Yes, I think it most likely represents him wanting to break free from the alter persona that he’s currently under.

I’m not very familiar with the different torture methods, but I believe one of them is electroshock.
But he was singing telling the audience to take their mask off. ??? So how come it’s the opposite? Maybe to be subliminal about it?

@BananaLaser
Also, have you seen hisSprite commercial?
Here’s the link with the English lyrics. This one is behind the scenes.

the Sprite commercial is this link: turn on the subtitles.

The little kid in the commercial represents Lay when he’s little.Lay also does boxing in real life.
The little kid is also his trainee.

Lyrics of Sprite commercial credit given to and translated from LayzhangBase:

I honestly found the lyrics to the song “Veil” sort of confusing. I’ll check out the Sprite commercial later, and let you know my thoughts on it. :)

@BananaLaser
Have you watched “Veil”, “Lit”, or “Sheep” videos? What do you think symbolically about these videos? You don’t have to watch if you don’t want to. You can play the videos in silent mode.

Is this a bathtub sacrifice?
I didn’t know about it until I saw a few comments on it on VC’s other posts.

And this thumbnail of “Sheep” on his YouTube channel. Is this the 666 sign “Devil’s horn” that he’s making here?IMG_6731.jpeg

Veil: I thought it was interesting how a skull would come across the screen, whenever the imagery changed. It might’ve represented changing to a different persona?

Lit: I think the video was trying to show the underground meetings, that occur among the elite.

Sheep: I noticed that the lead dancer was wearing red (sacrifice), and the background dancers were wearing black and white (duality).

So that’s what I took away from the videos. Thanks for sharing!

In regardance To “Lit”, Lay said a lot of people said a lot of bad things about him (lots of rumors going around about him) so he’s like a lotus that grows from the mud that transformed into pure beauty, according to him. Do you think that’s really what he says it is?

He said people were trying to take him down with their nasty rumors about him and he now has the “power”. When I watched the video the first time, it was too intense so I stopped. But later on, I went back and finished it and watched it several times. I really don’t know what he meant by the lyrics: “Take, take, take. No one beat me down….I have the power and you know it.”

So I’m not sure if he meant he had the money to sue people who started nasty rumors about him and that he’ll win. He really did sue a couple of people who started false rumors about him. Someone got his ID info that falsify his record that he is willingly offering his organs to donors, but that was false. Someone else threatened his family about something that I don’t recall. Then another started another rumor about something else. He sued them.

It really sounded like Lay had been through ALOT: from SM entertainment to now.

I have no idea about “Veil”, but he works hard on his dancing skills. He’s a completely different person when he dances in contrast to his social skills, which is alil childish/shy. So this probably what you meant by changing persona. I just couldn’t put a finger to his personality when I saw him went from innocent, childish, cute, to a grown up man dancing Krump (krump is a type of dance) and becoming bold.

Just like his Sprite video, he was asking the lil boy with the mask (which represents himself) why he does boxing. Lay does boxing in real life. So boxing makes him a bolder person instead of a timid person.

What did you meant by “duality”?
With “Sheep”, I rewatched and did notice Lay was wearing red, and the other dancers were black and white. Then they alternate: him wearing black and the dancers were all red.
What kind of sacrifice are you referring to?

Did you watch the “Honey” video? Was it too westernized?

I’m honestly not sure, I don’t know very much about him.

The term “duality”, if I’m not mistaken, refers to the split personality of a victim under MK ultra. There wasn’t a specific sacrifice that I had in mind, it’s just that the color “red” represents sacrifice.

I didn’t watch the "Honey" video. What are your thoughts on it?

At first, I didn’t know much about him either and I did watch “Honey” and thought he was referring to the “honey” from the honey bee. But I read somewhere it’s a one night stand so it’s not referring to what I was thinking.

There was a scene in this MV where he was submerged in the water that Looks like honey and he danced a lot in this MV. He had the “swag”, according to some.

I know under the Korean SM entertainment , there are some groups that have satanic influence. This MV was under SMA entertainment, even though this is one of his solo album before he stop renewing his contract with SM.

I can tell he works hard for hours to perfect his dance moves, but Istill couldn’t believe he’s under the influence of MK Ultra

I re-watched the “Honey” video and the honey combs (hexagon) imprint on his back. Don’t know what it means. He’s also in a hexagon bath taking a “honey” bath (liquid looks like honey, too).

Any significance to the chain around his neck? And he’s half naked.

Yes, there is significance behind the chain around his neck. The chain around his neck symbolizes how he is forever a slave to the system, and therefore how he won’t be able to break free from it. The chain symbol is also in the music video for Billie Eilish and Khalid’s song “Lovely”.

Do you see the “scream “? What do you think it means? Is he trying to break free due to his frustration or ????

Did you both saw the short introduction to the video? He was running in the ship and alot of the things I’m hoping you can point out: Him looking like he’s being invisibly slapped left and right, running in the ship, screaming holding his head.

Is he aware of all this re-programming while doing the concert, eating, sleeping, etc? Is it like he’ll do things without knowing what he’s doing?

Why are guys wearing making up?
