Tbh, I saw the date and immediately thought of this thread so posted it, and then looked at the meaning of the festival afterward. It's been around since 2012, but who is to say what is in mind possibly for this date, a big gathering of people and all back in New York City.

People are talking about a big event that we're about to "witness" that will mark a transformation in the way of humankind and it's going to begin with de solar eclipse (supposedly).

And the bible doesn't actually speak about september 23. It speaks about a prophecy that will happen (supposedly) in 09/23.

Not sure where you reside (I'm in Canada), but I'd guess you'd be aware already that the torch with flame is actually the Statue of Liberty .
What I wasn't aware of, until I saw the following website now, is it was named "Liberty Enlightening the World". I thought it was just more of a symbol of "freedom" to Americans, outwardly anyway.

Lol! It does all sound rather implausible!!!!! I guess if you take out the idea of a real God, and dismiss as a fanciful idea "Christ as died, Christ I see risen, Christ will come again", you can see the Bible through a far more knowing lens. Virgin birth, Red Sea parting, that silly story of Noah and God judging the world with the flood. Man - these Christians believe some unscientific garbage!
