for another one to die?
Not going to lie, I had a bad feeling two days ago that something bad was going to happen in KPOP ... AGAIN. I had the same feeling for months before Jonghyun died. I had a weird dream too. But anyway, I'm not going to take things into a spiritual turn because I know we all have different beliefs here and I'd like to avoid offending anyone as much as possible.

But, I wouldn't be surprised if another idol dies. When the Ladies Code member died, a trainee from one of those survival programs committed suicide soon after too. So, I wouldn't be surprised if the die in 2s (like hollywood celebs die in threes lol)

That was my introduction to KPOP and a weird one too. Three deaths in such a short period of time was weird.
I really hope of this forum could be more open to share different kinds of opinions

but any way, I believe there is another sacrifice in KPOP, I read that Jin from BTS is going to be sacrificed, not sure when though, it could take years or months, but it seems Kpop certainly would have more sacrifices

BTS' V chosen as number 1... I'm getting sick and tired of this fake promotion of BTS. Both sides just leech off one another. And their fans once again will say they chose him because he's just handsome.
Also I'm sure Taehyung's stage name V is not a coincidence. It has to be related with the fifth age. It's everywhere in the media and in kpop everyone does it just a cute sign.

Oh well hello... it's almost 2 am in my country lol and I've been literally digging this thread for the last hour or so. I've come to a place of feeling desperate, because I never thought that since being born-again in Christ, leaving kpop behind is one of the most difficult things for me to do. I've grown so attached, and they purposely make you addicted to their personalities, making you believe that somehow you KNOW them. Coincidentially or not, the moment I was introduced to kpop, my darkest period in my life started. I got seriously depressed and anxious, having panic attacks on a daily basis. Funny enough, the only thing that would make me be kinda 'alive' was kpop! nothing else made me feel better. So if I didn't have kpop, I would have no escape for my growing mental illness.
Now I'm way better, without any depression or anxiety left, by grace of God, but now I realize the hold kpop has in me, and it's not normal. It's not something that you just simply like, it becomes your whole life. In my opinion it's even worse than western music. In kpop you have so much more things to get attached to, and constantly seeing these idols being feminized really messes with your mind. I cannot tell you how many people I met in the kpop fandom who are changing their gender identity on a daily basis. I was one of them.
Anyways sorry to ramble I just wanted to share my experience with kpop and its influences. God bless you all!!

LOL at that "The 100 Most Handsome Faces of 2017", they just have to put BTS everywhere. I am almost convinced that the video was made to please BTS' fans if I didn't take a look at their profile, so basically TC Candler is an organization that releases an annual list of the most beautiful and handsome faces in the world http://www.coventrytelegraph.net/news/uk-world-news/tc-candler-most-beautiful-faces-14089303?service=responsive based on surveys. Well, what's the point?

Thanks for sharing about the Fifth Age, the first time I heard about it.
If it's based on surveys we know armys won't sleep to go and vote. But if they didn't they would still choose him because it'd bring them subscribers and more money.
You're welcome. I think there was another name of the Fifth Age but I can't remember it. You can look up nicholson1968's channel on Youtube(I put the link in the first post here). He puts some really interesting things!

Welcome to our thread! :)
I understand you completely. I was addicted to it before and I spent way too much time on checking almost every debut kpop/k hip hop/rock band/artist. Thankfully, I'm not a teen anymore and see things as they are now. tbh, I can't listen to it anymore. I'm tired of the lies and the whole satanic influence in all of its aspects. It's funny how it was all starts "innocent" but it keeps going down the rabbit hole. I'm glad God put me out of it as well! We need to expose those lies to the others! God bless you too!

I agree with you guys. Since they can't seem to infiltrate our minds with weeds, drugs, or satanic music (that's blatantly satanic), so they take the sweetest way to blind us. The purpose is not to make you feel addicted to one particular thing, rather they want you to spend less time with God, until less becomes no more. I am not Christian but I feel the same way about Kpop. It's somehow dark and deluding in a way that you don't even realize that you're being lured into the darkness. When you're obsessing over Kpop (also Kdramas and basically any kind of entertainment), you can reach the point where you don't care about your own self and your surroundings, let alone about God. Obsessive Kpop fans always have their own bubbles that shield them from the outer world. They will do anything for Kpop, heck, they will kill for Kpop. Remember the stories about sasaeng fans? That's just too horrible. If you disagree with their point of view, they will do anything to prove you wrong. Also, notice how music awards such as MAMA has become a battle ground for the fandoms?

I agree with frozenrose, I am glad we're past that stage. I remember having a senior who told me that when I reach the age of 20 something, I will no longer focus on this kind of thing and I am glad it happened cause many are still blinded.

L-O-L. V is cute but not the most handsome man in the world. he isn't even the cutest/most handsome male idol in kpop. Places on those lists can easily be bought and swayed by fans opinions and companies money. Bighit has alot of money to throw around and probably bought V the number 1 place on the list.

What do you guys think about Monsta-X? I actually went to their concert also because of my sister. I was at front row sitting on side so I saw them really close.
I'm a fan of them, they're actually the only reason why I don't drop kpop all together. Unfortunately, their X Clan concept shows so much witchcraft/satanic rituals: All In shows the group drinking a blue liquid from a cup and making weird faces, acting like they're being altered by this liquid. In Fighter, you clearly see poor Kihyun dragging a dead body with him, he's delivering it to the head of the clan. Only after that he's accepted into the group and shown what their purpose is. And I could go on... This makes me so sad, to think that they have to do these things in order to achieve fame and be 'number one for their fans'. They recently got their first win after finishing their X Clan era, suprisingly with the last MV showing the group making a circle with the shape of the iris of an eye and then it ends showing Kihyun, the one who made the sacrifice, with his 'eyes opened' and the MV ends. with a final shot. of an eye. ok lol. To me it seems like they've been preparing this ritual and couldn't get their win until they finished it. Now they've got their new comeback with a time traveling concept and suddenly won, no one was expecting it at all. They seemed so shocked and so relieved at the same time poor kids... I ask the Lord to protect them and save them everyday

Oh I didnt notice, I am going to take a look at their music videos. I went to their concert before and everyone was really nice. I think this comeback was a little odd with Jooheon covering one eye. Sadly, Jooheon grew up at church though and danced a lot at church.

Images from All in-Monsta x
Yes :(( Jooheon and Changkyun used to pray before meals when they debuted but they don't do that anymore. They've probably been kept away from God. Just like it happened to us when we fell into kpop, but waaaayy worse since they're literally trapped inside of it.
Those are the scenes I was talking about! Plus the suicide thing in the bathtub where one of the members finds his friend dead, he gets into the bathtub after pouring that same blue liquid.

Physical comments are sort of normal within korean communities in my opinion. Whenever you meet family or friends, I would always hear, "you gained weight", "you lost weight", "you would be beautiful if you got eye surgery", " etc.

& he barely gets any lines in most of the songs.
Yeah, it's pretty normal. I just don't find it acceptable when the one doing it is the supposed "caretaker" of him. It's not suggesting, but more like degrading. I generally don't like the Koreans' obsession with beauty, but that's another story.
