Enough of your lies.
This is the twitter post that got things started.
From CBS affiliate KX News in Bismark, ND
I think that you need to work on getting references to match the argument that you are making. You basically posted an irrelevant clip to the argument that Fox news was not the primary source for the claim that hospitals have an incentive to claim people as covid because they are receiving a reimbursement amount that is padded to provide incentive.
This clip never mentions this point. It is completely useless in doing anything other than creating the appearance that you are posting a counterargument. The clip discusses identifying covid patients on death certificates. What does that have to do with bogus claims presented on Fox intended to stir the pot by suggesting to people who don't know better that there is a financial incentive to claiming a patient has covid?
You are welcome to try to make a better argument to support your belief that this is all overblown. I would welcome something more substantial but as a healthcare worker with some experience and familiarity with hospital billing, you are not doing yourself any favors by repeating a claim that I know based on experience is false. There is no financial incentive in taking covid patients no matter where you are in the country. Even in New York, they are losing millions of dollars having ambulatory surgery centers shut down for this.
It is an absurd claim to make and it demonstrates a sort of tunnel vision to your argument that makes the information you are presenting no more beneficial than mainstream media. If you want to post something in response that actually helps your argument, you could try to find an instance that demonstrates some location that appears to be financially benefiting. Good luck with that though considering the direction this line of reasoning is leaning is that it was false and misleading to begin with based on the numerous articles showing that healthcare workers are being laid off and that most hospitals, even in New York, are looking to the government to supplement the money they are losing right now.
Making an argument is fine. Hanging on to a dead argument is not.
