By "divinity of Jesus" do you mean "Jesus is God" or "Jesus is God's son"?

I don't want to derail the thread to debate the trinity (though i am a believer), but as far as this thread just addressing the claim that "God had no son":

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Divinity as in equal partners with God. The example of Jesus is that of Adam. God created him for a purpose.
In the Bible Jesus tells us God gave him life. (John 5:26)



Did you know God also calls David his begotten son in the Bible? Israel is also his son.

As i said, there are over 90 verses that reject the divinity of Jesus in the Bible.
For instance God is all knowing. Why doesn't Jesus know the hour? (Mark 13:32)

Why does Jesus say "My God, My God, why hast thou forsaken me? " (Matt 27:46)

If you don't want to derail I'm happy to take this private.


Like i said, there are Unitarians, including a few here. Clearly there is something wrong with the doctrine when those who claim Christianity reject the divinity of Jesus.

For me its simple. If they take their religion from the Bible they are Christian. I wasn't talking about Freeman anyway.

The reason i would call it a strawman argument is because many of us would never defend catholicism, yet we get lumped in with them.

As I've pointed out to Tidal repeatedly. Half of Christians identify as Catholic.



Many from your sect probably won't defend it. This doesn't change the fact that they claim your religion.
If you put the shoe on the other foot you'll see they say you are not Christian.

While i don't believe in celebrating the pagan "Christian" holidays, i don't believe people who do so are damned if their own conscience doesn't convict them of it. I certainly don't believe Christians are required to ohserve these days.

The Prophet of Islam (saw) said whoever emulates a group is one of them. So when the holidays are pagan in nature those who celebrate them become pagan. But we can disagree on this if you like.

To ge honest, most of the threads that i've seen that appear to be Christians debating Christians usually involve either a catholic or jahtruther derailing them...

I actually see it alot. That might be your only example because we literally have like 20 people here.

Oh man, college is sadly a cesspool of this. And they always shove their degrees in people's faces, bragging about how smart and accomplished they are. Apparently alot of college courses are about learning Marxist ways and useless teachings..it's awful.

I'm gonna bump this thread. I find it's a good idea to do so. Many others on this forum won't think so, but things have gone from bad to worse.
The Islam religion has totally taken over this forum. It's worse than when I first started this thread.
Everyone, and I mean almost EVERYONE has gotten indoctrinated to think their religion is good and like Christianity. I'm seeing Christians on here supporting their religion. Just cause it seems similar, doesn't mean they didn't plagiarize christianity. I heard their so called prophet slept with many women, and even treated them very poorly. What about Sharia law? How they treat people in their own countries?
Yes, Muslims that live in North America and such may be a bit different, cause they aren't as forced into their customs as in their own countries, but we can't sit here and take this infiltration and indoctrination.
This forum has become another form of this. It's all controlled opposition and Sharia law sympathizers, or at least most of the way.
Anyone that says anything against this religion is automatically corrected and shut down. We get censored, just like the liberals to do people all the time.
This forum has become like the liberal media! People are so manipulated on here, it's becoming a joke. Is there anyone on here that actually knows what's properly happening? Do they even notice this infiltration? Half the members are of Sharia law, for Pete's sake!
Also, I have never witnessed a forum with such a cold and sterile feel to it. I don't even know if people even have friends on here. Everyone is always debating/arguing, and I would think for a place where people can have free speech, there would be more of a friendly feel. It's hard enough for us to feel we connect to others, it's a lonely life.
This forum has made things more lonely for us. Anyone who is not 100 percent conservative, or a Muslim, is shunned. It's as bad as the liberal agenda now. Where is the connection? Where is the full truth?

You're half right. For starters i never even came to VC until 2016 and never was on Hex's forum. I was Alex on the old boards and you know this like you know your own mothers face.

But you're right in that there used to be a strong Muslim presence here. There are still 5 or so that i can see, they just don't give dawah. I'm not counting myself of course. But people who think Muslims will never come here when they account for 1 in 4 of mankind are pretty ignorant. Almost like saying a boy / girl will never come here.
