Don't be silly, nows the perfect time to grow your own stash of mental bud. There won't be any cops around to bust you as they're all busy ensuring every soft bastard is standing far enough away from eachother and stop and searching people for suspected breaches of toilet roll allowances.
While that’s true weed is not enough to squelch someone looking for a heroin or cocaine high typically.

It would serve protestors well to realize that even if ALL restrictions are lifted tomorrow they won’t “be getting their life back” for quite some time. They sound like petulant toddlers entirely detached from reality.
I don’t blame them..they are used to freedom..

You really just don’t get it do you?

Literally everyone just “wants their life back” - if all restrictions were lifted tomorrow and the virus miraculously disappeared off the face of the earth, guess what? We still aren’t getting “our lives back” any time soon.

Complaining about it makes you sound like a child. Man up and adapt. Figure it out.

Granted but it could help take their mind of the cravings....smoke enough of the shit and I'm sure it would be "haaaaa I'll pick up some crack tomorrow"
I think this is what is happening now, I’m just not expecting it to hold when supply chains stabilize and people are allowed outside their homes again.

If everyone went back to work..I think we’d see exactly what the virus was all about, honestly.

Lisa.. again, you can lift all the restrictions tomorrow and the virus can go poof smoke into thin air. Shit is till not going to go back to normal. People are still not going to “get their lives back” the way they want them. I’m not sure how you don’t get this.

Personally, unless you are smoking weed because you are trying to curb a craving, I think smoking pot makes it worse. It helps until you realize it doesn't help and then it just becomes more difficult to not find a real substitute that will help at all cost. Alcohol is a much more likely substitute if you are not trying to stop because at least with alcohol, you can sleep through withdrawal, but weed only helps with withdrawal symptoms if that is what you want weed to help with. The mental side of addiction is why this whole phenomenon is most surprising.

I’d say let’s try it and see what happens.

You only ever wanted people to have the freedom to live how they were living, when you agreed with how they were living. That has not changed.
She did I say that? However, I do mention sin..maybe that’s what you’re thinking about instead?

People escape with what’s available. If alcohol is what’s available.. alcohol it will be. The response cost of trying to cop hard drugs right now - even outside of the shortage and increased prices - is crazy.. can’t social distance while doing a hand off and the neighborhoods where you would go to cop, atleast jn the north east, have high corona cases and corresponding increase of emergency vehicles in the area. Likelihood of getting knocked is higher then it was in January. So on top of shortages and costs you have other deterrents at the moment.
