The one sign that Christ gave that He was the Christ was given to the scribes and Pharisees in Matthew 12:38-41. Did Christ know how many hours were in a day or night?..YES,...Jesus says, "are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walketh in the day he stumbleth not, because he seeth the light of this world, but if he walketh in the night, he stumbleth, because there is no light in him. (John 11:9-10) The very fact that Christ made the prediction, it had to be correct....not 2 1/2 days...But three days and three nights, The Lord created day and night! To try and prove otherwise is to call the Lord a liar.

Either your book is true and the Lord is lying or your book is false.

He also said He would rise again on the third day.

Well... 14 Nisan was the first day and 15 Nisan was the second day and 16 Nisan was the third day.

Just as He said.

It doesn't make sense to us because we count one whole day as 24 hours or one whole day of daylight and night, but the Hebrews did not. Three days and nights, in the Hebrew thinking a day/night is one day. Also any portion of a day was reckoned as a day. If you go to the book of Mark and carefully study the last week of Jesus' ministry starting with the first day of the week and his triumphal entry into Jerusalem and ending with the resurrection on the first day of the week you will see that Jesus was crucified on Friday afternoon, rested in the grave on the Sabbath and rose sometime after sunset (after the evening of the Sabbath close) on the first day of the week. The Bible does not give the exact hour of the resurrection, but very early in the morning He had already risen.

Hi Kung Fu, The Lord is not returning to discuss the Bible and who is right or wrong. After His body is completed and with Him as He is, He is coming back with Judgment!
