Zeolites - chelating heavy metals?

Hey!

I just sat in a several hour long phone call with a man about zeolites and its ability to chelate out copper and aluminium. Does anybody know anything about this?

Supposedly one can drink it or place the stones on the body and bind the metals that way. Has anyone tried this and if so what were the results?

i heard the same (but not about placing it on the body to adsorb metals); i never tried it. activated charcoal may help; i dont have my book in front of me, so i cant check that out.

cilantro is supposed to help; drinking distilled water... saunas... fermented foods... avoid carrots: they seem to suck up a lot of metals from the ground. conversely, you can plant carrots in the soil to pull out heavy metals (and then trash the carrots, of course).
i there are tests where you can take a hair sample and mail it into a lab for analysis, but ive read they are not accurate. best to just incorporate some of the dietary changes into your lifestyle and it will be much less of a concern.

Interesting....perhaps it is metal buildup for all of us?!
from what ive read, it varies greatly from person to person due to vocation, lifestyle, and environment. additionally, some people are more sensitive than others. i think (cant remember exactly) that the blood test for metals is far more accurate than the hair analysis.
if your diet/health lifestyle is suited to remove heavy metals, you dont need to bother testing since youre already solving the problem. :)

Im on a detox diet, im not detoxing. Took the hair analysis, thats why. A diet can take up to three years to work. Especially if one has a calcium shell.

Thanks mr moog ~looking into tweaking my diet/removing chemicals/metals.
Good luck and well wishes to others in their cleansing journey!
Just remember it takes time, up to three years. I also gained weight from it. And its expensive. I really do wish thered be something faster than a diet.

There are faster methods than diet- they’re expensive though. You can spend a lot on suppositories for chelating, or get the more old school method done where you have a blood transfusion done for the purpose.

Do you have any recommendations besides a bloodtransfusion? :)

Sadly I can’t recommend any, you can just look up chelation suppositories. For me they were too expensive, totalling a few hundred+ if you do the full cycle they recommend. I honestly suspect I’ve got serious problems from heavy metals because I’ve got Schizotypal and I used to have the bad fillings, so maybe one day I’ll pony up.

And yeah @2cool4thisplanet getting your blood cleansed is some Mr. Burns shit or for people with hereditary blood disorder’s. Looks like I was wrong and for chelation you just need “an intravenous infusion of the chelating agent, EDTA (Ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid).” not a full-on transfusion lol

Interestingly the naturopath clinic I got that info from is charging $155 CAD per session (and they mention doing a few,) so it’s pretty comparable to the cost of a full cycle of reputable suppositories. Decisions decisions..

But wait a minute, maybe I can help you out a bit here. in my country -sweden- we can buy chelating capsuleswith clay for say 30 dollars. maybe 40. Its cheaper, you just need to pay for the toll.

Also what about EDTA?
