The dissolution and fracturing of many of these groups are reflecting this (how many have lost members this year? Momoland, Monsta X, Stray Kids, Ikon, Big Bang etc.), the problematic way the industry works is being exposed in some ways (but in controlled ways) with these suicides and greater openness on social media etc. All the companies are looking to pander to the West to replicate BTS' success. This was not the case even a decade ago.

It's changing things and it's going to change things hugely.

I think Kpop reached its peak more or less in 2017 and now the signs of the decline are visible. Of course, the decline won't happen from one day to the next but the signs are there. I think we've mentioned before, the industry is oversaturated, so it's obvious they need to pander to another markets. And perhaps, the gp is getting tired of the idol thing. I don't know, only time will tell.

I think it's been planned for a while. I'm like you - glad to see the demise of the idol era however it comes. The model is unsustainable and idiotic on many levels. Many hundreds of tweens and kids will be saved from the machinery. But what's coming next will probably make all of this look like child's play.

We'll have to see what comes next, likely a much more disturbing era than this one because the industry is more and more Westward-facing and that will bring even more explicitly evil crap with the likes of Chungha, Daniel, BTS, Idle, TXT et al. leading the bandwagon. BTS are merely the vanguard of the transition to the next phase, them and BigBang both had a big role to play. And I have no doubt that in about 5-8 years, BTS will experience the same ugly scandals BigBang has - possibly even worse.

I know about the spells and everything...I still don't know how most of the fans(as I have heard) move on once they are no longer teenager..thats why most Kpop fans are teenager

I can tell you why

It is easier for them to keep teenagers under spells than adults because :

1) a teenager's brain is not yet fully formed so with their spells they can put and keep anything they want in it (the part who is still undeveloped )

2) when they are adults i think most often the rest of the brain who was already formed beforehand takes the upper hand and it resolves and disappears
(Even if the spells is strong )
(If the person wasn't indoctrinated too young ofc cause that's another story )
The person would most likely have a "scar of a spell" left in their now fully developed brain but it won't resurface as it is too weak


3) that is why they are trying to indoctrinate them as young as they can because if they can even get to children they will do it

Because manipulation is easier and they will make them comply to their schemes more easily

Uknow wants to be future CEO of SM. I heard rumour that he compete for that with Boa and Siwon. And I really think he is a handler, Taeyong from NCT said that Uknow was his dance teacher and he listen to him because what Uknow says is a law for younger trainees. He never had a dating scandal, he wants to keep clean image so he can become a CEO. I think somewhere around 2013 Dispatch wanted to reveal a celebrity gay couple but the company/ companies of this couple stopped it. there a lots of terrible truths that slap me as a kpop fan..I am writing this because I think you are interested to know
here is it for me if you want to know

1- the celebrities probably don't care about us(this is honestly the biggest one)
I tell my self(or lie to myself if want to be honest) if I prayed for them, once they died..there soul would appreciate me(so I can get over this) and I fantasize about seeing Suho in heaven(since I share same religion like him) the rest mostly not(bcz all other group I like have no religion like him, mostly christian) I am revealing too much about myself, I feel may be I don't know..I delete it? whatever
