does anyone else feel like nowadays kpop groups become famous for just being korean? kpop groups now don't become famous because the members are good singers, have talent, or are genuinely in it for the artistry (and don't get me wrong, this was the case for some old kpop groups, but it has gotten way severe). i've been thinking back on how ppl (specifically americans) used to react to 1st/2nd gen kpop and they always attacked the unique/flashy/interesting/fresh concepts that made kpop, well, kpop. and the entire kpop industry started becoming ashamed of what made kpop unique. yea, time has passed, preferences and trends have changed, but literally no groups are doing anything groundbreaking anymore. i feel like f(x) was the last gg that took risks and shinee were the last bg to take risks before jh died. the remaining 2nd gen groups have gone downhill because everyone's scared, everyone's playing it safe. hot topic cheap shein concepts for ggs and macho alpha concepts for bgs. and i feel like a lot of the blame is because of bts lmao. a bunch of companies basically found out that all it takes are some conventionally pretty koreans in a group to make profit, to draw allll the koreaboos and femboy fetishizers in, and dedicating any time towards the quality of the music or concepts is just a waste of time.
p.s. 0new's japanese debut single life goes on or something sucks i bet it took 30 minutes to write that shit

The story I've heard is that his family found him a few days before his death because he wrote a letter to them. They felt worried and checked up on him. Is that made up? I was surprised too. We keep family heirlooms and pictures to remind us of our family and friends. It's like they didn't want anything to remind them.

It's hard to find older info. Companies sue to get it removed or fans harass others and they close accounts or make it private. I'm worried about him, but there's nothing I can do but pray. Even though I'm not religious, I still pray sometimes.

He gives off virgin or inexperienced energy. Where did he learn to channel his inner hoe on stage? Is this something he's made to do, or a way to break free of the baby image?

Before enlistment he was vocal that he didn't want to go and was scared. He probably broke down before the fan meet and they cancelled it. Tae hasn't been ok for a long time. I learned about him when he was crying on a live and someone posted about it elsewhere. Then his service was changed and we learned about his medications, diagnosis and what he went through. I hate to think it went further than staring in the shower, but it's so common.
The story we have heard is that he gave his friend Nine9 a suicide note 10 days before he died and this note was shown to his mother and sister as well. The mother and sister both went to his last concerts on 9 and 10th December 2017 probably to monitor him or talk him out of it. He sent his sister a goodbye message 1-2 hours before he died and Sodam called the police to try to stop him but didn't go to the apartment herself but the police took a long time to arrive at the apartment he was staying in. Some members have said in the past that the way Sodam and his mother acted was strange and that Sodam should've run towards the apartment herself in a situation like that.

People can be virgins while still having knowledge about all the dirty stuff. They live in an industry where this dirty stuff is everywhere so no one is pure no matter how hard they claim. The choreographers make them do suggestive dance moves, stylists dress them up in sexualized outfits, their fans make thirst tweets about them all the time and they still have to sleep around and provide services to the elites' just to debut. I am sure T@e has had to give services to men even if he claims he is pure. Still he shouldn't have said it on national TV like that because it will come back to bite him if he gets caught going to bars or in a ch3n like situation.

Well 90% of the updates we got from people who saw him in the military were about how he's so pretty and handsome and cute I swear Koreans don't care about anything other than how an idol looks and I bet there were creeps in the military trying to invade his privacy. Male Sasaengs were also bothering B@ekhyun during his training period but B@ekhyun was in a different branch and a soldier told that he was provided a separate bathroom to protect his privacy and I am pretty sure Gdragon got a VIP room for himself too. Wonder why they didn't do something like that for T@e I guess the branch he went to was pretty strict.

People said Chany3ol at first but he's in the military so probably not him. It's Nam joo hyuk or Dan1el or it could be both. Ka1 gets into dating scandals but never heard of him being rude or arrogant
In a country where your attitude and reputation are everything, why be rude? They're risking a lot visiting places as an idol or an actor.

How strange they didn't run to him, or find a way to keep him in a hospital for treatment. Essem has a bad reputation for not caring about their artist's mental health, so not surprised they didn't send him on hiatus. When he died, essem took everything down and acted like he never existed. His members weren't able to grieve by talking about him. I didn't know about his family's reaction. Maybe they thought he wasn't going to do it? Everything about his death is suspicious.

Imagine if SK ruled the world. Everyone would be obsessed with small faces, cute idols and even more miserable. I'm not trying to be racist, just pointing out how miserable people act there. Anyone who can leaves, and the rest are stuck in a Blade Runner hellscape.

He's small, cute, has feminine body language, is famous and was unprotected in the military. Someone probably tried to violate or get into his space. There were reports on the type of juice he drinks, how he washes dishes, his personality and mental health. He's worked a lifetime to build up his privacy. Tae is notoriously private and that was taken away from him. Though it's not the same, it reminds me of when MJ was strip searched and someone leaked the news about his body. I can see similarities in his they both whitened their skin or started to resemble white people, took too many meds, were very feminine and obsessed with their art. I hope he can avoid the same end as MJ. 5hawols and Taem1nts would be devastated.

The feminization happened to other male idols during that time too heechu1 and j@ej00ng are examples from his own company and Nuest's Ren is another one who was feminised. He was also the maknae of the group It seems like with Ren the agenda worked because I heard about him playing drag in a musical or drama and he's played drag or dressed like women for fun in the past. Most people only remember T@e from that generation because he is the most famous among male idols to have gone through it and he's the one who made a whole fuss about it while most other idols were more accepting of it. And even before T@e it happened with Gdragon he wasn't feminised but he's known for wearing genderless clothes and some knetz used to drag him for being a Pretty boy. GD even talks about this in one of his songs

0new has had issues in the past but sh@wols don't know what he went through because it's all rumors and observations. He was sidelined often in interviews because jj0ng was more leader like. During sherlock promos there were rumors about him wanting to leave the industry that same period he was reported to have been in a fist fight with jj0ng and for the entirety of Sherlock promo sh1nee members were acting distant towards him and 2012 is also the time where rumors about self-harm and suicide attempts surfaced. He was part of milk club for depressed Essem idols as well. However, in 2013 things just went back to normal between sh1nee members then there was the scandal in 2017 after that jj0ng's unfortunate passing and many sh@wols became worried about 0new because knetz were blaming him for jj0ng's unfortunate passing saying jj0ng died because of 0new's scandal bringing shame to Sh1nee's reputation. After that they did TSOL promos and 0new went to the military. Post military he seems to be doing better but during bistro de sh1nee last year he was zoning our when they played a VCR containing clips with jj0ng and us woke sh@wols are worried he maybe hiding his trauma behind d the sunshine persona
He's hiding behind his happy personality. Watching interviews, he's usually zoning out or acting weird. There was an interview around his birthday when he was out of it. The members thought it was strange, and the hosts laughed it off.

Groups have an official leader and a real leader. In btees I'm not sure who the real leader is, but it's Yj in t×t. Shinee's real leader was Jjong and his personality outshined the others. Even Tae was in his shadow. K3y and M8nho were the only ones who didn't complain. Were they close?

A lot of the time, the feminine members are gay. Ren is probably gay and was made fun of for wearing makeup outside of group activities. His members used to sexually harass him and got on his nerves. On the other hand, they seemed to genuinely like him too. Gdra9on has gay rumors, so does Jm, and Heech4l.

A lot of celebrities are rich, arrogant and spoiled people. I bet 50% of idols aren't exactly polite, kindhearted, honourable people as they like to show in front of cameras. So when the cameras are off they real personality is at full display

Yeah 0new is deeply traumatised but has to act like he's happy because he is the leader. In most groups the leader has to act like an anchor of support for other members but 0new needs a break all of them need a break. Maybe making K3y or minho the leader would be better.

I didn't know ren was sexually harassed for it. He likes dressing in drag and wear makeup I think he was one of the few idols who are genuinely gay. Gdragon has gay rumors but he's also been caught with women in several scandals. Heechu1 too sasaengs said his relationship with momo was real. I found their relationship to be weird because of the age gap I wonder if he was her sponsor. Jm could be gay or bi but bt5 members always say he's the biggest pervert among them so maybe he likes both men and women

kpop is definitely a joke nowadays everyone in the west who isnt a fan is tired of it being shoved down their throats but are too afraid to admit it because of how fucking psycho the fans are. and i agree alot of girl groups are just following the trends nowadays and wearing the same fits while boy groups are trying hard to act touch. the quality of the music is definitely declining as well

That makes sense. They fear and love jh, while no one really likes Rm. I think he has two members that like him, while everyone loves Jh. He's the dance teacher and he made them practice hard for the Megan the Stallion Remix. Past the point of exhaustion, and even Jm was ready to collapse.

Jm is a huge pervert. He has anime statues of women in sexual poses. At an event, he told college students he liked drunk and alone women.

Have either M2nho or k3y tried to step up and be the leader? Heech4l is like most men in his culture, so it was surprising but also not really. He probably sponsored her and has the connections to do it. Ren lived how he wanted and he's very talented. His members would bother him even when he wanted to stop.

Most people show who they are when out of the public. I've never seen so many rotten people since I got into kpop. Now it's so bad,I think everything idols say is a lie and they're being held in the basement lol. More people need to expose them so the industry can change.

Not to sound rude but i think that country is definitely overrated like that country has several problems like high living standard fertility students study like 12hrs.but people are looking at that country like it is best place on earth just by watching k-pop and drama. I don't know what that country did but people obsessed with that race. I saw many comments like I want go Korea live there. People are hating thier own country it makes me sick. Recently a vedio released in that many foreigners are saying how they got druged and raped and no one did anything. They said police can't do justice for them because they are foreigners. I saw a comment that a old women literally throwed kimchi at a man in bus just because he is foreigner and no one said anything. I think that elites choose that country because of number of shaman and cult. Like cult have a separate district in that country
