The first part of Genesis 6:4 tells us, "There were giants on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men and they bore children to them."

This is how it is read.

There were giants/nephilim before the Flood... and also after.

Giants/nephilim came to be before the Flood because sons of God mated with women.

Also after the Flood there were giants/nephilim... but how they came to be is not mentioned.

Maybe some giants/nephilim survived the Flood or sons of God were at it again ?

Perhaps giants/nephilim genes were brought into the Ark by one of the women ?

What we know is that giants are common in folklore and megaliths are still seen and smithsonians are busy suppressing giant bones.

For some reason the existence of giants are above top secret... and that's why i think you're a troll.
According to The SDA church, the sons of God are other "Adams" from different planets, who didn't fall-- unlike Adam here on earth, who did fall. And...

"... Jesus being the last Adam,
is fitted to be the Earth’s representative."

Truly it absolutely refers to angels who mated with women.

That's why there are tares... and a serpent seed.

That's why there are demons and bulls of Bashan.

That's why there are aliens and anal probes. L0L
Clearly phipps is not led by the true Spirit if she can't recognize the Gen6 "sons of God" were fallen angels. That's probably why she got so many thing wrong.

The flood.

The story of the sons of God (righteous people) and the daughters of God (unrighteous People) serves as a warning to us as to what will happen to us at the end of time if we do not heed God's warnings.

The sons of God were righteous people who married unrighteous people and the Bible shows us how things went from bad to worse. They compromised God's Word and rejected God. God does not want His children marrying the unconverted or the unbelieving. The Bible is filled with stories about the sons of God mingling with the daughters of men and the disasters that follow as a result. Samson, chosen by God, was derailed by the Philistine women. His parents pled with him to avoid marrying a pagan bride, but he insisted on having what he wanted (Judges 14:3). Solomon no doubt believed that he could marry the daughters from pagan nations and convert them. However, those pagan daughters drew away Solomon’s heart. This is why God is so adamant about His children not marrying unbelievers. It is almost always the case that the believer is gradually transformed by the unbeliever, not the other way around. 2 Corinthians 6:14-16 tells us, "Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God."

In Genesis 6, right after the sons of God marry the daughters of men, God said, "My Spirit shall not strive with man forever, for he is indeed flesh; yet his days shall be one hundred and twenty years” (Genesis 6:3). God gave mankind 120 years before the flood. Why? Genesis 6:5-7 tells us, "Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And the Lord was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. So the Lord said, “I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping thing and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them.”

When God created man, He created them in His image and they were supposed to reflect His image too. God made man to be holy, happy creatures. So it broke His heart when not long after sin had entered this world man had become so selfish having evil thoughts continually. Their actions reflected their works too. And so God said He would destroy man whom He had made.

However God did not destroy man immediately. He gave them 120 years in which to repent and turn back to Him. During that period Noah preached to them, warning them about the coming flood while building the Ark as God commanded him. Instead they mocked Him and made fun of Him because of their unbelief. In those days people lived long lives so they would have still been alive 120 years later when the Ark was finished and they saw the animals go into the Ark.

God made provision where anybody could be saved just as He was saving Noah and his family. The Ark was big enough to take a lot of people but very few responded, in fact only Noah's family responded.

It must have been a complete shock and surprise to them when it started raining. The Bible compares Jesus' second coming to the flood. Jesus said, "As the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be” (Matthew 24:37–39).

The people of Noah’s day “did not know” because they were unprepared. God gave them warning after warning, but they were intent on living life without the Lord. The same will be true today. People will be utterly caught off guard by Jesus’ return, even though the signs of Christ’s second coming are shouting at us from every corner of the globe plus He has warned us over and over too.

We see that man cannot sin with impunity and reject God's warnings forever. God through Noah warned the antediluvians for 120 years and their salvation depended upon how they responded to the warnings. In the end they chose to reject God's warnings and God withdrew His Spirit from them and they perished in the waters of the Flood.

As in Noah’s day, before the Flood, things that led to the destruction of the world with a deluge by water are going to happen again. They are a preview of what’s going to happen before the destruction of the world by a flood of fire when Jesus returns. History is going to repeat itself, but we don’t have to be among the repeat offenders.

Well we see through a glass darkly and prophecy in part... not even the shepherde got the full picture.

It could be that the nephilim were genetically engineered by the sons of God... and so not the result of sexual relations between sons of God and women. What is absolutely certain is that the nephilim were not exactly humans... partly yes at best.

Not sure if you take the Book of Enoch as credible but it is referenced in the Book of Jude. It was recorded in Enoch that they had sexual relations and the result was the Nephilims.

All things considered, it's just unusual to me how you want to show us your personal standpoints in huge paragraphs without actually discussing it with other people. It's giving me "Comprehend this information, believe me, and go on your way" vibes. And you do this quite often which is also giving major red flags.

And regarding the "lost books" topic, many scriptures have been removed. White people burnt a lot of them, some are hidden within the Vatican, and God ordered one of his prophets to hide a few scriptures because there is some information we are not currently meant to acquire yet, which is why there are videos of people travelling and randomly finding pieces of scripture that is in Hebrew (the first language)

Next, regarding "sons of God" I personally think whites over the years have translated many things purposely incorrectly. Why everyone is referred to as "mankind", "sons of God", "every man for himself" I believe those are from patriarchy and not the original narrative- so for all we know the original text concerning the fallen angels could've said "angels of God" and regarding Israel, the original text could've said "sons AND daughters of God" or just simply "children of God"
Politics and bigotry aside, you make some very good points.

Me saying white people are the PRIME ones who have translated the Bible is not equivalent to bigotry, it is historical facts. I'm telling you about the same consistent event that happened/happens in History and you deem it bigotry? It's just so amusing how if one brings up simple certitude about a certain race, it's immediately classified as racism. Like how else would you know whom I'm referring to if I don't mention the race?

More lies from the book of Enoch.

-
The Book of Enoch, claims there is an angel named Phanuel, "who is set over the repentance unto hope of those who inherit eternal life" (Enoch 40:9). Christians would almost universally agree that is blasphemous. Christ is our mediator, there is no other. (1 Timothy 2:5, 1 Peter 1:18-21 and many more).

- The Book of Enoch claims an angel named Gadreel supposedly led Eve astray, not Satan as the Bible tells us very clearly.

- The book of Enoch claims only 200 angels were cast to earth with Satan which is contrary to what the Bible says. According to the Bible Satan was cast down with a 1/3 of all the angels in heaven (Revelation 12:4) which is a huge number. The Bible tells us in Revelation 5:11, "Then I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne, the living creatures, and the elders; and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands." Ten thousand times ten thousand is a hundred million. And they were thousands of thousands more angles and that is not all them. Satan was cast out with millions of angels to earth, not just 200.

- Speaking of angels (Michael Gabriel, Raphael, Suryal, and Uriel), the book of Enoch says, "And now to you, O ye holy ones of heaven, the
souls of men complain, saying, Obtain Justice for us with the Most High"
(Enoch 9:1-3). After that it says they intercede with God for mankind. This is blasphemy!

Paul wrote, "For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5), Peter said, "Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." (Acts 4:12), even Jesus said of himself, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me" (John 14:6).

Anyone who is familiar with scripture and reads the Book of Enoch can easily tell it just does not fit into the Bible narrative. This is something that those who agree with bits and pieces of it will gloss over or are just not familiar enough with scripture or the plan of salvation to know any better.

They cherry pick not only from the book of Enoch what suits their doctrine while discarding most of it, but from the Bible as well. They choose not to believe the Bible's account of what happened with the sons of God, the daughters of men and their children and how sin escalated and after that their thoughts were continually evil that God had to destroy them with the flood except Noah and his family. The issue was about sin not alien hybrid creatures who according to the book of Enoch were 450 feet! Does that even sound right?

I know. The book of Enoch says the giants were 450 feet tall (300 cubits). It says so in Enoch 7:2. It goes on to say in the next verses that the antediluvians exhausted themselves trying to feed these oversized giants, that the giants turned on the antediluvian people and started eating them, and that then they started eating each other and drinking blood (Enoch, chapter 7).

Well they do come from a LITERAL demonic bloodline so that's not too surprising. I'll have to start looking at books that have been removed from the Bible and pray for understanding because, most people when they think that books have been removed, they think only books from the middle section of the Bible were removed.

No, there are various scriptures that have been taken out in the beginning of the Bible (Genesis) AND possibly Revelations (the end of the Bible) so not only that, but we still don't know the full story of Genesis and some things that are happening in our modern timeline could be questionable because we never saw a mention of it in the Bible. What if something is happening right now that is stated in Revelations but we don't know because it got taken out?

Maybe overthinking isn't always bad after all.

There is no such thing as demonic bloodlines in the Bible. There are only human bloodlines. Demons cannot procreate and sire any offspring. They never have and never will. To believe that the giants were 450 feet tall is believing in a complete lie.

The books in the Bible are all the books that we need and God had preserved them through the ages and forever. God is in complete control of everything including His Word, He is the one the put it together and inspired it (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21). There is nothing missing in His Word. If its not in the Bible, its not meant to be and its no coincidence its not I'm afraid.

The Bible contains everything a person needs to know and do in order to be saved. All truth necessary for salvation and spiritual life is taught either explicitly or implicitly in Scripture. The Bible reveals God’s will and points us to Jesus, who saves us from our sins (John 5:39; 20:31). Also the Bible is clear enough that anyone can read it for himself or herself and discover the basic path to salvation. That doesn't mean that we don't need pastors, teachers, or Bible commentaries to help us understand the Bible. The Bible contains things that are difficult to understand (2 Peter 3:14-16). It has depths of meaning beyond what any of us see. But it’s basic message of salvation is simple enough and clear enough for anyone to understand and follow. These people have have got to teach Bible doctrine and nothing else.

And when it comes to the book of Revelation, chapter 1 verse 3 says, "Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near." The book of Revelation was written to show God's people "things which must shortly come to pass" (Revelation 1:1). This is true for all generations of God's people—from the time it was written to the very end of time. God has always wanted His people to be informed, aware, and warned about future difficulties. Plus Revelation 1:1 says, "The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants—things which must shortly take place. And He sent and signified it by His angel to His servant John." The word "Revelation" means “an unveiling of.” The book of Revelation is the “Revelation of Jesus.” He is its author; it is a message straight from Him. So none of it is sealed (as some claim it is) nor is there anything missing from it.

Overthinking is bad when it takes you away from the Word of God. The Bible is the only authority for what Christians should believe and practice.

Phipps, it's like you're two-faced when it comes to the Bible.

There is a such thing as demonic bloodlines. Fallen angels did in fact procreate with women in which they gave birth to evil offspring who grew up to be giants.

No. There are missing books and scriptures that have been removed for the purposes of God's chosen never finding out, but his chosen are in fact finding out so that was a complete fail on the opposing sides part. And even then, God's people still won't have all necessary information obtained which is why I like to think he will reveal more of what his enemies hid from his people on the day of judgment.

Oh, I'm not a Christian. False religions are not my thing.

I just got through reading half of the book of Enoch, which is one of the books that got removed, and I've just been informed many things that make sense and coincide with the rest of the Bible. "The books in the Bible are all the books we need" my ass. God is providing me the sources, same thing with my fellow brothers and sisters.

And God even says himself he will absolutely annihilate those who messed with his word, which would be white people on the upper hierarchy who translated the Bible and made sure slaves didn't learn how to read because they didn't want them finding out they were the true Jews of God.

If you know, you know. And don't accuse me of being racist either; this is just historical facts.

Not according to the Bible (which is the true Word of God) and this thread is based on what the Bible teaches of the nephilim/giants not from other books that are not part of the Bible or inspired by God.

Not according to the Bible which is the truth and nothing but the truth of God. And I showed you actual scripture that disagrees with what you're saying.

Oh, I'm not a Christian. False religions are not my thing.
That will explain you having these false beliefs but its sad that you share these same beliefs with professed Christians here. Christianity is not false when it follows the truth of God's Word.

I just got through reading half of the book of Enoch, which is one of the books that got removed, and I've just been informed many things that make sense and coincide with the rest of the Bible. If you want to believe the book of Enoch and all of its false claims that's your choice but it has never been removed from the Bible because it was never part of it and never will be. Its a hoax and most of it contradicts the Bible. If anything contradicts the Bible its a complete falsity no matter how many similarities it may seem to have with the Bible. The Bible is about complete truth or its a lie.

And God even says himself he will absolutely annihilate those who messed with his word, which would be white people on the upper hierarchy who translated the Bible and made sure slaves didn't learn how to read because they didn't want them finding out they were the true Jews of God.
Many people have attempted to change the Bible but God has protected His Word. That is why the book of Enoch and the other "lost books" are not in the Bible and its not through luck of trying. Like I told you God is always in control.

If you know, you know. And don't accuse me of being racist either; this is just historical facts.
And you clearly don't know. I will pray that God lead you to the truth. I wasn't going to accuse you of racism though I did notice even from a previous post of yours that you seem preoccupied with white people changing and messing with the Bible. Its not about race when it comes to Satan. He doesn't care who he uses to distort God's Word. He wants us all to lose our lives eternally regardless of race. The Great controversy between God and Satan has never been about race, its about all people in the world.

Goodbye.

Conclusion according to the Bible about the Nephilim/Giants.

1.
Biblically (God's doctrine) giants/nephilim existed before the sons of God went into the daughters of men. This should be enough to explain that the giants/nephilim were not the result of cross-breeding between fallen angels and human women. But there is more proof from the Bible that word "nephilim", which is translated into giants in Numbers 13, is also used to describe the inhabitants of Canaan which were giants. All of the giants before the flood died in the flood, so where did the Nephilim that were in the promised land come from? Its clear none of the giants in the Bible were hybrids of angels with humans, they were human beings just like you and me except bigger.

Interestingly the giants before and after the flood were also renowned for their wickedness. As I posted in my second post in this thread, "The Hebrew word translated as “giant” in Genesis 6:4, is Nephilim, meaning “fallen ones,” or “violent ones.”

2.
Biblically angels do not procreate with each other let alone cross-breed with humans. Jesus said that angels do not marry, and are not given in marriage. God only ever intended for us to have children within marriage and if angels can't marry, they can't, have sexual relations and procreate with themselves or with human beings or any other creatures that God created. The institution of marriage was given only to human beings and God told them only to “Be fruitful and multiply" (Genesis 1:28).

3. The widest context of the entire Bible shows that the sons of God are those who have been born again and have submitted and are obedient to God.

4. The wider context of Genesis shows that the battle is between good and evil, between God and Satan.

5. The book of Enoch is a sham that contradicts the Bible.

When we put all the facts together (there are more) that the "sons of God" cannot be fallen angels and Nephilim were definitely not half fallen angel half human hybrids according to the Bible. The book of Enoch should not be believed as having any truth from God. The book should be regarded as a work of fiction and nothing more.

Genesis 6:4, "There were giants on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown."

Giants/Nephilim existed before sons of God and daughters of men intermarried.

Some Christians read Genesis 6:4 to mean that the giants were only the offspring of the sons of God and the daughters of men. However the Bible shows that giants lived on the earth even before the inter-marriages between the sons of God and the daughters of men.

The first part of Genesis 6:4 tells us, "There were giants on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men and they bore children to them." So the giants/nephilim existed before and after the sons of God and daughters of men bore children together. So who were the parents of the nephilim before the sons of God married the daughters of men?
Demons.

Proof from the Bible please? Unless this is sarcasm.
I believe the book of Enoch addresses it.
The scriptures you quoted broach it and there is a passage in Numbers.
Will try to link stuff later when I can.

There are no scriptures in the Bible that broach the subject of demons siring offspring with humans. That is a lie. Numbers 13:31-33, “The land through which we have gone as spies is a land that devours its inhabitants, and all the people whom we saw in it are men of great stature. There we saw the giants (the descendants of Anak came from the giants); and we were like grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight.” And Deuteronomy 1:28 says, “The people are greater and taller than we; the cities are great and fortified up to heaven; moreover we have seen the sons of the Anakim there.” The Israelites called the giants people. “The people are greater and taller than we.” They were very large people, but they were just people. Unless you link me to stuff that agrees with Bible doctrine that the giants were human just like we are except large, you will be wasting your time.

As I've shown in this thread and others the book of Enoch is a false book that has so many lies in it and contradicts the entire Bible as I posted here and here in this very thread. That is why its not part of the Bible and is not inspired of God.
