Basic Composition of Cow’s Milk.

Cow’s milk, whether it be commercial or organic, contains 59 active hormones, scores of allergens, fat, and cholesterol. Most cow’s milk has measurable quantities of herbicides, pesticides, dioxins, up to 52 powerful antibiotics, blood, pus, faeces, bacteria and viruses.

Remember … cow’s milk (and beef, for that matter) may contain traces of anything the cow ate – including such things as radioactive fallout.

There’s a lot more fat in cow’s milk and dairy products than you might think:

- Whole milk derives 49% of its calories from fat

- 2% milk derives 35% of its calories from fat

- Cheddar cheese derives 74% of its calories from fat

Homogenization

Large fat molecules from un-homogenized cow’s milk cannot get through the intestinal wall and into the blood stream; this is a good thing, the way God intended. But when milk is homogenized, cream no longer rises because homogenization breaks up those large molecules into small ones that DO get into the bloodstream! This becomes a dangerous, unnatural express way for any fat-borne toxins (lead, dioxins, etc.) to get into the blood.

Is it any wonder why one of the top “killer” foods to avoid is dairy?

Butter derives 100% of its calories from fat.

Most folks have no idea just how much fat is in milk and dairy. Milk, ice cream, cheeses, yogurts, and all other products derived from cow’s milk are most likely a significant cause for weight gain and weight problems.

God's Temple.

God has given us a gospel and God has given us a lifestyle.

The Gospel is to recreate us, but the lifestyle is to make God's work in us more effective. An unhealthy diet affects our minds too. A clogged mind cannot hear the Holy Spirit's pleadings or have strength to respond.

THE BEST DIET. God has created all the fruits, vegetables, grains and nuts for us to enjoy. The body cells reproduce quickly, so in three weeks on a plant based diet, the difference can be seen. We will be more joyful, positive, more alert Christians in healthier bodies. If we look in the shops and count the the different fruits and vegetables which God has made for us - all the colours, shapes and smells, we see that God's plan for us is a delight.

THE BEST DRINK. With a simple diet, simple fluids are best. Water, herbal teas and fruit juices are recommended. We should drink enough to be hydrated and we always know by the colour of our urine. It should always be pale. It is good to drink before we read the Bible too. This helps clear our minds so that we can understand scripture and we and God can work together in our lives.

The Bible tells us we will plant and eat our own vineyards in the new kingdom (Isaiah 65:21). I imagine the food we'll eat. One thing it will all be healthy and no meat will be involved because there will be no killing in heaven. But God has given us choice. He is very specific (as He is about everything) about clean and unclean foods and things which defile. Lets all pray that we give God's way a try.

God said, “Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat” (Genesis 1:29). He said, eat of them freely.

“Let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit” (2 Corinthians 7:1).

Sensibly using healthy things.

"Temperance in eating, drinking, sleeping and dressing is one of the grand principles of the religious life. Truth brought into the sanctuary of the soul will guide in the treatment of the body. Nothing that concerns the health of the human agent is to be regarded with indifference. Our eternal welfare depends upon the use we make during this life of our time, strength and influence." Diet Soda: New Warnings About Its “Deceptive” Ingredient.

Would you drink 14 cans of diet soda a day?

According to global health experts, that’s the safe limit for the average person. Since its approval by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in 1981, aspartame has become the world’s most popular artificial sweetener, replacing sugar in zero-calorie sodas like Diet Coke and Diet Pepsi.

But aspartame is not only “possibly carcinogenic to humans,” according to a statement released in July by the World Health Organization (WHO). It is also “linked to potential problems with memory and learning,” according to a recent study from Florida State University (FSU) involving mice.

The Mice.
Over a 16-week period, researchers from FSU’s College of Medicine studied three groups of male mice, two of which had aspartame added to their water. One group consumed 15 percent of the FDA’s maximum recommended daily intake of aspartame, the equivalent of four 8-ounce diet sodas; the second group consumed 7 percent, the equivalent of two 8-ounce diet sodas; and the third group consumed only water.

At intervals of four weeks, eight weeks, and 12 weeks, the mice were given a test to complete a maze. The maze at the 12-week interval contained 40 possible choices with only one “escape box.” The mice that drank only water were able to find the box quickly, while those that consumed aspartame needed more time and, in some cases, a little help to complete the task.

The study, published on August 31 in Scientific Reports, concluded that “aspartame consumption at doses equivalent to 7–15% of the FDA recommended maximum human daily intake value produce learning and memory deficits in male mice.” Those deficits, according to one of the researchers, were “significant,” despite the affected mice’s ability to “compensate in some sort of way” to eventually complete the maze.

So maybe the FDA should take “a closer, multi-generational perspective on the effects of aspartame,” the researcher said. After all, those mice “consumed aspartame at levels equivalent to much lower doses than those deemed safe by the [FDA].”

Furthermore, the neurological effects are not limited to memory function. In a study published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences in December 2022, the same research team used the same amounts of aspartame to test other groups of mice for anxiety. In those given aspartame, “pronounced anxiety-like behavior was observed … through a variety of maze tests.” Also, both the anxiety and the memory problems were seen in the mice’s offspring, suggesting that “aspartame may cause genetic changes in sperm that may affect future generations.”

Then how, in the face of FSU’s findings, can the Calorie Control Council defend the use of this synthetic chemical? In a statement to Fox News Digital, the Council’s president denied the “link between low- and no-calorie sweeteners and cognitive impairments.” “The findings of this study are in contradiction to the totality of evidence and the numerous global health organizations that have regarded aspartame as safe,” he said.

The Consumers.
The “industry experts” might be willing to say anything to settle the fears of the millions of consumers who depend on low- and no-calorie sweeteners to reduce their sugar intake. According to a HundredX survey of 150,000 respondents, the WHO’s announcement that aspartame is “possibly carcinogenic” has not affected consumers’ feelings about diet soda. In fact, sales of these drinks have increased by 2 percent since May.

It should be noted, however, that it was the WHO’s cancer research arm that made the statement about aspartame being a possible carcinogen—contradicting an added statement from a different WHO department that the ingredient is “safe to consume … within a certain limit.”

Amid such confusion, the HundredX survey seems to indicate that consumer demand for calorie-free carbonation remains strong and that “opinion over the safety of these beverages … has not changed.” This was surprising to HundredX members, who expected “the potential health implications” to “have a more negative impact on people’s intent to consume diet soda.” According to the vice president of strategy, “consumers will likely continue to drink diet soda despite the health risks … believing they are better for them than regular soda.”

For soda giants like Coca-Cola and PepsiCo, that should be “welcomed news,” especially in a market where sales of drinks containing high fructose corn syrup have dropped as consumers watch their sugar intake. These companies have “large stakes in the sugar-free space with Coke Zero, Diet Coke, Pepsi Zero Sugar and Diet Pepsi,” which bring in “hundreds of millions of dollars in sales each year.” All four of these drinks contain aspartame.

The Overcomers.
When you sit down to eat … consider carefully what is before you.
In light of the recent warnings about this artificial sweetener, why would consumers continue to drink diet soda? Because they “care more about other factors that bring them more happiness,” said HumanX’s vice president of strategy. Factors “like taste.”

But is true happiness found by indulging our tastebuds? Let’s see what the Bible says.

Proverbs 23:1-3 gives us this counsel: “When you sit down to eat with a ruler, consider carefully what is before you; and put a knife to your throat if you are a man given to appetite. Do not desire his delicacies, for they are deceptive food.”

Is not diet soda “deceptive food” when advertised as a healthy alternative to regular soda? Even the word “diet” is misleading!

Replacing one unhealthy option with another is not in God’s plan for our happiness. Any substitute that “doesn’t require a massive behavior shift from [consumers]”—those are the words of the CEO of Olipop—should be a red flag to Christians. Olipop is a “prebiotic soda” that contains far less sugar than the average carbonated drink. The problem with this “healthier” option is the price. One 12-ounce can is $3!

Our happiness, then, does “require a massive behavior shift.” Ever since Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit (Genesis 3:6), our tastebuds cannot be trusted. When God’s people in the wilderness “yielded to intense craving” instead of enjoying the manna He had provided (Numbers 11:4–6), many of them became sick and died (vv. 31–34). In another wilderness, Jesus overcame these intense cravings (Matthew 4:1–4), and He invites us to follow His example (Luke 9:23).

The dandelion is also considered to be a "bitter herb" that can be served with the Passover meal.
Is it? I didn't know that. What I do know is that no one should be celebrating the Passover since it was fulfilled with Jesus' death. The sacrificial lamb represented Jesus as, "The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!" (John 1:29).

If you actually know that no one should be observing the Passover that God Commanded us to keep, as you claim to know, then surely you can provide us with a Bible verse or two where Jesus told us that?

Here is what Jesus actually did say about The Law (yes, observing the Passover is part of The Law, to bring into remembrance being freed from slavery and the sin that brought about that slavery in Egypt, AND being freed again from the slavery to sin that Christ's sacrifice brought about):

Matthew 5:17-19
5:17 Think NOT that I am come to destroy The Law, or the Prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill [to fully preach The Law (The Torah) and fulfill the prophecies about the first coming of the Messiah].
5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no way pass from The Law, till all be fulfilled.
5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least COMMANDments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in The Kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach [them], the same shall be called great in The Kingdom of heaven.

I do know because the Bible says so.

Daniel 9:27 says, "But in the middle of the week He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. . ." This means Jesus' death brought an end to all sacrifices and offerings which included the Passover lamb that was slayed during the Passover feast.

To add to that when Jesus died the veil that separated the holy and most holy rooms was torn by unseen hands, "And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice, and yielded up His spirit. Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split" (Matthew 27:50-51). This means that the earthly temple with all it sacrifices and offerings ceased because the lamb that takes away the sin of the world had fulfilled the festivals and offerings.

Colossians 2:14 tells us that not only Jesus was nailed to the cross, "...having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross."

Colossians 2:17
tells us, "Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ." The offerings and yearly sabbaths pointed forward to Christ.

Paul also wrote, "For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us" (1 Corinthians 5:7).

So if Christ our Passover was sacrificed for us that means the festival was fulfilled. To celebrate Passover is to deny Jesus' sacrifice for our sins on the cross.

You've misquoted these verses to mean something they don't at all. You are blending the moral law with ceremonial law which are two different laws.

God gave Moses two laws, the moral and ceremonial law.

The moral law which is the ten commandments was written by God's own finger and placed in the ark of the covenant. This law deals with moral precepts and is everlasting (Exodus 20:1, 22; 20:3-17; 31:18; 32:16; Deuteronomy 10:5).

The ceremonial law centred around the sanctuary and its services, all of which, of course, were designed to teach the children of Israel the plan of salvation and point them to the coming Messiah, were written by Moses and put in the side of the ark of the covenant (Exodus 24:3-4, 7; Deuteronomy 31:24-26).

When Jesus talked about the law in the verses you've posted, He was talking about the ten commandment law which is the moral/eternal/perfect law of liberty and will always exist because it shows us God's character.

The festivals were to exist until Jesus' death as I've shown above from the book of Daniel. "But in the middle of the week He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. . ." The festivals and offering were always going to end unlike the moral law which never will.

The Lord's supper/Communion replaced Passover. Of course a lamb is not killed any more because that would be rejecting Christ's sacrifice. The Lord's supper is about honouring Christ's sacrifice. Jesus held the first Lord's supper Himself (Luke 22:14-23).

Thank-you. So you have nothing to back up your false claim.

The ceremonial aspect of The Law -- substitute animal sacrifice and the other ceremonies carried out by the Levitical priesthood -- were replaced at the cross with self-sacrifice (Matt. 10:38; Mark 8:34; Luke 9:23; Luke 14:26-27; Gal. 2:20; Sura 6:162; Sura 92:18-21). And what Christ said in Matthew 5:17-19 is crystal clear. It's the same reason we know the Sabbath never changed -- NOR any of the HIGH Sabbaths (like those that begin and end the Feast of Unleavened Bread which follows the Passover) -- with which you seem to agree.

And it's also the reason why people should remember The Law and the Passover we have been Commanded to keep, so that we never forget the sacrifices made on our behalf.

We don't get to pick and choose which Sabbaths we keep. God gave them all to us to keep for everyone's benefit.

Thank-you. So you have nothing to back up your false claim.
I have backed it up, but I will post more scripture below. Don't intentionally forget, “Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us” (1 Corinthians 5:7).

Animal sacrifices foreshadowed the coming Saviour who would died to take our sins. It’s in the Bible, Hebrews 10:1, 4, “For the law, having a shadow of the good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with these same sacrifices, which they offer continually year by year, make those who approach perfect. … For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and goats could take away sins.

Did you read that, the blood of bulls and goats could not take away sins. Only Jesus can which is why the Passover does not count any more since Jesus died on the cross for our sins.

Here is more from the Bible. Hebrews 9:22, “According to the law almost all things are purified with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no remission.” Jesus said, “This is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins” (Matthew 26:28).

The sacrificing of animals was necessary to help people understand that without the shedding of Jesus’ blood (not animals), their sins could never be forgiven.

The ugly, shocking truth is that the wage for sin is eternal death (Romans 6:23). Since all of us have sinned, all of us have earned death. When Adam and Eve sinned, they would have died at once except for Jesus, who stepped forward and offered to give His perfect life as a sacrifice to pay the death penalty for all people, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life" (John 3:16).

Revelation 13:8, "All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world."

Without a Saviour, no one has any hope for salvation. The sacrificial system taught, through the symbol of the slain animal, that God would give His own Son to die for their sins (1 Corinthians 15:3). Jesus would become not only their Saviour, but also their Substitute, "Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation" (Hebrews 9:28). When John the Baptist met Jesus, he said, Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world(John 1:29). In the Old Testament, people looked forward to the cross for salvation. We look back to Calvary for salvation. There is no other source of salvation, "Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12).

Because God has sacrificed Himself for us, we follow His example in love. Ephesians 5:1-2, “Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.”

Sacrificing to God is offering up our lives and bodies to live in service to His will. Romans 12:1, “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service."

So what you posted is not based on God's Word is it? Its based on your beliefs which make you think you can blend your false, pagan beliefs with God's Word. Its satanic to do that!

And it's also the reason why people should remember The Law and the Passover we have been Commanded to keep, so that we never forget the sacrifices made on our behalf.
This is wrong and not based on the Bible as shown above.

All this ties in with Jesus being High Priest in the heavenly sanctuary by the way and I have a whole thread on that subject according to the Bible.

"Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin…But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us" (Hebrews 4:14-15; 9:11-12).

“For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us: Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others; For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself. And it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment” (Hebrews 9:24-27).

We don't get to pick and choose which Sabbaths we keep. God gave them all to us to keep for everyone's benefit.
No the sabbaths that were part of ceremonial law are not to be kept as they were done away with when Jesus died on the cross. These sabbaths had absolutely nothing to do with the Seventh-day Sabbath of the ten commandments. They were part of the ceremonial services which ended at the cross.

For proof from the Bible, let us go back to the law of Moses and read about these annual feast days which were shadowy sabbaths. “Speak to the children of Israel, saying: ‘In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you shall have a sabbath-rest, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, a holy convocation” (Leviticus 23:24). Again we read, “Also the tenth day of this seventh month shall be the Day of Atonement. It shall be a holy convocation for you; you shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire to the Lord. ... It shall be to you a sabbath of solemn rest, and you shall afflict your souls; on the ninth day of the month at evening, from evening to evening, you shall celebrate your sabbath” (verses 27, 32).

As you can clearly see, these annual sabbaths fell on a different day of the week every year, and God specifically explained that they were not to be confused with the weekly Sabbath. “These are the feasts of the Lord which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations, to offer an offering made by fire to the Lord, a burnt offering and a grain offering, a sacrifice and drink offerings, everything on its day— besides the Sabbaths of the Lord, besides your gifts, besides all your vows, and besides all your freewill offerings which you give to the Lord” (verses 37-38).

There were certain prescribed offerings for each of those yearly feast days, and they were shadows pointing to the future sacrifice of Jesus. But the Bible says these were “beside the Sabbaths of the Lord,” or the Seventh-day Sabbath.

We have to keep the weekly Sabbath which was instituted at creation before sin came into the world and is part of the ten commandments. That is the Sabbath that God told us to "Remember" not the ceremonial sabbaths that fell on different days of the week. Again, those were done away with along with all ceremonial law including the passover when Jesus died on the cross.

This is what Paul meant when he said, "Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;" (Colossians 2:14). The law that was blotted out and nailed to the cross is ceremonial law.

This is the truth of the Bible and its not mixed with my beliefs or other religions that deny Christ as Messiah.

Goodbye.

You've yet to provide a single verse indicating the Christ did away with The Law, or changed the Sabbath, including the High Sabbath days (which surround the Holy f(e)asts, where The Law was read to everyone).

You correctly point out that the Sabbath was never changed from the 7th day of the week (the Sabbath day/Saturday) to the 1st day of the week (Sun-day, the day of Babylonian sun-worship). And then you turn around and deny the rest of the Sabbath days which Father (God) COMMANDED us to keep, along with His Holy Feasts.

You also, and very deceitfully, chose to omit the verses from Leviticus 23 which plainly state that keeping the feasts are STATUTES which shall be kept FOREVER, because that doesn't agree with your made-up traditions of picking and choosing which parts of The Law you wish to keep and which parts you don't.

Leviticus 23:14 And ye shall eat neither bread, nor parched corn, nor green ears, until the selfsame day that ye have brought an offering unto your God: [IT SHALL BE] A STATUTE FOR EVER throughout your generations in all your dwellings.

Leviticus 23:21 And ye shall proclaim on the selfsame day, [that] it may be an holy convocation unto you: ye shall do no servile work [therein: IT SHALL BE] A STATUTE FOR EVER in all your dwellings throughout your generations.

Leviticus 23:31 Ye shall do no manner of work: [IT SHALL BE] A STATUTE FOR EVER throughout your generations in all your dwellings.

Leviticus 23:41 And ye shall keep it a feast unto the "I AM" seven days in the year. [IT SHALL BE] A STATUTE FOR EVER in your generations: ye shall celebrate it in the seventh month.

If you look for ways around these simple statutes, which God has COMMANDED us to keep forever, then what will you do about the weightier matters of The Law, e.g. Judgment, Mercy and Faith?

Matthew 23:23 Woe unto you, scribes (lawyers) and pharisees (politicians), hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier [matters] of The Law, Judgment, Mercy, and Faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

The Daniel Diet: A Plant based Diet.

“Please test your servants for ten days, and let them give us vegetables to eat and water to drink. Then let our appearance be examined before you, and the appearance of the young men who eat the portion of the king’s delicacies; and as you see fit, so deal with your servants.” So he consented with them in this matter, and tested them ten days” (Daniel 1:12-14).

The Plant based Diet holds unbreakable ties to God and how we were designed…
Daniel not only refused the king’s standard diet with animal products, but called for a plant based diet of living food. Pulses were the food that were “sown” into the ground; referring to pulses, fruits and vegetables. By this, Daniel would maintain a connection with his Creator by honouring the diet He gave to man at creation. This was another sign of allegiance by which Daniel fastened his identity and relationship to God.

Did It Make A Difference?
This request was actually taken much the same way many who are strong believers in the standard diet of meat, cheese, and milk products would. “I fear my lord the king, who has appointed your food and drink. For why should he see your faces looking worse than the young men who are your age? Then you would endanger my head before the king” (Daniel 1:10). Where will you get your protein? Where will you get your calcium? You will waste away to nothing! But the cows, horses, ox, and gorillas enjoy a plant based diet, and they don’t waste away. How much more man who was the crowning creation of the earth, who was made vegan from the hand of a loving Creator?

The result was much different, "So he consented with them in this matter, and tested them ten days. And at the end of ten days their features appeared better and fatter in flesh than all the young men who ate the portion of the king’s delicacies” (Daniel 1:14-15). How is this possible with only a plant based diet? Because the body is composed of minerals and nutrients which are found from the soil. Meat, eggs, and dairy provide these second-hand, getting their nutrients from the foods that come from the soil, but the source of these building blocks of the body are found in the way God designed us in the beginning. They are the superfoods which the body needs to thrive.
