GOD'S GRACE THROUGH FAITH REQUIRES A LAW THAT DEFINES THE SINS TO BE FORGIVEN.

I have been told that we don't need to keep the Law anymore because we're under Grace. But according to God's Word, Grace is not a license to sin. I don't think people who claim this think this through. Would it be okay if I stole your car, shot your dog, and run off with your wife because I'm under Grace? Quite the contrary! Romans 3:31 puts it this way: "Do we then make void the law through faith? Certainly not! On the contrary, we establish the law."

What enables a truly converted Christian to follow the pattern of God's Law?

“I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts” (Hebrews 8:10).

“I can do all things through Christ” (Philippians 4:13).

“God did by sending His own Son … that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us” (Romans 8:3-4).

Answer: Christ not only pardons repentant sinners, He also restores in them the image of God. He brings them into harmony with His law through the power of His indwelling presence. “Thou shalt not” becomes a positive promise that the Christian will not steal, lie, murder, etc., because Jesus lives within us and is in control. God will not change His moral law, but He made a provision through Jesus to change the sinner so we can measure up to that law.

It should be self-evident that if someone truly has God's Laws written upon their hearts and minds, they WILL be keeping The Law out of genuine Love for God and for their neighbors (everyone else on Earth).

Mark 12:29-31
12:29 And Jesus answered him, The First of all the Commandments [is], Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord (NOT a "trinity"):
12:30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength and serve Him ONLY: this [is] the first COMMANDment.
12:31 And the second [is] like, [namely] this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other COMMANDment greater than these.

Further, it should likewise be self-evident, that when this world is reduced to only those who truly have God's Laws written upon their hearts and minds, there will be no need for organized religions of ANY kind, as everyone will KNOW The One TRUE God AND His First-Created and Anointed Son, whom God sent.

Jeremiah 31:31-34
31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the "I AM", that I will make a New Covenant with the House of Israel, and with the House of Judah:
31:32 Not according to The Covenant that I made with their fathers in the day [that] I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; My Covenant which they broke, although I was an husband unto them, saith the "I AM":
31:33 But this [shall be] The Covenant that I will make with the House of Israel; After those days, saith the "I AM", I will put My Law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be My people.
31:34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the "I AM": for they shall ALL know Me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the "I AM": for I will forgive their inequity, and I will remember their sin no more.

John 17:3 And THIS is Life Eternal, that they might KNOW Thee the ONLY True God, and Christ the Saviour, whom Thou hast sent.

Mark 1:14-15
1:14 Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of "The KINGDOM" of God,
1:15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and "The KINGDOM" of God is at hand: REPENT ye, and believe the gospel.

Romans 3:23-25
3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
3:24 Being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
3:25 Whom God hath fore-ordained [to be] an atonement through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins THAT ARE PAST, through the forbearance of God;

John 5:14 Afterward Jesus findeth him in The Temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: SIN NO MORE, lest a WORSE thing come unto thee.

John 14:15 If ye love me, KEEP my COMMANDments.

1 John 2:1-5
2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
2:2 And he is the atonement for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for [the sins of] the whole world.
2:3 And hereby we do know that we know him, IF we keep His Commandments.
2:4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth NOT His Commandments, is a LIAR, and the truth is NOT in him.
2:5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.

Christ's sacrifice on the cross was to pay for our PAST sins, NOT to grant anyone the freedom to sin with impunity.

Sinning is breaking God's Law, which anyone that is truly born again of God should be keeping and enforcing.

1 John 3:4-11
3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also The Law: for sin is the transgression of The Law.
3:5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our (past) sins; and in him is no sin.
3:6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.
3:7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he (Christ) is righteous.
3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the Beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for His seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
3:10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever DOETH NOT righteousness is NOT of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.
3:11 For this is the message that ye heard from the Beginning (Alpha), that we should love one another.

Titus 1:16, "They profess to know God, but in works they deny Him, being abominable, disobedient, and disqualified for every good work."

Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.

His covenant is for our generation. How come some Christians are still saying the Law of God is abolished?

Jeremiah 31:33, "But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Hebrews 10:16, "This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them."

"The same law that was engraved upon the tables of stone is written by the Holy Spirit upon the tables of the heart. Instead of going about to establish our own righteousness we accept the righteousness of Christ. His blood atones for our sins. His obedience is accepted for us. Then the heart renewed by the Holy Spirit will bring forth "the fruits of the Spirit." Through the grace of Christ we shall live in obedience to the law of God written upon our hearts."

Not all of them of course. Some of them and some denominations do too which is contrary to the Word of God.
