He's elevating her with her underlining the actresses name as if her co-star is irrelevant. He's doing a traditionally masculine pose. The male archetype Arnold Schwarzenegger (himself a shameless willing slave to the system) did plenty of poses like this with various women when he was just known as a body builder.
Notice how his attempt at being manly and handsome is thwarted by her messing with his face so he comes off looking stupid, while also conveniently getting the one eye in there as well as an (almost ?) 666 sign with her hand. To make sure we get it he's also winking at us.
