I completely agree with you, but I think once we acknowledge and comes to terms with that, we can open our heats and minds to what we're really dealing with. Although, I'd refrain from calling them "top elites". They're not at the top of anything, as they've earned their spot(s) in society by lying, stealing and killing innocent people so essentially, they're just rich criminals.
The reasoning behind calling them that is due to the fact that I feel it's an insult. I don't think highly of anyone that would be elite. Plus also they would be called new world order, I suppose.
You could call them that. However, it should be noted that New World Order attempts are not new. The same video I referenced with Matt Ehret in the "Grand Jury" trial, he said they've tried it before and have been unsuccessful. Here's a screenshot:

I never suggested we should become apathetic. I'm merely pointing out that Harper and Trudeau, while they have different handlers, their repressive tactics towards journalists and reporters remain the same.
That was interesting to watch and listen to. I recall sensing something was amiss when I asked my Métis friend who lives here in Ontario, who is heavily involved in the Aboriginal community(ies), if they knew anything about the mass graves found in British Columbia. They just replied, "Only what I've heard on the news..." Granted, I'm not sure if they know anyone in BC, or what they say is the gospel, but for them not to expound on the issue, I left it at that. To think that 48 churches were burned as a result of this "story":
