The Whore is she who slept with the serpent, with the devil, got seduced by material temptation. The Virgin is she who remained pure and was able to resist those temptations.
I thought she was a virgin so that there was no doubt as to Jesus being the only begotten Son of God.

She resisted material temptation?

Contrary to the harlot, the adultress who didn't stay loyal to her God, Mary remained so.

Non sense, there was only one woman in the Garden, Eve and she never slept with the Serpent. Go back and read what Paul said about Eve, he validates the Old Testament account of the Garden. Regardless you dont even believe they were real, do you believe Mary was Real?

Of course.

Since Genesis is myth, both Jewish and Christian lore understands that Eve slept / copulated with Satan (their union engendered Cain), slept with the God of Eden (their union engendered Abel) and slept with Adam (their reunification engendered Seth, the "seed of Adam"). Eve, the woman (woman refers to all of us, men included!) has thus three aspects:

1. One that chooses the devil, seeking material wealth and bodily gratifications.
2. One that chooses the God of Eden (the demiurge), operating in the realm of justice and obedience.
3. One who reunites with the Husband (Adam, Christ) and is geared to spiritual things, goodness and forgiveness.

I go into more detail in my article, chapter 9.

According to tradition, that's why she was chosen, because the son of God had to be born from a pure body.
The Son of God had to be the only begotten Son of God...so He has to be born from a virgin to show that He wasn’t fully human. No human is pure...for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God...even Mary.

No, but I see no harm in it.
Why do you see no harm in praying to Mary?

Jesus was pure. That's the symbolism of the Virgin birth and Mary's Immaculate Conception. Is Jesus not human then?

Prayers to Mary are usually, if not all, requests to Mary to do intercession prayers to Christ / God on one's own or another's behalf. Mary is treated as an elevated saint. That's why they have a specific term for veneration of her, called hyperdulia, dulia being the veneration of saints. Latria, or worship, is reserved for the Holy Trinity.

Jesus is life because He’s God not because His mother was a virgin. She only needed to be a virgin so that He is God’s only begotten Son. Ya, Jesus is also human.

See, that’s wrong to pray to Mary. She is dead and can not hear prayers or intercede for anyone. That is why prayers to her are wrong. Jesus never said to pray to her...His example of prayer is to the Father only. Also no disciple/apostle prayed to her either. Praying to Mary is unbiblical..which is another reason catholicism is wrong.
