To be honest, I'm too cheap to buy being cool. Cool is a commodity. It is a spiritual state at the apex of consumerism. When you start looking at the brand rather than the actual garment, this is your baptism in the consumerist religion. You turn on top 40 radio to receive the consumerist gospel. When you become cool, you have reached a level where you have attained a spiritual gift of the consumerist religion. You have acquired an intangible coolness through your tangible consumer products. It's like a consumerist miracle. You are filled with the fire of the consumerist unholy ghost. Then they take the consumerist adepts who speak in tongues and put a beat to their words and these adepts are called rappers.If you're thinking about becoming "cool" then you're never going to be cool.
