Health care for one. Europe also has a lot of better labor laws and consumer protection rights. Pretty much the only thing we have is more relaxed gun laws.
And you have lower taxes.

Americans as a whole understand more what freedom is. I live in Canada and most people here are completely brainwashed by the mass media and the woke mentality. You do not find much on the subject of conspiracies in more socialist countries like mine and also Europe. Pretty much any material related to the freedom/"conspiracy theorist" movement comes from the US. Which is why there is a massive effort to undermine that country more. Thanks to the internet that material is being shared more elsewhere though.

Conspiracy theories are not always particularly healthy. I think that Americans should really start by understanding some of the fundamental political problems, corporate influence, foreign interventions, nuclear weapons, hegemony. Grasping all of the occult stuff but having no comprehension of quite simple practical realities is a little backwards.

Lower taxes, with nothing to show for it.

And frankly, I don't care if someone believes in a "conspiracy theories", especially if their belief doesn't motivate them to actually do anything to change the world. Great, you believe that a cabel of devil worshipers run the world. What are you going to do about? I'd take a Greek anarchist who doesn't believe in the Illuminati but is willing to actually fight against the system over someone that sits on their ass watching YouTube videos and acts smug since they feel they are actually out of the Luciferian system because they are aware of it.

Socialistic healthcare? Just like the VA? You’re kidding right?

What’s better about the labor laws and the consumer protection rights?

We pretty much have the notion here that anyone..no matter the color of your skin or the money in your bank account..can make something of yourself here...I think that matters a great deal to people.

A couple of million Vietnamese. The Cambodians whose lands were bombed with napalm to render them infertile. The Laotians who were bombed because "the planes were there, we have to do something with them".

It looks as if we weren’t alone in this war..and I don’t think you can really blame it all on the US since other countries were involved like the Soviet Union and China...

The war was fought in Laos, Vietnam, and Cambodia from November 1st, 1955 until the fall of Saigon on April 30th, 1975. The war was officially fought between South Vietnam and North Vietnam, and several other countries were also involved. The countries that supported North Vietnam were China, the Soviet Union, and other communist countries while South Vietnam was supported by the US, the Philippines, Australia, South Korea, Thailand, and other countries who were anti-communism and that is why the war is also referred to as the proxy war of the Cold War era. The presidents of the United States during the Vietnam War were Dwight Eisenhower, John F. Kennedy, Lyndon B. Johnson, Richard Nixon, and Gerald Ford.

The war claimed the lives of more than 3 million people which included more than 58,000 American soldiers, and more than half of the casualties were Vietnamese civilians. Eventually, the war ended, and the Communist forces captured South Vietnam in 1975, and the country was unified and was renamed the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in 1976.

well in the uk we have mandatory 25 day holidays, meaning companies have to give us that amount off, we have maternity and paternity leave with pay, any company not paying will be taken to court, we have serious health and safety laws that save lives, we have equality rules too, and a minimum wage, no one has to live off tips in the uk because we actually pay people.

also people cant just make something of themselves, poverty and debt sees to that. pretty much all of Europe has better education, welfare and opportunities.

Better education to be good little socialists? All you really have is a big welfare state paid for by people that are actually making money and working..ya? Those people may be able to do better personally if they didn’t have to pay for the ones that don’t work, going to the dr and paid time off. Because honestly..when you take days off that hurts your company. 25 holidays is a bit much. What happens to a company who has to figure out how to manage their business when you’re off for maternity or paternity leave? That’s hard on companies..and if you think that doesn’t matter..what happens if your company goes under..and you have no job..that’s even worse.

What are your health and safety laws?

America has become a bit of a joke in other countries to be honest, the whole freeist country in the world doesnt hold up the moment you do a bit of digging,
  • people dying or going bankrupt because of the medical industry, for most European nations with socialised health care thats not freedom, freedom is being ill and just going to get help without worrying about insurance or how to pay.
  • towns who cant use the water because its been contaminated
  • the fact america is obsessed with war and guns, i think last time i looked America has been at war for 222 years of its 239 year history.
  • kids wearing bullet proof back packs and dying in school shootings, just does not make sense to a lot of people outside the US
  • how America has started most wars since 1946, either declaring war on others or using certain illegal tactics to start civil unrest/wars or wars between other nations.
  • how the US government has been caught lying or doing some serious underhanded stuff, eg operation paperclip, project sunshine, tuskegee study.
  • one of the biggest prison populations.
  • lectures other nations, yet they have some of the worst poverty, health issues, workers rights and education in the world.
  • going off the above comment, the only lists they top are bad ones.
  • maternity care is one of the worst, with death rates being some of the worst in the western world.
  • the paranoia Americans experience, everyone is out to get you and the news is just constant fear peddling.
  • some of the worst public transport and infrastructure.
  • women and gays rights are being sent backwards.
  • sex education is one of the worst leading to some of the worst teen pregnancy and std statistics. some of us look at the abstinence only education with pure horror.
  • education is abysmal, America has some of the worst cases of illiteracy, with schools being underfunded.
  • the arrogance can make us laugh because of all the above.
  • America and WW2, yeah.....
  • no one is bothered about tips in Europe, you get tips if you do a good job, you dont have to rely on tips to survive because we make sure people are paid for work.
  • no maternity or paternity pay.
  • the christian taliban ( its getting there)
  • terrible if existant at all worker rights.
As George Carlin famously said, “It's called 'the American Dream' 'cause you have to be asleep to believe it.”

personally i think freedom is having medical care when i need it without worry, having worker rights and the right to a minimum wage.

you really dont know what socialism is do you? or what a democratic socialist is.
if you did you would know that the UK is a capatalist country with socialised medical care, our education is pretty comprehensive, in fact recently people have been maoning its not socialist enough.

Actually even people on welfare have to pay taxes and national insurance, everyone pays in and everyone benefits. no one stays sick they just get medical care when needed.
you clearly have been drinking the american patriot cool aid, we have 25 days leave and the company pays up, then workers arent over worked and become ill, instead they have time off to rest and worker turnout is better, we dont live like slaves to companies. it might be a bit much for you but that coolaid propaganda is mighty strong.
If companies cant afford the mandatory sick/maternity or holiday pay they dont get the workers end of. people are more than just money makers for corporations in the uk.

the uk health and saftey laws are vast and very good, trust me i was a health and safety officer for a factory for a number of years, some of the rules are, all factories must have safety rails and guards, all machinery must have emergency stop buttons at arm length at all times, that shut machinery down, safety equipment ( steel toe capped shoes, aprons, gloves) must be provided and people with allergies must eb accounted for, such as non latex gloves for people with latex allergies. first aid boxes mush be up to date and checked regularly, with first aid stations clearly marked and available at all times, fire doors must be clearly marked, with zero obstructions. all staff must go on COSHH ( The Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) training, paid for by the company. all appropriate training must be done and paid for by the company. any hazardous materials must be stored and disposed of correctly.

Lol..who doesn’t have those safety rules? Third world countries? Haha.

I don’t believe that living in the UK is as rosy as you say..sorry. You can’t have all that going on and it be rosy, them money has to come from somewhere and you can’t just keep giving and getting the way you‘re doing it..Thatcher was right..eventually you run out of other people’s money...and then what happens? Probably like here..the politicians keep kicking the can down the line hoping they aren’t stuck holding the bag..while they indoctrinate you all into thinking its all good. I hope it will be all good..but I don’t see how.

believe me they really dont, those living in socialised countries wouldnt dream of giving up the stuff they have, the only ones coming to america are those in war torn countries. usually countries america has bombed into oblivion.
Maybe...if they like life under the governments thumb...but we get a lot of people wanting to immigrate here for a reason. You can say people don’t want to come here..but lots do and some will even die trying.

We haven’t bombed anyone into oblivion..what countries are ya talking about?

Haha..I guess I can assume you’ll never come here?

The health and safety laws in the us are pretty subpar, believe me I know, I've worked there.
The money circulates, people pay taxes, taxes pay for stuff, people work get paid, they pay more taxes, the more you earn the taxes you pay. Thatcher nearly bankrupted the country because she tried to use the American method or a bastardised version, there's a reason she's not very popular in the UK.
It's not other people's money, it's people paying taxes that pay for services, and I'd say we have pretty good, seeing as I can pop to the local emergency room right now and not pay a penny, get sorted and I'm done. I pay less in tax than the average person in America pays for medical insurance, plus you have to co pay.
Me nothing, take my partner, he's type 1 diabetic, he has two types of insulin injections, needles, blood sugar machines, a personal diabetic nurse, he's currently on a dietary course and he recently had an ambulance out due to a diabetic fit, the current bill we have to pay £0. I'd say that's much more free than having to find 500 dollars for a vile of insulin.

Countries you have invaded, bombed and attacked since 1949, many on false pretences, North Korea, Vietnam, Cambodia, iraq (twice), Iran, Afghanistan, Libia, Yemen, Somalia, Kenya, there is a reason America is not trusted anymore when it comes to military intelligence. You know those weapons of mass distruction and all that, the war on terror, yeah caused more problems than it solved. America's habit of interfering with third world nations, causing civil wars, selling arms to countries ( Iran-Contra), selling drugs through the CIA and then you get upset when people from those countries try and escape the hell hole you created.

Also I've lived and worked in America, your assumptions are just that and believe me it made me appreciate the welfare system, the nhs and the work rights we have a hell of a lo more. Britian isn't perfect far from it, I could make a list just as long as my American one, of how britian isnt perfect. The thing is though we don't pretend we are perfect, we don't proclaim we are the land of the free and the best country in the world. That's why Europe and the rest of the world laughs at you, we can see what a shot show America is, the only tables you top are bad one, worst pregnancy deaths, worst education, worst police, most mass shootings, most school shootings, largest prison population.
So your freedom isn't freedom, it's an allusion you are brainwashed to believe from day one and clearly it works

Well the other countries weren't directly involved, they might have been supplying weapons or something but they weren't actually killing people. What business of the USA was it that Ho Chi Minh wished to install a communist regime? It was a local conflict, not Uncle Sam's problem. Anyway, Vietnam ended up communist anyway, so it was all for nothing.

And what justification do you have for the bombing of Cambodia and Laos? Try reading "My War With The CIA" by the former Cambodian king Norodom Sihanouk, it's very illuminating.
