Morpheus: I can see it in your eyes. You have the look of a man who accepts what he sees because he's expecting to wake up. Ironically, this is not far from the truth. Do you believe in fate, Neo?
Neo: No.
Morpheus: Why not?
Neo: 'Cause I don't like the idea that I'm not in control of my life.
Morpheus: know exactly what you mean. Let me tell you why you're here. You're here because you know something. What you know, you can't explain. But you feel it. You felt it your entire life. That there's something wrong with the world. You don't know what it is, but it's there. Like a splinter in your mind - driving you mad. It is this feeling that has brought you to me. Do you know what I'm talking about?

I really need to watch that show
It's excellent. Dark and twisted as all get out, but excellent. The literary and pop culture references, the symbolism "hidden in plain sight"...I love it. Sam Esmail (creator/director of the show) may be a genius. Even uses William Carlos Williams' "The Red Wheelbarrow" which is probably the most mundane, simple poem ever, in a way I wouldn't have anticipated.

Jay Gatsby aka The Greast Gatsby.

the character had so much depth and so much inner turmoil that was severly confused, misguided, disillusioned, and inflated sense of dreams and it always hurts me that if he had at least 1 decent person in his life whether poor or rich that could observe his behavior and tell him straight up "hey man your chasing illusions and your going after people / things that are all a fixed vision in your head. daisy isn't the same person you remember, you can live without her, focus on yourself more, make some positive out of this life you peprupated and get help"

then He'd be alright.
the way he loved daisy is awe inspiring yet tragic for me it's 50 / 50.

I relate to it so much in good and bad ways.

Tidus - Final Fantasy X (10)

It's random as hell, but Tidus (actually prounced tee-dus in proper form from the japanese pronunciation* ) is like my all time favorite video game character. I could write novels about this guy but he is awe inspiring to me, very realistic despite the fact many smarks hate him cause of his "whiney" personality that even square enix itself shits on in it's dialogue and story lines of him in multiple games (which I always though was bullshit because he was the closest thing to a realistic human being in the real living world / american world we've got in FFX10 games. we'd be fucking lying if we said we have never met a teenager or young adult like tidus before. He is just proof of how critical voice acting is in games because the infamous ha ha ha scene kinda put a dent in it) Tidus is amazing and he has this very surfer boy american type spunk in him despite it being a japanese game and overly fictional place. I don't think this guy ever got the credit he deserved ever I love Yuna to bits but I see him more of a hero than her as a Heroine tbh. I felt he had a lot of layers as person trying to find himself and deserves a side story of his own. Great character if they ever made a live action I'd be VERY touchy about it but would see it in a heart beat.

TONY MONTANA - SCARFACE

The OG himself. He built his empire and single handily destroyed it all t his own will whether knowingly or unknowingly. Needs no massive introduction. Truly iconic for all sorts of entertainment and celebrities. Literally inspired my other fave video game character Tommy Vercetti (Ray Liotta voiced, GTA VICE CITY) and that whole game. He had balls of steel and a lot of grit. he lived in a blaze of glory and that glory is historic. I actually want a "the world is yours" led lamp in the small pool in my home someday LOL.

Love The Great Gatsby, especially Leo DiCaprio's portrayal of Jay Gatsby. Just love Fitzgerald. Glad someone else can relate.

exactly. think what you want of Leo as a person but he was born to play that role he perfected it. I could not imagine anyone else being him I forgot he was Leonardo and I just saw the character that's how good he was as Gatsby. Besides despite his hoe-ish ways in hollywood dating wise he was a lot of Scorpio and some cancer going on in him that makes him perfect for that role.

you have to be an emotional person like an extreme cancer zodiac, scorpio or pisces to play that role and not make it look like a bunch of actors reading off script.
