No. Its not a gastro intestinal virus its spread from air particles person to person. Washing your hands after you receive the item is all the precaution you need
The workers touch your food when making it, breathes around it...didn’t one of the news stories say it stays in the air for 3 hours and on some surfaces for days?

Like, when did you care if someone dies around here?
I don’t think they will die for getting take out...just pointing out the inconsistencies in the reporting. If the virus is that contagious..we should have shut down all restaurants...even fast food. Should shut down the grocery stores too. I mean, those people touch the cans and the packages on the shelves, breathes on and possibly sneezes around it. Yet we come home and put it in our pantries like nothings going on and don’t get sick from it either...so there is a disconnect in what is being reported. We all should be in the hospital for Coronavirus because not everyone has been that careful and if the virus is soooo contagious...should have gotten everyone in the world by now.

Like I said its not gastro intestinal, its sitting in a restaurant breathing the same air as others that is a problem hence the given precautions. Let's not make 4 pages out of this lol

I seem to be the only real conspiracy theorist about the coronavirus around here.

Hope we see a lot more of this. The governments and elites of the world think they've found a way to revoke all rights and freedoms of civilians. We should NEVER hand over our rights because we know we will never get them back.

In canada we have 800 dead in 4 months, over 95% of which were in nursing homes. The people better not be ok with renouncing their rights for this. But we will see

Does anyone know what’s up with the price of eggs? They are like 3x as expensive now and continuing to go up in price

I overheard a woman asking a store worker why they had gone up so much, but I kept moving and didn't listen for the reply. Went up just in time for Easter, though...

I am actually getting tired of eating eggs of late, but I have an 18-pack stashed. No shortage of eggs my way. It seems toiletpapergeddon is over as well for that has been plentiful of late. Produce like oranges have been a little sketch tho.

Our stores are still completely sold out of toilet paper and eggs. I looked at Walmart today and the price of eggs is nuts.

Some grocery stores are limiting the amount people can buy, but Costco and Walmart don’t seem to be. I haven’t noticed a difference in price but I’m going to keep an eye out now.

Maybe I just hit the stores at the right time. There was plenty of bread as well but what we are seeing now are meat shortages. Smithfield meats are at a halt and there are other packing comoanies seeing issues. Hamburger is no longer cheap. I have some local farmers nearby who always have eggs but they jacked the price to 3 bucks a dozen. I have been impressed that we never had a water shortage,

We disinfect everything that comes from the grocery store. Then leave it untouched for a few hours before putting it away.

They want $6 for a thing of eggs that used to cost $2.80

I haven’t seen any bread shortages. Water is still sold out. Most meat also seems to still be scarce.. I really haven’t gone food shopping except for little things but I glanced at the online Walmart thing today cuz I need to go soon.
