I don't know if you're a Christian or not. If you are, you know that this statement is not based on God's Word that clearly says that those who don't do His will, will lose salvation, “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven" (Matthew 7:21). Baptism and going to church are God's will for us. He did those things when He was here on earth too.

God is also going to judge everyone (the righteous and unrighteous) by His law and their works. That is why there are heavenly books, books that have the deeds/works/fruit of the righteous (remembrance book, Malachi 3:16), a book with the names of the unsaved and books including those with the deeds/works of the unsaved (white throne judgement).

And God will reward everyone according to their works (good and bad), "He who is unjust, let him be unjust still; he who is filthy, let him be filthy still; he who is righteous, let him be righteous still; he who is holy, let him be holy still.” “And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work" (Revelation 22:11-12).

God gave us free will but He gave His Word and His Son and told us the consequences of what will happen to us if we chose Him or Satan. And by those choices we made we'll either go to heaven and the New Kingdom of God and spent eternity with Him or go to hell to be punished and die eternally for the wages of sin is death.

What matters is that we know God's truth and live according to it. And we do that by praying and studying God's Word through the Holy Spirit. Many people including Christians forget that the Bible is inspired by God and reveals His will to us. It was written by divine inspiration, its not contradictory, and God has protected His Word for millennia. Its the infallible Word of God and is the most reliable, unchanging, trustworthy book in the world.

2 Timothy 3:16-17, "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work."

So of course Satan hates the Bible because it exposes him perfectly. Naturally he has tried to destroy it, distort its message and worked through his evil human agents and religions to try and “taketh away the Word that was sown in the hearts.” Satan has created other religions pagan and non pagan to take people away from the truth. There is truth in this world, God's truth and if people search for it sincerely, God will lead them to it. There is the Holy Spirit Who is working tirelessly to lead people everyday to God's truth so that they are able to discern between the truth and Satan's lies.

God has so many names in the Bible that come directly from Him not any other powers. For example the angel Gabriel told Mary, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name Jesus" (Luke 1:320-31). The name Jesus or its equivalent in Greek which the book of Luke was written in, is God given.

We are told the true name of the creator, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth" (John 1:1-3, 14). Its Jesus. And we can use and call out His name in the right way of course.

Why don't you call the Bible the Bible?

Remember that God is God and more powerful than created beings. As I posted above, the Bible is His inspired Word and He has protected it. Even with Satan thinking that he runs the show here on earth, God made sure that the Bible would be printed even in the difficult times of the dark ages for example. And when people got any light from the Bible their lives were transformed from the inside out that many rather died than follow the Satanic dictates of the Catholic church that persecuted them.

There are many tainted version of the Bible yes, but one can still find Christ in them. As a child I used to read the NIV and I understood many things about God from that version of the Bible. As Christians grow in faith they get better versions of the Bible. The Bible is divine and its Word has power to transform people's lives. Remember that belief in God is spiritual and spiritual things are spiritually discerned.

Loving, knowing and having faith in God means following His example and doing His will. Those that do will be with Him for eternity. Those who don't, will lose their lives eternally.

When we love God we do what He asks of us because we want to please Him not because we have to. and He gives us the power and willingness to do those things because they don't come naturally to humans.
