I was just checking out this new group, apart from it taking me a while to familiarise myself with the members (since they all follow the same Korean beauty standards). I found the lyrics very uncomfortable to read, while everyone in the comments were either stating who their bias was or that they love them. Which made me even more uncomfortable as they're minors and this hasn't even crossed their minds so the idolizing has begun.

Grooming for K-pop debuts are real!

They're styled the same as well with no individuality. I find it abuse alone that they are made to get surgery as literal children, but I bet that was the least horrific thing they experienced thus far in that industry. I would also like to note that they already have bleached their skin except for the girl that's already half white. Majority of the members were several shades darker when younger.

I always have to watch those 'who is who' videos to distinguish each member. There's no individuality in Kpop (except when being MK'd) that it's always my go to response.

In terms of bleaching and eyelids and nose surgery we can only hope that's the most horrible thing they will have endured. Not likely though.

Oh yeah I read that post, clearly tried to forget it and now the thought that those girls had to degrade themselves for a bit of fame not only makes me sick but also how desperate or narcissistic they must feel to want it that badly?

Jjong rarely got to show his real personality. The radio show was one way fans got to see another side of him, but he had to give it up. Why did they make him stop doing his show? He cried the last day, and it was gut wrenching seeing him cry and no one comforted him. Jjong was a very empathetic soul but he didn't receive that love back. That probably left a lot of scars.

Essem was responsible for Taem1n's sexualization. He's been put in sexual concepts almost from debut. Now he's older, but it's expected for him to show his body. Taem1n is the sexy one. I hate when groups have a member that's expected to be sexy. That person almost always hates it.

generally one does have to take cdans posts with a grain of salt but as we know this is common practice in the entertainment industry. it's called "paying your dues" and you have to give something up to get to the top, whether it being your body, your loved one(s) through sacrifices, signing some years out of your life, etc. so if the blind is true it's a shame :/ but i blame the parents 100%. some of those girls could be born into it.
and you'd be suprised, a lot of celebrities including kpop idols are vain (that's why so many of them are botched), narcissistic, have superiority complexes, and will do unspeakable acts to get what they want. fame blinds them and satan needs loyal slaves that will quite literally bend over for him and become his bitch. that's why they have to do such degrading and dehumanizing things behind closed doors to get to the top and go through programming so to fulfill his mission before his time is up.
