What was it about what he said that made you conclude his conversion was fake?
Not on about your video, but the one the other guy posted. There was a series of those videos that were very blatantly fake. I recall the likes of ergun caner being in them.
The way they tell the story or reference aspects of islam with what is clearly the wrong terminology or completely made up arabic sounding words exposes them.

This channel broke down quite a few of those videos

I do believe the stories of conversions to islam from Christianity are legit. There are far too many and they are personal without agendas. The otherway round, most of them are legitimately fake.

The way that dude said Muhammad in the first video was so not Arabic looool.
I’ve been taking Arabic lessons now for the past 4 months (since August) and I know that guy is lying because every Arab pronounces the most popular name in the world (Muhammad) the same way. Not the way the guy in the video does.

I’m calling it out as fake.

Guy takes 4 months of Arabic and he's an expert. Haha. It's hilarious to me that apparently to Muslims it's impossible to convert to Christianity I wouldn't even begin to think that as a Christian. This isn't logical or rational it's cognitive dissonance. You really are a silly lot.

You’re right, it doesn’t. But it does give me insights.

No Arabic speaking person pronounces the prophet of Islam’s name the way that faker in the first vid does.

look at you tho! On a truther website spreading lies.
No one lied more than Muhammad, now go and watch the sun set in the mud lol

I don't have time for a 16 minute video, but he does raise a good question in the beginning. Why would a Muslim become Chrisitan?

It reminds me of Nabeel Qurashi who left Islam to become a Christian apologist and sadly died upon those beliefs. I think we all know the story here, Nabeel was an ahmadi, a sect that puts up x-mas trees every year. Those Muslims who think Jesus already returned. This man, their prophet literally died on a toilet. Clearly the Almighty wanted to disgrace him.

Along the same lines i have several co-workers who claim to be Muslim. One never prays, to be honest I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't know how. Another uses more foul language then an x rated film. Some Muslims are strong in deen, with a light as bright as the sun. Others barely have a candle.

I can continue giving examples and expand on this but it all comes down to one thing. Huda. Guidance.

There are more then a few alleged ex-Muslims out there. Apostate prophet is a popular one. While the majority of these people are fake (looking to get paid) the truth is people don't leave Islam. The Almighty simply takes away there iman.

@Red Sky at Morning I do find it interesting you only ever focus on Islam and never bring us examples of Hinduism, Buddhism, ect. Its kinda like Islam alone is thee thorn in your side. As i often say, the devil only have one enemy... and that is pure monotheism.

Those God guides can not be lead astray, those he leaves behind have no hope.

Thank you for your reply @Daze -

I actually noticed this on the Islamic Videos thread posted up by @grateful servant a few days ago…

As I am interested in why people believe what they do, I happened to click on the story of the Arab Christian I posted up in this thread. It was what he said that caught my attention, not who he was.

As to why I post on Islam, one of the reasons is that I feel closer to a thought process with a “western” approach to logic “A is not Non-A” than the “both, and…” of eastern thought. I find that the application of logic to Gnosticism, Hinduism, Buddhism etc is like trying to wrestle fog.

I did watch a very good one where an Indian Christian shared the Gospel with a Maharishi btw. Sometimes it takes something miraculous to cut through the fog.

@epistemix’s channel (scimitar, I believe?) speaks out an atheistic materialism and I often find myself in agreement with his points on this subject. He also critiques Christianity. As one of the critiques is a reflection of the claims of higher critics who denigrate the preservation of the Biblical text, I found it produced a very interesting course of study for me!

Why do I critique Islam? Perhaps because I have a liking for the descendants of Abraham. I reject Rabbinic Judaism as a corruption of the message of the OT. I also reject the revisionist message of the Qur’an BUT I do like both Jews and Arabs very much (and so does Jesus!).

But you don't know upon which belief anybody died, or do you?

Thanks for your query and reply.

A reply can be a query at the same time.

Or a question can be a query and a reply at the same time.

Or daze can be rsam at the same time and vice versa since I was addressing myself to her or him to begin with.

Anyway what I meant was that nobody knows other than God who dies as a good or a bad person.

On a funner note.

What i found interesting was your video had 4k subs and over 100k views in like 2 weeks. Clearly many people are sharing it.

Are Christians today desperate for this kind of vindication? See if you can find a video of a Christian converting to Islam (@DesertRose has an entire thread dedicated to this). It doesn't get near the attention. Kinda like its become normal.

Truth is I could show you many Christians converting to Islam (i am one, remember?) but i digress. Once again i never watched your video. I have no desire to "debunk" it. Problem is there are many weak Muslims out there who don't know their deen, especially today, which is prophecy fulfilled.

Such as i mentioned Nabeel above, a Muslim setting up an x-mas tree. A clear pagan symbol meant for a day that celebrates sun (not son) worship. That is the winter solstice, the birth of the sun.

I've mentioned this before, Christianity is full of paganism. From Easter to your triune god, all of it has pagan roots. Anyone willing to do the research will find these facts undeniable.

I am not bothered by your video Red. Islam will continue to grow and why is this?

It is He who has sent His Messenger with guidance and the religion of truth, that
He may make it superior to all religions. (48:28)

Because the Almighty wills it Red.

Indeed, there is no god But God and Jesus was His servant and His messenger.

The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified
his servant Jesus. (Acts 3:13)

There is no revisionist message in Islam. If there was there would be no such thing as Unitarian Christians. Just some.. have lost the plot.
