I also knew a couple of guys, who were fellow engineering students. They did that over the weekends and it was before the above happened to me. They weren't even always in class, but would take the textbooks and study it on their own. Then they would go and ace their exams.. They were smart guys, no doubt, but in any case, they BOTH received their engineering degrees "Cum Laude" (with honours).. I was like, what.. how did they manage to do that?? I guess I know now, because I found it out later lol
I had to smile wryly over this because when I was doing a Masters degree course, one of the guys on it had been a heavy weed user. I think he must have smoked a bad batch because he had gone rather wide-eyed and paranoid and ended up wandering in late to lectures and convinced they were trying to fail him!!! In the end, I think his mental health deteriorated so much he left the course, which was a shame because he was basically a nice guy!

That's too bad. Yes, so that can happen if someone doesn't exercise control. The guys I knew at uni, weren't heavy users afaik, I only saw them use it one afternoon at the start of the weekend. And they didn't use much. I think of it as a medicine - so if people choose to use it for any condition then they should be careful as with anything.

It looks like it's becoming more acknowledged in Australia for the healing benefits found in the plant/herb:
https://www.abc.net.au/news/health/2022-03-12/medicinal-cannabis-prescriptions-grow-as-access-becomes-easier/100901244

Interesting how it is being acknowledged, that cannabis still works for cases of "drug resistant" epilepsy, where pharmaceutical drugs can't have any effect. So it's obviously better than pharmaceuticals (who would have thought it).

Genesis 9:3 Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things.

It's possible for people to overdo/overdose on anything. And then because of that, people who do that end up making things harder for others.

So taking that as an idea, if people could isolate the beneficial properties, identify sources of toxicity and provide it in a safe, easy to take form, would that be a good or a bad thing?

I believe people are doing that already, but the pharma companies will seek to subvert it because you cannot patent a natural plant or herb. They want a monopoly.

In the article it says they are offering it now to patients as a "last resort" treatment, because it works when pharma drugs don't have any effect. Which is the opposite of logic. What works best, and is natural should have been offered to them first.

But they try to get people to settle on their patented pharma drugs first and for as long as possible because this makes them money.

They want to make money, so they want people to use their expensive and toxic pharma drugs (pharmaceutical patented drugs) rather than turn to God for answers and be able to use what God has provided and given.

I know you want to use the idea as a means to try and defend the actions of the pharmaceutical industry, but we know full well that they don't just do what you proposed. Chemotherapy, as an example is literally the administration of one poison after another, that is so toxic that it makes all of a person's hair fall out. It is also VERY expensive. Only a sorcerers spell can get people to believe they must do that. Oh yes, and radiation is prescrbed too. After the patient has had to sign a no recourse agreement for any of the "treatment".

That's what they do. Why don't they tell people the truth, that they don't need chemo, or radiation and can cure cancer naturally? Why do they go after people who do tell it, and get their agencies to censor the information? Why? Because they don't make MONEY from people who use natural substances to heal themselves. They make NOTHING. They love MONEY, and therefore, it's just business basics, that they get the richest when there are as many sick people as possible. Curing people, hurts their bottom line.

The love of money is the root of all evil.

1 Timothy
5:8 And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.
5:9 But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and [into] many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
5:10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
5:11 But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, Godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
5:12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on Eternal Life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good declaration before many witnesses.

You can see that this is nothing to do with reincarnation though, can’t you??

It says nothing of a subsequent man, woman or Brussels sprout!!
It plainly states BE NOT DECEIVED, GOD IS NOT MOCKED, which is what you're doing by pretending (being deceived into believing) that karma isn't mentioned in the Bible, when it is and has been placed in front of your eyes multiple times.

It's understood that common-sense is difficult to find these days, but surely you can see that if we reap what we sow, and that some "innocent" couple isn't able to have children in their present lifetime, it is solely because God has decided it would be best for them NOT to have children. That could be because of their behavior in this lifetime, or in a previous lifetime.

The previous lifetime is the more logical reason, simply because the child-bearing years often begin at a young age, before the human+Being reaches a level of spiritual maturity.

However, to leave NO doubt that karma absolutely extends to previous lifetimes, there are individuals who are, e.g. BORN BLIND, and thus could not possibly have brought that punishment upon themselves from sin in their present lifetime.

This is why the disciples specifically asked Christ about the man they met who was BORN blind, and how that could have happened, given he had not had the opportunity to sin yet in that body (in the womb) before being born, thus eliminating the possibility he was being punished for the sins of his present lifetime.

The answer? So that the works of God (Divine Justice/Perfect Karma) should be made manifest IN him (making the spiritual consequences appear in the physical).

John 9:1-3
9:1 And as [Jesus] passed by, he saw a man which was blind from [his] birth. (re-incarnation)
9:2 And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did SIN, THIS MAN, or his parents, that he was BORN blind?
9:3 Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.

No rationally-minded individual can read that passage and take away from it anything other than that Jesus was teaching his disciples about reincarnation, and how perfect, divine justice works. God is ALWAYS merciful, just and fair in all matters, so if He places a soul (spirit-Being) inside of a human body that was blind from its birth, that is exactly what SHOULD happen to that individual, both a punishment for the sins of that individual's previous life, and as a lesson, to teach them what they need to learn in the present lifetime, to continue growing spiritually.

Of course irrational/illogical individuals can pretend otherwise, and make up all manner of crazy excuses, e.g. "God made the man blind, and made him suffer that way for decades, just so Jesus could come along and heal him", which is not only ludicrous, but an insult to God. It also completely ignores why the disciples asked the question in the first place. It should be self-evident the disciples KNEW that we are punished for sinning (breaking God's Law -
1 John 3:4).

John
5:14 Afterward Jesus findeth him* in The Temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a WORSE thing come unto thee.

*the sick, lame man near the Bethesda pool, who had been that way for 38 years, before God healed him through Jesus.

This is exactly why Christ advocates returning to The Law, to free us from our bondage to sin, and the suffering that sin causes. Christ taught that when He was here in the body of Jesus, and He is doing it again, for the final time, while here in the body of JAH.

You could benefit from Christ's Teachings too, IF you would put them into practice.

Following verses
For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
And how do you read those verses please? You do understand that the mortal human is flesh, which dies and then decomposes, and that only the immortal Soul (spiritual-Being) is therefore capable of reaping life everlasting, don't you?

compare verses from previous GALATIANS chapter 5.
Yes, please do and see the entire letter to the Galatians explained spiritually at the link below:-

https://vigilantcitizenforums.com/threads/the-galatian-citation.7069/

There is NOTHING in the Book of Galatians that suggests reincarnation (therefore we would reap bad things in a NEXT life like AJH claims).
You mean like Galatians (or the rest of the Bible) doesn't say anything about karma. :)

Please see how Galatians 6:7-9 very much is referring to reincarnation too, when looked at logically (spiritually, i.e. correctly).

Just who do people think OWNS all of the pharmaceutical (Big Pharma) companies?

Think they may have any interest in making MONEY?
Do you really think and believe that THEY* want you and yours, to be prosperous and HEALTHY??

*THEY = The Hierarchy Enslaving You.

In 1492, Chemor, Chief Rabbi of Spain received the following reply from the Grand Sanhedrin (Elders of Zion) to his plea for advice on how to deal with their threatened expulsion under Spanish Law; it illustrates well how the same ancient agenda was still being adhered to by the elect at this time:

'Beloved brethren in Moses (another lie), we have received your letter in which you tell us of the anxieties and misfortunes which you are enduring. We are pierced by as great a pain to hear it as yourselves.

The advice of the Grand Satraps and the Rabbis is the following:

1. As for what you say that the king of Spain obliges you to become Christians: do it, since you cannot do otherwise.

2. As for what you say about the command to despoil you of your property: make your sons merchants that they may despoil, little by little, the Christians of theirs.

3. As for what you say about making attempts on your lives: make your sons doctors and apothecaries (pharmacists/chemists), that they may take away Christian's lives.

4. As for what you say of their destroying your synagogues: make your sons canons and clerics in order that they may destroy their churches.

5. As for the other vexations you complain of: arrange that your sons become advocates and lawyers, and see that they always mix in affairs of State, that by putting Christians under your yoke you may dominate the world and be avenged on them.

6. Do not swerve from this order that we give you, because you will find by experience that, humiliated as you are, you will reach the actuality of power.
(Signed) Prince of the Jews of Constantinople'

(Julio-Inigrez de Medrano - 'La Silva Curiosa' 1608 my emphasis)

Who rejects Jesus?
We all know the answer to that.

Revelation
2:9 I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and [I know] the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are NOT, but [are] (Idumeans) the synagogue of Satan.

3:9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are NOT, but do LIE (Idumeans); behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.

People can of course continue, to choose to ignore all the warnings and to carry on following and enriching THEM, to their own hurt, by dutifully and naively taking their prescription drugs, if they REALLY wish. We would strongly advise against doing so, but of course everyone has their own free-will and has to exercise it in making their own decisions. "The choice is yours" as it is said.

Simple Truth:

God want each and every one of us to invite Him into our hearts and minds, and offers us His Guidance FREE OF CHARGE.

Churches (synagogues, mosques, temples, etc.) want to sell you their version of God, FOR MONEY, and make even more money if they can make and keep you mentally sick for an entire lifetime (make you a life-long customer).

Hospitals, (witch) doctors, pharmacists, etc. want to sell you their version of "healing" FOR MONEY, and make even more money if they can make and keep you physically sick with their poisons for an entire lifetime (make you a life-long customer).

Have you looked into and researched any alternative treatment options, @JoChris? We don't have to get into it and I don't know if it would be an option where you live, but it was easy to find this:
I'm just posting it as info if you wish to consider, in case it may be of interest and helpful.
(I would have told my mom about it too, if I had known.)

The passage is surely a lot to take in and to digest. But... there comes the moment when it all clicks and we go, "he's right you know".

Deut. 32:39 See now that I, [even] I, [am] He, and [there is] no god with Me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither [is there any] that can deliver out of My hand.

I would give it time, and not only read it one time and as it says, also pray about it.
My seizures are 99.99% cured due to a combination of surgery and two medicines (slight pre-seizure feelings that occur from time to time, mostly caffeine/loss of sleep related). It has remained like that since 2005.
I am not willing to add any additional medicines, natural or chemical unless I really need to because I do get noticeable side effects from drug interactions.
My conscience is clear RE medicines I know I **must** have.

That is a massive overgeneralisation again.
Some doctors and medical companies are after the money only. That doesn't mean all are corrupt.
I have seen many other similar claims made towards lawyers, police, religious leaders and anyone else in power.

L.Ron.Hubbard, the founder of Scientology wrote similar things about psychologists and psychiatrists.

Is sow what you reap the same as karma? - Christianity.com

It is worth the whole read.
I agree with the article, Christianity does offer forgiveness for the sin committed and in this life only (even though some consequences will remain). Karma only brings condemnation and fear.

Understood. I'm glad that it's been better since 2005.
I've also had surgery once as a youngster (appendicitis). Was it really necessary? Probably not. It could have probably been cured by another way, or would just have healed on it's own, if given enough time. But the doctors saw an opportunity, and that was that. Anyway, what's done is done and that's in the past now. She was diagnosed with breast cancer, as happens to so many women these days.

I think what TWHOFTF is doing, in addressing these things, is that it is not just talking to us as individuals but also addressing the thinking of society and pointing out errors, and showing the consequences due to those errors. While every individual should do whatever they personally can do, it's also the thinking that needs to change, perhaps primarily. There is definite Wisdom in it that makes sense. If we, as a society, allowed nature to function as it was designed to function, and trusted and respected those decisions, then the great majority of people would be in much better shape, stronger and healthier. It doesn't mean we should or would cease all loving and caring. We would still do what we can and should do within the bounds of sanity, logic and reason. It makes sense to me, but I'm sure and can understand that not everyone would see it that way.

But Karma works both ways. You can also work on gaining good Karma, by doing good deeds.
In the Quran, it says that the good deeds wipe out the bad deeds.
So if we do good deeds, that then helps to wipe out the bad deeds and bad Karma.

In The Law there is a parallel to this that says the same thing.
It says if we will persevere to do good deeds, then the Blessings will chase us down and will overtake us.
But if we will do bad deeds, then the curses will come upon us.
It then says, that it is up to us to choose which we want to have.
God is not unjust in the least.

It also says that good deeds, count more, than what bad deeds count.
It says that there is more reward given for good deeds, that there is punishment given for bad deeds.
The punishment for bad deeds is only equal to what is earned, but the blessing for good deeds, is more than what was earned.
So, we can be encouraged by this, that we can make things better, if we want to and repent.

Doing good deeds and being good, also makes us feel good.
We feel good, when we do good.
But if we do bad, then it also makes us feel bad.
Its also talked about in detail in the book of Ezekiel.

This is a dramatic clip, but I believe it helps to illustrate. It looks like Gandhi also had this belief.

If you had full on appendicitis, not just an inflamed appendix it would have been eventually fatal.
My grandmother died of peritonitis from a burst appendix when my mother was only 7. Because her family coped with it extremely badly she was traumatised. She never got over it in fact.
My father got polio when he was young. He hid his minor weakness in lower right leg very well until he was much older.
Our generation forgets how dangerous treatable diseases can be (and the resulting after effects on families) because what happened to my parents no longer happens in 1st world countries.

Yes there are side effects from medicines, but the only alternative is preventable death/ shorter life span if diseases are untreated.

Sometimes natural products that are good for improving general health are not enough to cure actual diseases.
You don't appear to see the difference.

I've read of people who have cured appendicitis, through fasting.
The regenerative and curative effect of fasting (now having done it and therefore seen and experienced it firsthand) is amazing.

Here is a page with some information on fasting, for anyone who may be interested to learn more about it:

Healing
During a fast, a metamorphosis occurs. The body undergoes a tearing down and rebuilding of damaged materials. For this reason, fasting is famous for its ability to rejuvenate and give the body a more youthful tone. Why does fasting have such a powerful effect in healing the body? Fasting dissolves diseased cells in a systematic manner, leaving healthy tissue. The result is a thorough cleansing of the tube, membrane and cellular structures. There is a remarkable redistribution of nutrients in the fasting body. It hangs on to precious minerals and vitamins while catabolizing on old tissue, toxins and inferior materials.

Each cell of your body is a complete living entity with its own metabolism. It needs a constant supply of oxygen and sufficient nourishment. When due to nutritional deficiencies, sluggish metabolism, sedentary life, overeating and consequent poor digestion and assimilation of food, lack of fresh air and sufficient exercise and rest, our cells are deprived... they start to degenerate... the normal process of cell replacement and rebuilding slows down and your body starts to grow old, its resistance to disease will diminish and you become ‘sick’.

Animals will naturally fast when they are sick or injured, and when we are ill, our hunger diminishes. If we get out of the way and allow nature to take its course, we will find that we can heal from any problem. Since the dawn of recorded time, in fact since before the word "doctor" came into existence, priests provided sanctuaries where people could go to fast. Whereas modern medical practitioners admit that they have no cures, only drugs that mask the symptoms while causing yet other symptoms to appear.

“I had a medical practice for 20 years in NYC, supervised hundreds of long fasts, and I found that the physical healing or weight loss was but a pleasant side effect. What really happened is that the person got in touch with their higher self, their true self, and came to the experience that healing can take place at every level, simply by letting go and allowing Mother Nature to do her work.” – Dr. Rai Casey

(...as a small example, I once started to get "the flu", but then began a fast. The "flu" was completely GONE, within 3 days!)

It all depends on the situation. There isn't a one size fits all answer.

Prevention is better than cure, but once cure is needed a person needs to seek help.
