The 1977 version has Donald Sutherland in it.Yeah, I like the '56 version and don't know if I have seen the '77 version.
BOTH the US version (this one) and the UK version.
A lot of Young Adult (YA) based books and movie adaptations touch on some interesting themes. The books in particular were more overt, the films were quite watered down.
