Their music is almost hypnotising and it’s scary how much impact they have on us I have just lost interest after I heard about them I’m so glad for this thread
yeah , there was a time when I listened to BTS and only BTS and it's not something I do because their color of music is far from what I usually listen to , but once I started, it was difficult to not replay over and over their songs

i am pretty sure about that, specially that BH doesn't put anything there by accident, every lyric is there for a reason
Agreed they monitor everything extremely cautiously...I remember when RM talked about how he let his boss listen to the music he produced before they could finalize it

During a recent 'V LIVE' broadcast, Rap Monster revealed the behind story of their new song, 'Spring Day.' He said, "I was walking around at the park while listening the song's beat. At that time, I suddenly saw fallen leaves and thought it's beautiful." Therefore, he came up with the lyrics, 'Snowflakes are falling' which was originally, 'Leaves are falling.' After finishing making the song, he let his boss listen to the music but the boss said, "I'm not sure about this song because the song was sung by you. I should listen to this with vocal member's voices." Just like that, 'Spring Day' was released to the public.

It kinda makes you think about a lot of stuff hey...how much influence do these so called “boss’s” have over their music?

Exactly and one of the reasons they are praised is because of their creative freedom I think all songs are checked before they are released

I agree.
But also in new music?
I mean, i noticed Euphoria had 0 impact, most people are afraid to said it but apparently it is considered "generic"(if you search for the braves who decided to write something).
when I first listened to it, it came in my mind that serendipity was better, serendipity impact was bigger. but of course no one can say this on twitter for example because others gonna attack whoever disagrees

You see among the things I really hate about the kpop and kpop fandoms in general is that they never express their sincere opinion about something unlike fans of western music, so what if you don't like a song? what if it doesn't appeal to you? why other fans feel the need to attack someone who said "well Euphoria wasn't that good" . I really find this ridiculous, you're entitled to express your opinion freely about what you like and dislike.

I was just reading an article on Dr Taylor’s research with how music can result in changes and variations of the brain
She talks about how people can become or have similarities to what they listen to and it links to the messages and vibrations sent to the brain when we listen to music I remember when I listened to BTS I would automatically move like I couldn’t keep still it’s not just them but all music and to think that most have satanic themes goes to show the problems it causes for our brain and spirituality I’ll link the article if anyone is interested in reading it

Thank you for the article, I just read it and oh my god that's really horrifying! I used to listen to rock music and even metal a long time ago and I wasn't feeling good, but now glad I don't listen to that genre anymore.

CEO's control everything. I'm thinking about how Big Bang, as big as they are, YG does not allow them to have much room for creativity.

While we're on the subject of how BTS' music influences us.. I casually listen to KPop. When I first got into it, Big Bang was my main group. Then came BTS and at one point far down the road, I only listened to BTS. I wouldn't even listen to the other KPop songs I had on my playlist. Granted, BTS make music I like more, I started preferring them over Big Bang. Makes me think they possibly place subliminals in their music to say "Only listen to us," lol.
I dont pick up on all the symbolism at first glance like some of you even though I've been studying about Illuminati symbolic references since forever now. What made me seek out the KPop thread here is I wanted to see what others thought about BS&T song and video. I will shamefully admit I like the song but it is a very enticing song, almost sensual in and of itself apart from the video. I wanted to know if I was the only one who thought this song was just too much.
At which point do you all think they began to crossover into heavier occultic content. Which video pushes them to it. Cos I would say it is between Fire or BS&T but I want to hear y'alls opinion.

No problem at all and it is horrifying I’m glad you don’t listen to rock anymore music has quite an inpact on someone’s development and the vibrations and radiation can be bad for your brain

I wanted to add..

As a music lover, it makes me so angry when fans of any music artist can't admit when a song is trash. On the topic of ARMYs, it's funny how when it was announced BTS were gonna perform on the AMAs "DNA," then and only then could they admit "DNA" was the weakest song choice. I honestly don't even think BTS were satisfied with it. But yes, not every song the release is great. And the last album wasn't great either but look how it managed to break into charts.

You’re not the only one BS&T made me quite excited for some reason it was always in my head and even if I hadn’t listened to it for ages the chorus was stuck in my mind Even my friends who aren’t Kpop fans said that the song was really catchy and kept repeating in their heads for me it was definitely one of their songs which had the most symbolism I think they were always part of it as everything is planned with the occult but I feel like 2016 was when the signs became more clear and open

Personally I think ever since they made their US mini pre-debut after their dark and Wild album back in 2014 everything changed...remember BTS American hustle life when they went to the US to get training and advice from well known ppl from the music industry like Tony jones, coolio ect I feel like they learned a few minor tricks. Their dark and wild concept was simple, there was no complicated fan theories it was only after I need you when theories started surfacing, and symbolism slowly started to appear but in my opinion it only starting getting super blatant after Fire...it’s just so crazy how well thought out and interlinked BIGHIT made each song...like every little detail is connected, it’s honestly like a series

Here’s an interview of tony on his experience with BTS I only posted what I found interesting:https://www.soompi.com/2014/11/17/interview-meet-tony-jones-bts-hip-hop-mentor-on-american-hustle-life-2/

Where do you see K-Pop in five years?

T: I really see K-Pop blowing up and growing. I don’t know if the management thought of bringing them to America or starting an American BTS, but what they’re doing is brilliant. There’s no one in America dancing, singing, and rapping like that. It’s actually a good idea to start a group like that in America. They took from New Edition, from Boys to Men, they also took from A$AP Rocky. They just took everything and put it together. I don’t know if that was the plan or the boys were that talented but it’s lucky they came together. It’s brilliant. I really think that K-Pop will blow up more and it won’t be a local thing anymore. It’s going to grow because of BTS.

Hmmm...

Anyway you can read the rest of the interview but that’s just my opinion

i

it makes me angry too, I am a BTS fan and the quality of their latest album LY was weak comparing to their previous ones. And for DNA I didn't like, it wasn't satisfying, most people disliked it because of the EDM genre but as a music fan who listens to a lot of genres sometimes , it wasn't the EDM problem but something else, i don't know it just wasn't appealing to me. and for the charts, you can see a lot of songs that aren't that good but were charting for a long time there.
Honestly I absolutely loved their hip hop concepts from previous years, they produced one of the greatest songs ever from cypher, converse high, bapsae to rain ect they should have just honestly stuck with that concept, it worked for them, and added that unique element now I feel like they’re becoming more of a pop orientated group and honestly I didn’t like DNA...it was a disappointment...nothing more but promoting the mark of the beast lol

I guess i'm the minority here but i was never fascinated with BTS tbh. I mean they're a cool group with amazing visuals and talent and their music was great as well but i never caught the hype. Idk why, even before all the massive fame in America i never liked them. I like some of thier music but i cant stand looking at their pictures or any of their videos. The moment i see a bts picture i swipe away or if its a video i avoid it like the plague, like a reflex action of sorts.
I always thought that was weird because i never had the same reaction with any other kpop group and I've been listening to kpop since i was about 9.
Also Idk if you guys have seen this but theres a person on YT who claims to do fortune readings on kpop idols and she made a video on bts but said she wouldn't make a reading on them because apparently they have too much 'energy' around them and its impossible to get a reading. I've always been a ultra sensitive person so maybe I've felt the same but never realized it?

Oh yes I definitely know her she was the one who feared for V’s dark future in terms of him being possibly endangered I think she said something about him being poisoned or something by an anti fan? Idk what to think about that other than that her predictions seemed pretty accurate

And going back to the BTS thing I don’t blame you tho, they get too overhyped sometimes that’s it’s overwhelming and annoying, not a day goes by without seeing them everywhere on every social media ugh it kinda puts you off tbh

their hip hop concepts were the best to be honest, I enjoyed them and yeah you worded correctly "DNA was a disappointment" it just helped them chart and was so popish, I have no problem with pop though because I listen to it but I didn't like this change.
