IRELAND'S Eurovision entry

Did anyone else see Ireland's entry to this years competition tonight? So blatantly demonic. I prayed that it didn't get through to the final but it did and loads more people will witness a satanic ritual all over again.

Hate to break it to you, nobody has been paying attention to her at home. A lot have complained about the act and she is not being played on radio. Plus she wasn't even the performer their national broadcaster wanted to send in the first place. I was there and they were heavily promoting another girl, someone far less contentious. Otherwise I would be delighted if she won. It would mean the end of the national station since they are bankrupt. A win would finish them off because they are all left-wing champagne socialists who keep trotting out the same old tired party lines. Eurovision is little more than an overpriced karaoke session.

I didn't bother with it. Reading about the protests and bullying the Israeli singer and heckling the EBU team repulsed me. Frankly the show jumped the shark after Madonna. She was surplus to requirements that year. Personally a medley of Broadway hits from top Jewish composers would be more fitting and in keeping within the show's brief for the interval.
But Palestine isn't a sovereign state, is not in the EBU like Russia and Ukraine. The circumstances didn't fully allow for the expulsion of Israel and the artist was already disciplined before.
And as much as I find Netanyahu's actions reprehensible against ordinary Palestinians, the behaviour of the far left protestors both outside and within was idiotic and insulting. The couldn't leave politics at the door for one night of the year for a light entertainment show.
My cousin also said that outside US rap chart music, MK Ultra isn't a thing here at all. Guess labels can't be bothered going after third rate country artists which is what people are actually listening to.
