Great new VC article. https://vigilantcitizen.com/

This is an unprecedented response, for healthy people without symptoms to wear masks...

Common question
Is there asymptomatic transmission of the coronavirus disease?

An asymptomatic laboratory-confirmed case is a person infected with COVID-19 who does not develop symptoms. Asymptomatic transmission refers to transmission of the virus from a person, who does not develop symptoms.

There are few reports of laboratory-confirmed cases who are truly asymptomatic, and to date, there has been no documented asymptomatic transmission. This does not exclude the possibility that it may occur. Asymptomatic cases have been reported as part of contact tracing efforts in some countries. WHO regularly monitors all emerging evidence about this critical topic and will provide an upda te as more information becomes available.

I’ve lost a lot of respect for this site and whomever is writing the articles. Half of the articles now are in quotes. Focus on the entertainment industry and conspiracy theories. Leave the science discussion for those that actually study sciences. They know what they’re talking about. Not politicians or bloggers. Wear your fucking masks so those that are immunocompromised aren’t at risk. It’s a damn mask, how much easier can it get to not spread viruses? I hate this site sometimes, not everything is a damn conspiracy!

I hope you wear your mask during flu season like a good little sheep.

Science is political
Science is a paradigm of belief and not equivalent with objective fact
Every scientist is paid by someone so it is also corporate

You can your mask if youre scared of the air. Not everyone is though

What if I was allergic to other people's hair or something weird like that. Would it be acceptable for me to force everyone to wear a hat when they are around me? Probably not, but somehow it became acceptable to force anyone to wear a mask.

At least in my allergy example, I have real reasoning to try to force people to wear hats. Like it's not just a figment of the imagination or the 24hour news cycle that has to churn out bullshit piece after bullshit piece.

Science is based not on belief. But in fact, through testing multiple times and coming to a conclusion based on the results of testing. There is no faith involved. Just cold hard fact.

Hair allergies haven’t cost hundreds of thousands of lives. But if they did, then yes, there should be precautions. Like chefs in kitchens wearing hair nets. You don’t want hair in your food, so they wear a hair net. Should we call them sheep?

Deaths to allergic reactions are more common than you think. And yes some precautions are taken, but they are fairly reasonable requests. You asking me personally to wear a mask around you is fine, it's perfectly reasonable. Just like a person with peanut allergies asking a restaurant for no peanuts. Asking everyone to wear a mask, is not reasonable though. That's like asking for the removal of peanuts everywhere.

My daughter’s school doesn’t allow peanuts because a small percentage is allergic. My point being sometimes there are rules we must follow even though some person may deem that unreasonable. It’s for the greater good. And walk to your local drug store and see how many allergy medications there are. It’s nothing like the situation with Covid-19. This is a new threat and we must take precautions until it’s under control. The mask is a temporary measure. People act like we’re in Nazi Germany. During the war, for YEARS, people rationed food and energy for the greater good. People now are just snowflakes and selfish.

Not mandatory, different strains, vaccines not always effective, more deadly considering fatality age ranges.... what do you recommend ?
And neither is this upcoming Covid vaccine. Nothing is “mandatory”. We are asking people to wear masks to protect people for a few months. What’s the big deal? Not many viruses are this contagious, and since it’s still novel (new) we don’t know how it affects you until you get it. Why risk your health and everyone around you?

Yeah, allergies aren't a new thing, and schools especially know removing peanuts will work better than any medicine. Viruses also aren't a new thing. The conventional wisdom is that viruses are ridiculously small, and a cloth mask as a substitute for physical distance is not going to work.

I wonder if you are being reactionary. Like when you said, "until it's under control" or "temporary measure" that's like leaving everything up in the air. You want us to trust doctors when they are the ones who told us masks don't work. You want other people to be reasonable, but ignore the practical problems implementing your strategy.

TL;DR we're not selfish, you're the one who's selfish.

One of the main purposes of The Event is to force people to further polarize themselves and finally choose one or the other: selflessness or selfishness. That’s about all I can say while respecting free will. Put the pieces together and you might see exactly what I mean and how it relates to the attitudes surrounding this particular hot button.

Is this level of restriction-oriented response warranted? (I don’t think so) Considering the rate of asymptotic that don’t require treatment? I’m not sure why it continues at this point....at least to such a degree. See the new normal in the last column. I believe we are still at Stage 1 in NJ.

There is a vaccine and medication for the flu, bad example
Is there? Or is that what you've been programmed to believe?

How would you know what's in the flu vaccine, much less its efficacy? How would you know for certain that the flu vaccine wasn't actually CAUSING the flu (or worse, depending upon what poisons are in the vaccine, and in what amounts)?
