No need to memorise the entire bible if you don't want, just memorise the ones that sound good to you personally, for example don't let yourself get bogged down in the swamp of the world..-

Ah, but it gives us a warm fuzzy feeling to know that God himself is against the godless world and the mushbrained masses in it, and doesn't want us to get bogged down in the mess..-

Not all sites are mushbrained, for example VC is pretty good or I wouldn't stay here.
If we don't like a site just walk and find a better one..

That's always been a tricky one, because if we hadn't stood up to the nazis, they'd be running half the world by now and the japs would be running the other half..
PS- Jesus allowed some of the disciples to carry swords, probably as a deterrent against muggers on their travels, and when the temple guards came to arrest Jesus in Gethsemane Peter went into action (below)-

Loving one's enemies means neutralizing evil with good/truth rather than using evil to fight evil, the latter of which only multiplies evil.

If we were keeping and enforcing The Law that God gave us -- which includes the death penalty for all capital crimes -- we would lovingly and lawfully be putting evil out from among us as God COMMANDS, while making this world a better, more loving environment for all concerned.
