here you go:First of all, most people in Europe have been disarmed. Secondly, we are all aware that American police, but not just American police, certain American communities too, are more trigger happy than in most European countries.
But there's no point in acting like these protests revolve primarily around police brutality. They revolve around racism. To connect these two and turn police brutality against citizens into racial oppression, you need data and evidence to back up the claim that (white) police officers disproportionately discriminate against black people. That data doesn't exist. In fact, most data that includes the race of officers involved in fatal shootings seems to show that black and hispanic cops, but especially black cops, pull the trigger more often.

Read the following text underneath to get more info about race relations between officers and shot civilians.
If these numbers are correct or at least to a high degree, than the narrative about white cops shooting blacks deserves to be muted, because not only is it a lie, it's doing a lot of harm.

“Conversely, class 6 (low threat, likely unarmed), which are LIH characterized by an apparent absence of force used by the victim, is the only class in which the plurality of victims is a non-white race (black, non-Hispanic). This finding comports with prior LIH research that finds that black Americans are not only disproportionately likely to be killed by law enforcement but are disproportionately unlikely to present an objective threat of deadly force (as measured both directly by mention of use of force by victim in incident narratives and by proxy through victim’s armed status)”
