to what the current interests of nations like Saudi and Turkey are and how this affects the Palestinian genocide.

While I'm not sure it's mentioned in the interview you've posted here with Chris Hedges, Miko Peled points out with Owen Jones that this is how the Palestinians' apartheid is much worse than South Africa's because the South Africans depended on blacks for their labour and would explain how the apartheid eventually ended. In Palestine, the unemployment rate is somewhere around 70% and Israel is not dependent on them working, which makes this a MAJOR humanitarian crises:

I'm sure the American missiles are at least $1 million each, while the Houthis have drones that cost $100-200 a pop.

The US war machine is a dinosaur that has not kept up with the times. A multi-billion dollar aircraft carrier can be sunk with an army of cheap drones costing less than $20k.
