.....Thanks GIF, etalogic and grateful servant....
lets all withdraw from society and live on a mountain top....:D
Nah, I kinda like my urban life.

Tried the country for a while, is not for me. I am a happy city dweller.

I like nature but I prefer being able to go to all the stores I want within walking distance and be able to do fun things too.

Till when will that last though? Until your last breath? And then what?

Is it all you ache for? Only personal satisfaction through gratification of own whims and desires?

Yeah my elementary students had a habit of singing that "all my friends are dead" song which is about drugs and suicide as far as I can tell. They looked at me like I had ten heads when I told them it was inappropriate and they needed to stop.

??? Don't parents watch what their kids are doing? I know the answer, it just boggles my mind! I don't even let my kids listen to the radio, we listen to kid's songs. (They are 4 and 3) my 18 year old can sort of pick her music, but even then I veto.

The firs time time I heard that song my 13 year old came home from junior high and played it for me like "listen to this awesome song mom" not even a minute into the song I lost it and made him turn it off and had an hour long convo about is he depressed because why would he think that was a cool song blah blah

Then like two weeks later a fourth grader in the class I work in was singing it in lunch and when I told him it was inappropriate a table full of little kids jumped on me that I did t know what I was talkjng about lol

And then the last day of school my kindergartner in a different class was singing it.

I can only assume with the younger kids its the PARENTS who are exposing them. They see nothing wrong with it it's just music after all or kids are just kids. Blah blah.

I still do think people should need to pass a test to parent sometimes

There's always a catchy inappropriate song kids cling to. Here's a few ridiculous songs I hear on a daily basis in class, although my students aren't children, I still think 17 and 18 year olds shouldn't be listening to this crap, or anyone for that matter.

Those unfamiliar with the London 'Grime' scene, it's shit don't bother.

I literally hate Future and all these ridiculously untalented American 'rappers'

His raspy voice, repetitive and imbecilic lyrics just don't sit with me.

Rap is dead man.

I can't listen to rap anymore either. I was a hip hop head practically my whole life and now I just turn it off. I get annoyed when anyone puts it on. It's vile and angry and filthy now.. with no redeeming qualities and the rappers aren't even talented anymore it seems. I don't want to hear about hoes and crack and shooting people - especially not without any substance or message whatsoever

There's no real message in hiphop anymore, you have ex police officers like Rick Ross charging around the stage like a fat rhino, talking about the hood and how he made it.

It's become a culture of excess, flaunting and strippers.

No thanks

Are they allowed to work outside the home?

Is it legal to pass a horse and buggy in your car?

Is there drug use among their population?

My husband just got assigned a job in Amish country (Lancaster pa) and I drove him to work - the construction site has all what appears to be Amish roofers, I drove past a half dozen horse and buggies and was seriously perplexed about protocol for that.. and it's nice down here so I'm wondering if maybe it might be a drug free haven since so much of the population is Amish but not all

I bet the amish kids are jealous of all the cool stuff other kids can have/do.
