Thinking About Becoming Cool

So I'm thinking about becoming cool. I figure it might help me win friends and influence people.

My question is- how does one become cool? And what is cool?

I gotta figure out how to appeal to the young people. That way I can seen as groovy or "tubular" as the young people say.

I think you are talking cool in the highest possible sense and that you are correct. I think there's also cool in the sense that rappers are cool and I think this sort of cool is a social construction. Things that were cool one year are not cool a few years later- that means cool is really just a social construction, I think. A social construction to make us buy expensive clothes, cars and things we don't need.

Kill your pride, your self ego, become humble and always think lowly of yourself trying to put others before yourself as hard as that may be to do. I don't think there is any such thing as being cool. People have too many flaws to be cool lol. Just watch a few of the Americas most funniest videos of people and kids being all clumsy and stuff, funny and cute! There are also compilation vids on youtube of people fails too where they're recordeing doing all sorts of dumb things. After watching a few hours of that, I don't think I could see people being "cool".
