I believe this as well. And Vigilant Citizen himself believes it. Are people going to be VC readers when it comes to other topics and not when it comes to ISIS? Are people going to selectively stop being conspiracy theorists when it suits their preconceived agenda?

That has always happened through history. Conquer or be conquered, Indians had inferior technology, so we dominated them.
