That was me with Kpop so I got sucked in too. Kdramas or the ones I saw were really really bad, maybe I was lucky that way. The woman is a ditz, the man is an a**hole that's always pulling her arm. Their is usually some kind of love triangle plus side characters have to fall in love too. Romance every time no matter what the plot is. I liked one at first until around the end and that was Romance is a bonus book and that was because the female lead was older and smart and the drama dealt with real life issues. But yeah...
And you're right about western dramas...way too many stereotypes. And it's always procedural..about a doctor, cop, or a lawyer. Boring! If you've seen one you've seen them all.
Omg. So accurate. I don't watch tv since so much years now. Like you said, once you have seen one, you have watched them all. We support so much programming everywhere. Two years ago, I thought I was safer since I didn't watch any series or even the informations anymore. How I was wrong. Because even if I just go on YT, it's the new television with the contents you are used to watch, plus these fucking recommandations put by force and commercials you can't escape anymore. If you speak about this type of kdrama, of course me neither I could fall into them. Horrendous. Just want to punch all the cast xD and it was just an extract.
