Greetings!
I need your help in convincing a few of my misguided dear and near ones.
For a while now I have been observing silently the disturbing effects of KPop in my classmates and acquaintances, they seem to be in a trance, unwilling to listen to the voice of reason, forfeiting their future and drawing the ire of their parents.
My best friends have deemed themselves bisexual just a few months after getting heavily involved in the Army fandom, they spend a startling majority of their time reading repulsive gay fanfics to the point where they derelict their duties as students.
They are hurtling down a course of self destruction and I am helplessly distraught.
I am a polytheist and not a follower of Christ but I do know from experience that this alone will not dissuade you from helping me out In this time of need.

How can I make them see light?

I sincerely hope it doesn’t come to that.. We have been through a lot together. My academic prowess derived a wedge between the three of us but even that rocky phase we were able to tide through but this Kpop nuisance invaded their lives and now our friendship has transitioned into a toxic one.. It’s draining me mentally. To see them throw away their lives like that while I stand and watch helplessly causes an indescribable pain.

I will abide by your advise and severe ties with them as painful as it will be

Thank you very much.., I fear they are too deep in the rabbit hole but it’s a worth a try.
Their families are evonomically well off than mine and needless to say their parents font give a care.. They will not be getting iron hand treatment from anyone. We are expatriates, so mo Grandparents to keep an eye on them too.

I was an Army for the same length as you. I felt weird after a few days, because I'd never seen a relationship like the one they have with each other. It seems genuine until you dig under the fakeness. The skinship was odd but I felt it was their culture. The fanservice was very different. Most fandoms have it but it doesn't mean pretend to have sex with other men. It's usually bringing back characters, or doing stuff fans like. Their fans like men who look and act gay, while pretending to be brothers who are dating. Each other.

Another problem was the plagiarism, racism of their fans and problematic behavior of the members. Their fans also played a huge role in turning me off. They won't let anyone criticize btees. Doing that means you're racist, homophobic, transphobic and a terrible person. Saying they look like girls is homophobic but refusing to give them a Grammy is homophobic too. But if they blow kisses, wear makeup and hump each other, that's straight. That doesn't make any sense. Watching how they released a statement before the Grammys accusing the judges of being racist, transphobic and homophobic was surreal.

The I and Karmys were pissed af when btees didn't win. Saying Americans think they can do anything. That's an actual quote. It's an American award. When an American artist or citizen can demand and get special treatment in Korea, we'll talk. The last straw was their obvious xenophobia towards anyone and anything not Korean. I'll spend my dollars on my own country's musicians thank you very much. I refuse to spend a dime on btees who could care less about me, don't care about international Armys and are greedy, never mind their owners get almost 100 percent of their earnings. Sorry to rant but they piss me off.

Interesting. I don’t see as much clips and excitement after their Lotte concert as they usually receive.

Must be the lack of colored permed hair and noticeable girlie eye-shadow and lipstick.

That should be a warning sign for them personally.

They're looking more masculine. There is a new generation of boys looking like men, or girls like boys. They don't want these used up men. His leg hair ruined my appetite. I thought it would look smooth and silky. It's like worms and really gross. They usually dress feminine in colorful clothes in Asia and more masculine in America. I think they looked miserable. A lot of their energy comes from the crowds and fans.

Anyone else think that Jk looks like he smells like butt crack, sweat and 'd**k cheese'? He's so sweaty most of the time, hair looking greasy and always running around. You can tell he smells bad. I heard Tae stinks too. It's nasty to rub or touch yourself in public. The post called this boyfriend culture. They're ruining young people's ability to pick a good person to be with.

it's so obvious what this band are
they sell an image of sex, while at the same time trying to make it "iinocent", dressed like kids while making sexy faces and poses.
Compare them now to their debut!! they are different people

of course now with the Harry Styles and Conan Grey era of boys dressed like girls, this is considered "hot" lol no thanks
