some updates from Jim Stone's page-

"A UKRANIAN SU-27, perhaps the only one they managed to get airborne was forced to land in Romania because Russia destroyed every landing strip in Ukraine.
Confirmed: Russian ground vehicles are already crossing into Ukraine (APC's and tanks)
Confirmed: Fox News reporter killed.
Russia is now claiming it completely neutralized Ukraine's entire air force before Ukraine managed to get a single plane off the ground.
Nato invoking Article 4. This means they are going to have a powow but no decision to react has been reached yet.
CHINA HAS OFFICIALLY DECLARED RUSSIA'S ACTIONS ARE NOT AN INVASION. So that's set, we know where China stands.
One Russian jet shot down.

Ukraine is claiming 5 Russian jets shot down. UPDATE: Russia has stated they have not used airstrikes at all, everything that has exploded so far (three hours into this) has been due to artillery, cruise missiles, and ballistic missiles. That means Ukraine probably shot down NOTHING."

So he's changed his tune and is now apparently willing to risk everything for this power grab, and attack anyone. He seems to have lost the plot.
Nah he's writing a new story. Russia is claiming their actions are in defense of the Donbass. I agree Putin is shredding his agreements with the UN but it's the decision they've made. If we're going to quote Biden lol and that silly NYT quote at least hear Putin's real address:

http://en.kremlin.ru/events/president/news/67828

...“We are seeing how persistently the Kiev regime is being pumped with arms. Since 2014, the United States alone has spent billions of dollars for this purpose, including supplies of arms and equipment and training of specialists. In the last few months, there has been a constant flow of Western weapons to Ukraine, ostentatiously, with the entire world watching. Foreign advisors supervise the activities of Ukraine’s armed forces and special services and we are well aware of this.

Over the past few years, military contingents of NATO countries have been almost constantly present on Ukrainian territory under the pretext of exercises. The Ukrainian troop control system has already been integrated into NATO. This means that NATO headquarters can issue direct commands to the Ukrainian armed forces, even to their separate units and squads.

The United States and NATO have started an impudent development of Ukrainian territory as a theatre of potential military operations. Their regular joint exercises are obviously anti-Russian. Last year alone, over 23,000 troops and more than a thousand units of hardware were involved.

A law has already been adopted that allows foreign troops to come to Ukraine in 2022 to take part in multinational drills. Understandably, these are primarily NATO troops. This year, at least ten of these joint drills are planned. Obviously, such undertakings are designed to be a cover-up for a rapid buildup of the NATO military group on Ukrainian territory.

This is all the more so since the network of airfields upgraded with US help … is capable of transferring army units in a very short time. Ukraine’s airspace is open to flights by US strategic and reconnaissance aircraft and drones that conduct surveillance over Russian territory. I will add that the US-built Maritime Operations Centre in Ochakov makes it possible to support activity by NATO warships, including the use of precision weapons, against the Russian Black Sea Fleet and our infrastructure on the entire Black Sea Coast.”

...“With regard to the state of affairs in Donbass, we see that the ruling Kiev elites never stop publicly making clear their unwillingness to comply with the Minsk Package of Measures to settle the conflict and are not interested in a peaceful settlement. On the contrary, they are trying to orchestrate a blitzkrieg in Donbass as was the case in 2014 and 2015. We all know how these reckless schemes ended.

Not a single day goes by without Donbass communities coming under shelling attacks. The recently formed large military force makes use of attack drones, heavy equipment, missiles, artillery and multiple rocket launchers. The killing of civilians, the blockade, the abuse of people, including children, women and the elderly, continues unabated. As we say, there is no end in sight to this. (Note: None of this has been reported in the western media. There has been a complete blackout of news related to the relentless depredations of the Ukrainian Army.)

Meanwhile, the so-called civilized world, which our Western colleagues proclaimed themselves the only representatives of, prefers not to see this, as if this horror and genocide, which almost 4 million people are facing, do not exist. But they do exist and only because these people did not agree with the West-supported coup in Ukraine in 2014 and opposed the transition towards the Neanderthal and aggressive nationalism and neo-Nazism which have been elevated in Ukraine to the rank of national policy. They are fighting for their elementary right to live on their own land, to speak their own language, and to preserve their culture and traditions...

How long can this tragedy continue? How much longer can one put up with this? Russia has done everything to preserve Ukraine’s territorial integrity. All these years, (Russia) has persistently and patiently pushed for the implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 2202 of February 17, 2015, which consolidated the Minsk Package of Measures of February 12, 2015, to settle the situation in Donbass.

Everything was in vain. Presidents and Rada deputies come and go, but deep down the aggressive and nationalistic regime that seized power in Kiev remains unchanged. It is entirely a product of the 2014 coup, and those who then embarked on the path of violence, bloodshed and lawlessness did not recognize then and do not recognize now any solution to the Donbass issue other than a military one.

In this regard, I consider it necessary to take a long overdue decision and to immediately recognize the independence and sovereignty of the Donetsk People’s Republic and the Lugansk People’s Republic.

I would like to ask the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation to support this decision and then ratify the Treaty of Friendship and Mutual Assistance with both republics. These two documents will be prepared and signed shortly.

We want those who seized and continue to hold power in Kiev to immediately stop hostilities. Otherwise, the responsibility for the possible continuation of the bloodshed will lie entirely on the conscience of Ukraine’s ruling regime.”

You believe Putin over the rest of the world?

I believe neither more than the other, but I have no reason at all to trust Putin anymore than anyone else in this game and this speech of his has known nonsense in it. Just propaganda from the other side.

Known nonsense, like what? Of course those are the facts of the conditions in the Donbass region. There's been conflict since 2014. Biden and his puppet Zelensky never intended to honor the Minsk treaty. The State Department howled about Russia for 2 months with daily propaganda to incite the Bear- they got exactly what they wanted- the breakup of the NS2 gas pipeline deal with Germany.

I don't fully trust Putin but I trust the US MIC less.

Comments over at RT. I'd rather read there than Politico or NPR:

Condor • 11 minutes ago
The ignorant hubris laden American idiots and Anglo-Zionist
warmongers simply don't understand the Russian psyche and solid character.
Russia is a massive country of acute nationalism and cultural refinement that
behaves with principles and honor, but has readiness to sacrifice for the
motherland as history has continuously shown. In Russian character the stoic
individualism become collective iron fist when threatened by aggressors. The
American queers should not underestimate Russian resolve.
Russians often view Kiev, now the Ukrainian capital and once
the centre of the medieval Kyivan Rus, as the birthplace of their nation.
Well-known Russian-language writers, such as Nikolai Gogol and Mikhail
Bulgakov, came from Ukraine, as did Communist revolutionary Leon Trotsky and
Soviet leader Leonid Brezhnev. Ukraine’s Jew clown president, Volodymyr
Zelenskyy, now speaks Ukrainian ( a corrupted dialect of Russian language) in
public but first gained fame as a Russian-language comedian who performed
across the former Soviet Union.

"Today it becomes clear that Russian military had it enough of Putin's boot licking and forced him to undertake the right steps. The war and all of the Nazis revolution and terror in Ukraine has to stop at once. Russia has to demolish Ukraine using Western recipe of "divide et impera" in order to return back this land to pre Lenin status. That means Ukrainian Nazis will have minuscule part of westernmost land known as Galicia where they will become a small landlocked and totally unimportant state which even West would not want to touch wit a long shitty pole.

Today is finally a day when people can watch upon Russia as a impassable obstacle for the Fascist countries which clearly and openly support Nazism in Baltic states, Romania, and above all Ukraine. As a human I feel ashamed of being a citizen of the country which is still under the USA occupation and has no willpower to break these chains of slavery the USA put on us. Today is bright day to see Nazism falling into sewer once again. Once in the past Red Army liberated the world of Nazis and it seems that it will have to do it once again.

Let me finish with best wishes to Russian military and the freedom wishing people in Ukraine and that their flags free of Nazi oppression will fly high."

Remember nothing happens with the powers that be without having been planned years ahead. The wars are planned and this is no different.

President Franklin D. Roosevelt said, “In politics, nothing happens by accident. If it happens, you can bet it was planned that way.”

Putin said the following:

"Now a few important, very important words for those who may be tempted to intervene in ongoing events from the outside," Putin said. "Whoever tries to interfere with us, and even more so to create threats to our country, to our people, should know that Russia's response will be immediate and will lead you to such consequences as you have never experienced in your history. We are ready for any development of events. All necessary decisions in this regard have been made. I hope that I will be heard."

So he's changed his tune and is now apparently willing to risk everything for this power grab, and attack anyone. He seems to have lost the plot.
For as much faults as the US has, we are still a military super power capable of vaporizing a country in a matter of minutes.

So let’s say Putin puts his money where his mouth is, and attacks LA, NYC or any city in the US. Russia will be history

Whats the range of american nukes / missiles ? If they wanted to nuke them, from where would it take place ? Rockets have limited range ,the longer the distance u wanna shoot it the bigger it has to be so it will pop up on radar . Russia probably has some spy satellites keeping an eye on USA .They would see it coming if launched from there.
Nuclear sub is another option ,but from where to launch ?Russians keep an eye on baltic sea ,black sea and arctic circle .
One of the reasons west wanted Crimea so badly for themselves - would be very easy to nuke russia from there . Otherwise it is a bit complicated.

Why do you think area 51 is so secretive?
The US has a bunch of weapons that even us American citizens do not know about.

Lemme put it this way. All the threats from Russia, China and North Korea spanning decades back but they’ve never actually carried out a threatening attack on US soil.

The US has operations set up globally when push comes to shove.

As an American, I am very suspicious of my own government but in full arsenal war. Any country is running the risk of being non existent

Russia has more nukes than the USA and they have hypersonic missiles. Don't be so cocky.

People can say what they want, but this is all the fault of the US.

They broke up the USSR. (Yea it goes back to that)

They militarized NATO further encroaching on Russian territory.

They overthrew elected president of Ukraine in 2014 to install an American puppet.

What business do they have fucking with a country half way around the world ? And they have been doing this to countries for half a century.

This is what happens when the US acts belligerent across the globe and meddles in others affairs.

All the “attacks” in the Donbas were Russian false flags. There was video and they couldn’t even fake it realistically.

It wasn’t a “coup” in 2014 either, the people of Ukraine wanted to look West instead of backward in time to a fanatical Orthodox regime that has historically oppressed them.

Putin’s imperial ambitions are clear as made clear in his speeches. As I said, it’s part of Neo-Eurasianism. Dugin really has infected Putin’s mind.
